  • @ESCOwK i like your name;] ESko..one

  • @heytherestacy dats a short name for my city Escondido

  • this is real rap

  • What CD is this

  • @HI276 Typical Cats, its the CD and group name, their other cd that I know of is Civil Service.

  • I showed this to someone and they said it sucked because: "does it have heavy bass? No. Does it have cool metaphors? No. Does the dude have flow? No." And I laughed, because this kid says Lil Wayne and Drake are the best rappers ever. Obviously rap is about heavy bass and radio friendly beats, and annoying-ass-tuneless voices. -_-

  • @joshcaprai what they dont know is that the music industry is just out there to milk money out of them lol

  • @doncabron23 The fucked up thing is I think they do know they just don't care

  • @joshcaprai Doesn't have good metaphors? You should have showed him Cliche by them my favorite metaphor is "Yeah right i'm an asshole, you pussies ain't even half as tight".

  • i want this instrumental. please. get me this instrumental

  • If you guys are into Typical Cats.

    Listen to other Underground artists:

    Atmosphere

    Doseone

    Eyedea&Abilities

    Immortal Technique

    Murs etc..

    They're very lyrical.

  • @MursFan what about hieroglyphics?

  • @makattak88 them too.

  • @MursFan Basement Khemist, Lost Children of Babylon, Akbar, Diverse, Memphis reigns& Genelec, Lord F. The procussions etcc....

  • i copped this album about a year ago for 15 duckets off amazon. best 15 bucks i ever spent

  • Lyrical.

    Fuckin.

    Geniuses.

  • Typical Cats are ILL. I'm with you DrivenTrigger. The mainstream shit is nothing.

  • sick.

  • what you guys have to realize is most hip hop listeners today are too young for the early 90's scene that all this shit is based on. Hip hop isn't gone its just changed to suite the younger market. yeah its gay as fuck but it has nothing to do with skill anymore. just listen to old hiphop or find new guys like this, or listen to dubstep. stop rapping online about how amazing you are with that spaced out shit. its just as gay as pharrel and skinny jeans anyway so fuck.

  • @wisesire I was born in 96 and im still bumping the Underground G! Fuck that Commercial shit. I've been rhyming similar to this since last year. Once i hit 18, I'll probably be known. WOrd up. Fake the fame- Qwel.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but did they sample Bill Withers bass line in "Ain't No Sunshine"?

  • @TheJeffUnderground Dude. I definitely hear it. I'm gonna look up ain't no sunshine later...

  • Fuck winnin within the in crowd, crowd, Im INSANE/

Rappin from Hells Cellar! DEAFER than Helen. . .whats her name?/

Fuck the fame, sayin Im better! Hectic mic fetishes/

IM THE MOTHERFUCKING KING LIKE OEDIPUS!

  • @steezysnowbot thats how i was introduced.

  • People are just now listening to these guys? LMFAO fail on your part, and you say you listen to rap hahahahah

  • Ive been listening to these guys for a while, but i gotta disagree with your comment. Im sure theres a ton of dope shit out there that youve never heard and might not ever hear, for which someone could make that same comment to you.

  • dopeness

  • im gettin a hip hop overdose listennin to your vids amigo...each one i choose is real...the way it should be

  • dope

  • where can i find theyr albums at b??? idk where to download it from get at me! any one!!!

  • I hope they gain recognition for their work....

The mainstream needs to be exposed to music like this.........

  • @driventrigger

no if we expose real music this WILL become mainstream. I dont think you realize it but why share, lets just keep this to ourselves

  • bmxrider,

    Why share?

Because I am sick of people thinking that Lil Wayne or 50 Cent is everything rap/hip hop is all about.

People don't realize it's a lot deeper than that.

If you don't think they wouldn't want to be more well known you're living in a dream world buddy. :P

  • maby they know but they have opinions about music taht arent yours

  • @DrivenTrigger

The majority of people will think that anything is dope just because it's played on the radio twenty times a day, fuck that - cats dig for this shit, cats dig deep... It's called dedication if cats wanna listen to some dope shit then they best get their ears checked and fucking dig for it... And i'm sick of listening to dope shit only to see faggot ass 'rappers' listed in the comments section.

Underground is underground for a reason.

  • hella yeah

thank you finally someone understand about the differents between rap and underground

  • @dodahh18 you're forgeting something... most of the peopel who agree with radio music don't feel the need to search for dope shit because they like what they hear there. mainstream artists continue to give the people what they want - brainless crap. I know people like that, but when they're in my car they're all like "fuck man! who's that?". people have to get exposed to this. all that the radio is creating now is more wannabe gangsters, junkies, crime, violence. it needs to change.

  • Couldnt word it any better.

  • wouldnt you want this to be mainstream?real shit.

  • Hip Went is Underground Sonn.

  • you have a point

  • @bmxrider640 Sorry dude and I hate to say this but I'm keepin it real cuz Ive been listenin to typical cats since fuckin like 2000 but this music would never go mainstream no matter how much it is revealed it jus highlights the pathetic society we live in....listen to the music on the radio does it sounds anything like this? not a fuckin chance people rather listen to ppl rap about LOLLIPOPS and gettin head and fuckin bithces and material shit rather Mc's like these kats who have real skill

  • @Free411 its about clear channel keeping up profit income. the basic stuff that sells is music about sex, drugs, and violence. keep in mind the average radio listener doesnt want to think about cyphering out a rhyme for its meaning or look into hearing deep lyrical content. for the majority its about catchy hooks and club banger type beats. alltierations, metaphors, similies, are to complex for them. they want dumb shit like lollipops, are "tootin and bootin" type shit that makes no sense.

  • the whole song is beast

  • easily a perfect album CLASSIC i remember bein in middle school when this came out GOOD TIMES PEACE AND LOVE 1
