  • Intrusive Thoughts Sucks Horribly, like for example...I keep having this urge and curiosity to think against the God i believe in. and if i dont, then doubts start popping up in my head until i give up and then feel guilty and angry and its always the same cycle. i really dont know what to do, u i hate taking pills cause they lower my sensory sensations as side effects. but i think what i have are intrusive thoughts right?

  • @MrOutPsycho Yeah, they sound like intrusive thoughts to me.... I experience the same thing.... They put me on Citalopram recently for my OCD but I haven't really noticed much of a difference yet.... They said they would try a different medicine if this doesn't work out for me.... So maybe you should try another medicine as well. 'Cause some have more side affects than others.... You could try to find one that works for you...

  • It's OCD, I always want to kill people or think extremely offensive derogatory terms for no reason. The anxiety comes from how you react to it not the thought itself which is transient. Honestly the worst thing to do is try and block it out, simply let it pass and realize you did not hurt or offend anyone this reassurance will have a cumulative effect on your future dealings with intrusive thoughts :)

  • my thoughts are horrid. to the point where it makes me think i actually like what im thinking and i DONT. i have thought of suicide numerous times. i would really like to talk to people who have had the same issue

  • @TenshiTamagoKidd15 You're not alone! I know how you feel, I have these thoughts too.... However, if you feel like you're going to commit suicide though, please see a professional. I'm here anytime you would like to talk! You can always send a message if there is anything that you would like to share with me privately.

  • i should not feel bad about it ether

  • Hey guys.... I just made a new video on how to help get the intrusive thoughts under control.... You can see it on my channel now... I hope it's helpful to you, let me know.... :)

  • Thanks for sharing this! Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

  • @eleventharrow I'm not sure if I fully understand what you mean, but thank you for the advice. :)

  • I have OCD too. Ever since I was about 6/7. I've always though of OCD as tourettes of the brain. Keep posting OCD videos :). We need more people spreading awareness like you.

  • @ShhhhhItsasecret Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! People like you are the reason I continue to make these videos. :) If you're looking for more OCD videos, I do have more videos about OCD if you want if you search through more of my videos..... :) And yes, OCD is very much like having Tourettes of the brain! You have no control of it! And that's exactly what it's like. Thank you so much for the comment, it made my day. XD

  • yeah i have real bad intrusive thoughts...

and they become obsessions... it's not fun :(

  • i have intrusive thoughts too. at first i thought i was alone but i read about some pretty influential people who had the same problem. i still struggle with it from time to time. i try not to let it bother me but that is still hard. i think what its called (or at least what i have) is called scrupulosity.

  • Thank God! : ) I thought I was alone. : (

I have awful, horrible, disgusting thoughts and they just dont stop. I lay awake all night trying to stop them, but they just wont go away! Thnaks for telling me im not alone!

I just now need to find out how to make them stop.

  • @CoolBeagle Well, you are definitely not alone!! :D There are many people who have these kinds of uncontrollable thoughts but we are still good people. So sorry to hear that the thougts have taken such a big toll on you. I've noticed that what helps with the intensity of my thought is to not care that you're having the thought. Try not to let it bother you as much, and maybe they won't seem to be as intense. :)

  • You are such a big help, thankyou so much for this video, I struggle with intrusive thoughts and some times they really torture, me, some horrid things, but in my heart i know i could never hurt anyone and i cant help having them.

    Just thankyou for this video!!!

  • @xashfordx You're very welcome!! :) Glad that it helped, remember that you are not alone! Don't ever let those thoughts take over! They are meaningless.

And thanks for your comment, it is appreciated. :)

  • What's the word she's saying that sounds like copralaleeya

  • @Largestina In the video I said, Copralia. Coprallia is the involuntary vocalization of obscenities. In the video, I am talking about how I sometimes get thoughts that are involuntary obscenities.

  • I'm really, really glad that there have been many people on here who have found this video helpful in dealing with their own intrusive thoughts. Remember, if anyone ever needs to talk, just send me a message. I'm only a click away. ;)

  • my intrusive thoughts get horrible and they stay for a long time, i need to know how to ignore them, i know that sounds silly but really, i need to know how to ignore them, please help,

    -scoot

  • @JackBauerlene Hey Scott, sorry to hear that your intrusive thoughts have been so stressful to you lately. Unfortunately, there is no way to stop the thoughts when you have OCD..... But you can learn how to live with them. When you get a bad thought, remind yourself that it is a thought that is being created only because of your OCD.

