from my humble point of view, can't pick out any particular favorite. let me throw one out there called blonde in the bleatchers. wow this whole album (electricity) kills
i can't believe this. have absolutely loved her since it could have been more than a name on the door on the 33rd floor. very musically rich. miles of isles was the last album i bought. saw her at redrocks 1980? not sure
I discovered Ms Mitchell when I was 16...1976...I love her still. Hope she feels the love. Cause she gives a ton and people don't tend to be kind to her. Take, take, take. but I want JM to know there is love that does not want or need to take. Ever so grateful for your gift to us, Lady. You helped me to mature and I am ever in your debt.
She is not only a great songwriter and singer, but a great guitar player and musician. She will surely go down in history as one of the true greats of modern music. What a sound she delivers ! What a mood she sets ! and the words ! the words and the soul !
'Court and Spark' is one of Joni's best studio recordings, and not well recognized. I saw it performed live in 1973. It was a funny and poignant song then, and it is now as well, as she peformed it more than a decade ago.
Thank you for your effort and sharing this upload.
she has been using the Parker for some time now. the midi pickup allows outboard control of the guitar to her various open tunings, without having to carry a myriad of pretuned guitars or delays to retune for virtually every song.
Thanks for posting the video.... the film idea is interesting. One can only hope it approaches the level of What's Love Got to Do With It. Though I hate to think who Hollywood would cast. Any suggestions?
ok, so when is there going to be a movie about this singer songwriter treasure? she's influenced so many other singer songwriter types. yet, so few match her amazing talents and her output.

In the future this woman will be known as one of the greatest poets/writers/musicians of our age--she has always used the very best musicians and her music will take you places you cannot imagine---(yes I'm a fan of 35 yrs)
I dont think so-- I am 51 and have cherished Joni Mitchell's talent for 4 decades--the point I was trying to make is that talent of her caliber usually isnt appreciated while the artist is still alive and I think its a shame because I wish some one could persuade her to do more music while we still have her with us--probably selfish but most fans are,,,
raw and unencumbered by pretense....a triumphant genius and a beautiful tigress alive amidst the unsuspecting and dull-witted...the unexposed to her firey and torrid intensity!

she gets such lovely tones out a solid-body electric guitar -
And nice to see her playful, enjoying herself - she is a performer, after all

I love seeing her. She is amazing. Just a little suggestion to the person who made this video. The voice is out of sync with the video sometimes.
