Thank you for that. I do not know if you are aware, but Charmian Carr (the actress who played Lisel in the Sound of Music) is also a Farnon. Her father was Brian Farnon. I just thought you might want to know.

Robert Farnon was my uncle (he passed away a couple of years ago). Excellent to see his music being played!! Thank you.

Wow, Mr. Farnon - that must mean you're the son of Dennis or Brian Farnon (also very great)? I'm one the leigon of people worldwide for whom Robert Farnon is a GOD. In fact, in his field, I can think of noone for whom the world of music is more determinidly universal in its desicion that he was simply the very greatest.

I found this video from checking the name 'Farnon' in the search. I'm a huge admirer of Arranger/Composer Robert Farnon's work. Thank you for posting this recent performance. It can't have been an easy piece to play, so congrats to all concerned (such a shame it cuts off before the end of the piece. I hope the Band are encouraged to play more from the Farnon catalogue at future concerts.
