at the time of its release the ps2 had games like jak and dexter and ratchet and clank dont get me wrong these were great games but they overshadowed sly,even tho sly cooper was agame just as good if not better than those games ,if you look at ratchet and jak they are well known playstation franchises wheras sly is of the radar .

what i like about this game is that the shooting, the platforming and the combat are very well tied together

the shooting is not specially impressive yet the fact that you can edges of buildings and trees as cover is incredible (a nice and welcome twist to the classc cover system) and you can upgrade ur powers, the hand to hand combat looks better and the vertical element is great, for example you can kick an enemy off the edge of a building and then do that power drop to finish him

finally the best and more polished lookin part of the game, the platforming (surprise surprise) the climbin looks awesome and it looks like ur electrical powers add a lot to the experience, like that hovering move and sliding on electrical wire lines

i really hope Sucker Punch add a lot of platforming sections to the game
