It is very easy to tell the difference from film verses video-film has a MUCH wider exposure latitude than video. hence the harsh look this shot has. You can't fool some of us man. So far, film STILL looks better than video!

Just by looking at the video for a second I could tell this is not film. Why would you put ARRI and 16mm on the same line. Is this deception? It sure is. Lying is Lying period. It almost looks like you used a gradient filter for the sky. This gets a thumbs down due to quality and aesthetics. If you're going to shoot something next time, use the real thing!

Nice quality. If this was shot on film, how did you convert to a video file? If shot with HD camcorder, what file type did you use to upload to youtube? So, far, I've had the best success with WMV 9 HD Standard.

it was a sd camcorder

the file type was windows media 11

this was done on sony vegas

i had to play with the deinterlacing settins

so it did not have interlacing issues

there is a setting to transcode with better quality but it takes a little longer

ive uploaded videos in all kind of formats

just make sure your final out put is 1280x720 and the aspect ratio is wide(16x9)

ps if it was film you can just record it with a video camera while it is being projected i know tis sounds crude but done right it will look good
