Ok lol I got the exact same exhaust set up as u . But I can't seem to find the pipes going from the slp resonator on back. Any ideas! Btw lol our rides are freaking loud. Kinda afraid to drive it cuz it attracts alota attention

well, I would just post on a ls1 forum and see if someone is willing to sell you the rest of the catback. I might have mine for sale in a little. I've decided to go the true dual route with an x pipe, two 12" resonators, and a magnaflow x muffler. Hopefully it quiets it down a bit, 2.5" all the way. It attracts way too much attention right now especially from the cops lol!

ls1 is better than the lt1, and the slp is (street legal performance) they make some decent exhaust and header systems but if you want a nice one get the ls1 with ls6 heads and manifold with a corsa exhaust system 3inch 17/8" headers and a ms4 cam .600 thats what i did to my firehawk and it runs 11s now

LT1's came in later Corvettes (Tuned Port Injection) (late 80's early 90's) ..LS1's are the badass next Generation where Chevy revamped everything and worked out the bugs. '98 or'99 Camaro With K&N, Chip, SLP Exhaust, and a Cam, will do WONDERS! My friend had one and ate everything in town. His was a '99 SS. Low Cost for that year car as well. Good luck bro! it depends if you can afford an ls1 get that, lt1's dont pack as much power but they are cheaper to modify, its really where you wanna go with it

This car is not driven on a daily basis, although i do know of some guys who have this cam as a DD. It really depends on the tune. Thanks for the comment!

The heads were Ported and Polished and also had a valve job. Yep, that's untuned... It's now tuned and runs wayyyyy better.

Thanks for the comment! Bottom end of the motor is completey stock, top end is totally swapped. um... I think the only thing I didn't list is a double roller chain I swapped out.

yes, a cam this large will affect gas mileage. If you get a good tune though some remain around stock mpg's.

Alot of guys say that this cam can't be used as a daily driver, but i beg to disagree. It's all in the tune you get afterwards whether or not you'll be able to drive it daily. Thanks for the comment!

it also has to do with how much you are willing to put up with, if you have a manual, or an auto with a high stall converter, i run a big cam in my daily driver truck that everyone said was too big for daily driving but i've got a lock up 3500 stall converter so it is really fine

The headers were around 400, the y-pipe, gaskets, and cat back cost about 470. With clamps and o2 extensions it probably cost around $900. I did the whole install myself, so no labor costs. Thanks for the comment!