  • @JackBauerlene (Continued from last comment): It doesn't mean that you truly feel that way. Our brains can create so many different thoughts. But because we have OCD, not all of our thoughts get filtered out. So we have normal thoughts combined with unnecassary thoughts since none of them are being filtered out like they should be. So don't worry about it, you can't control it. And you shouldn't be feeling guilty about something that you can't control. ;)

  • @Kristiniskool srry, it wouldnt post, so i kinda pressed more than one time, :P

  • @JackBauerlene Don't be sorry!! :) You didn't post it more than once, your comment showed up more than once because I replied to your comment more than once. So it showed up more than once because of me, so don't worry about it!! It's all good!! :) Hope you're doing okay, and that you're dealing with the thoughts pretty well. You can always send me a message if you ever want to talk to someone about it. Good luck with them! :)

  • @JackBauerlene So the next time you get an unnecassary thought, don't feel bad about them. Instead, simply laugh at how rediculous they are! :D

  • hi, ever since 2009 i had some stupid thought like Am i fake, and this year it kinda came back, its not that bad this year, but i just need to know how to end the thoughts so my life wont be miserable, please help because i dont know how to ignore them, they just stay.

  • Thank you i really needed this =)

  • @meka1529 You're welcome!! :) I'm glad that this video was helpful to you. And feel free to send me a message anytime if you ever want to talk about it! :)

  • @Astralized u cant get rid of them.

u actually create them in a split second. U will always dart for a possible scenario before u can conciously stop urself.

That is their comphrension, u comphrend their reality. Know that they are not reality, know that before they stem from your imagining their reality.

All thoughts are fantasy, u can fantise solid reality. But know their birth foundation was of fantasy, and this will allow u to dismiss them.

  • Its thoughts = Energy = Reality

Comphrend a possibility, and u will imagine its frutation, and u will feel the horrible reality that others would see as absurd.

U cant beat it, just understand its foundation.

Its a nothingness thought that holds reality within, yet its not reality, merely a comphrension, so its not necessary to obey it.

  • i get it much worse ;/ i feel like i wanna punch everyone but i know i dont really

  • My intrusive thought would have been stabbing her with the nearest knife. Mine are almost always violent. What I am scared of is that one day I may loose it and actually do the thought. On top of my OCD I have schizophrenia. Before anyone says anything, yes I am seeing a therapist.

  • I've had thoughts before, when I notice the person I'm talking to is genuinely nice, and then I say something in my head like " I hope they die " and take it back immediately x3

Also, I seem to have certain phrases that I can't stop from repeating my in my mind =S

    OCD is annoying x3

    Thank you for the advice.

  • @TheDreadedLOLShark My OCD intrusive thoughts are the same exact way! Glad to see that you're taking steps to just accept it and realize that it is not a thought made up from you, that it's a thought coming from the OCD. :) Good luck in dealing with it in the future, and thanks for your comment!!

  • i don't exactly enjoy my cousin pittying me for my intrusive thoughts. i know i shouldn't let my intrusive thoughts bother me, but they are so disturbing, i can't help but be bothered. sometimes i just want to cry

  • @Dreamer1196 Sorry to hear that your intrusive thoughts are bothering you so bad..... :( Try not to let them get to ya! You should realize that they're not a part of how you honestly feel, and that it's 100% pure OCD and do not reflect you.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dreamer1196 You just have to accept it, accept the fact that you're sometimes going to randomly get thoughts in your head that you don't like because of the OCD. I've learned to accept this myself, and have found that they're not as intense when you simply don't care that you're having them. :) So, hang in there!

  • @Kristiniskool Try reading the book Overcoming Obsessive Compulsive Disorder its helped me a lot with my intrusive thoughts.

  • @alanred101 Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe I'll find some time to go read it sometime then. Thanks!

  • Yep, sure is! Thanks, I really appreciate your comment!! :)

  • The 23rd psalm! You're a sweetie, keep fighting

  • This is so true! Of course, you already know I get intrusive thoughts as well. If we beat ourselves up over something we can't control, we're not making any headway.
