@Aguilaz4ever Don't worry man, it's just an dumb option in your ps3 that you have to "activate" in the settins section, "enable WMP" something like that, I hope it works for ya

You can add more than one MKV file at a time. So the videos will be queued up, and all you have to do is leave it there and it'll do its stuff.

Fantastic guide. I had the tsmuxer.exe error originally, but followed the workaround instructions, and then all was well. The HD .mkv file I had was quite large - 4.31 Gb - but it re-encoded in just a couple of minutes. I then copied the new file (slightly larger, at 4.46 Gb) to the PS3 from my PC through Media Server via the ethernet cable, and it played perfectly. Thanks a lot!

Thats all great and what not but Ive been ripping all my DVD's with DVDdecrypt and converting them to MKV with Stacksrip.It seems a waste of HDD space on my WHS to keep them as VOB. Isnt there any way to stream MKV files to the PS3 without VOB? Or better yet how can I rip them into standard 700mb AVI files? this is second time trying to convert my mkv file and after pressing 'Don't Send' it continues but comes up again near the end where it eventually says on the status "Muxing Failed!"

another difference is yours says 'VORBIS to AC3' when you're remixing, is that anything to do with it ?

It makes no difference. File splitting is there so that the video will fit onto the device you want to put it on to, whether that is a DVD, Blu Ray, USB etc.
