  • just perect!

  • Splendid!

  • this is really lovely interpretation. the speaker is beautiful too ;)

  • Very well read....5 stars!!! :)

  • Nice poem, but not nicely read. Thanks

  • This is a poem that must come from the heart with understanding, The mistake most people make is not commiting this to memory,

  • Wow. Thank you for sharing yourself with us, you gorgeous, poetic, soul.

  • One of my favourites too:)

  • Crepy

  • your so pretty :)

  • oh by the way DethMtl4life when you have the balls to recite this poem live for everyone to judge you just give us all a shout.....im sure we wont be critical

  • Hi lady; very good.

  • Wonderful ^^ Great Poem

  • FYI Rudyard Kipling was a racist and misogynist. So when he says "men" he is literally just refering to the men. And your voice made me want to puke. Thanks!

  • No he was not racist. What proof you have ?

  • Your tenth grade history teacher should fired. Rudyard Kipling wrote the very famous "White Man's Burden" which, while offering some very relevant historical insight into the turn of the twentieth century, argues that it is the duty of white men to assume the role of educating and civilizing non-western peoples. Maybe the term "cultural imperialism" comes to mind. Maybe it doesn't to an ignorant twit like you.

  • Please write properly. I am from India. Yes, English did help to give us democracy. They ended terrible custom of "Sati". Removed tyrinnical "Kings" from use. They gave us democracy. Kipling wrote another poem "Gunga DIn". Pleaseto read that. In that he says " You are a better man than me " to "Gunga Din"

  • Thanks for modeling the spirit of the poem. A man once told me, "Never argue with a fool. Onlookers may have trouble telling which is which." Not that you're a fool, Deth. Just temporarily behaving like one. It is foolish to point out the "faults" in others, for it is impossible to see, in the "outside" world, anything but your own reflection. Stand in front of the mirror and curse the reflection if you like, As Kipling pointed to, your rant has nothing to do with us.

  • DethMtl4life you are so stupid you must be an american.....i cant think of any other reason why you are such a twat......please prove me wrong

  • NIce reading, this poem makes no sense to me though!

    Its like

    Cheese

    Dog

    Diane!

  • slightly enthusiastic.. wrong tone?

  • pathetic reading..

  • ...brilliant, and you're beautiful too!

Right, that's it... want to get married to an English guy?

  • Actually... yes! Haha, just kidding, but I'm definitely a fan of England and English guys. ;-) Thanks!

  • wonderful poem beautiful women

  • she can give me head.....

  • o vjershen e sams piqku materina kush te shkrujti se se veq ramazan se te kisha rre shuplaka

  • that very well read..I liked it very much

  • Take no heed Livingpassion, let those that criticise step up to the plate and do half as well as you did! Then they can talk ! In my humble opinion your rendition was superb !

  • tell us a poem you wrote...

  • Babe you are GREAT. If you're not an actress you should be. You really bring the words to life.

  • Wow! Some ugly comments from the Islanders... don't worry about it, LP. Well done! Something you can show your children!

  • nobody wants to hear a mans poem that is written by a man to be preached by a girl

  • All men love to hear a pretty girl praise the virtue of Men!

  • yes all i said is that hes an actor. He reads the poem brilliantly

  • mike basset is a fake football manager (ricky tomlinson is the actor. Dave Bassett is a real football coach.

  • Acting and poetry reading are completely different arts.

  • very articulate

  • you over exaggerate and use fake passion its not great, i'm sure some americans can do it well. As i also said a males voice suits it better.

  • Well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

  • american i guess? and over emphasis on words doesnt flow enough in my opinion. Look up mike bassett

  • So an American can't read poetry because they don't have some other kind of accent? Rather silly.

  • And,isn't Mike Basset a football coach?

  • no no noo this is such an annoying accent. WOmen do this loads worse as well. Ricky Tomlinson does the best in Mike Bassett England Manager

  • Accent?

  • Never heard this in full! Thanks! :)

  • I've never heard this poem before. It's wonderful. Thank you for sharing it. You read it very well too.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • I will keep all this in mind,,*going to think now...5/5 from me my poet!

  • Thank you very much!

  • my fav poem thanks for posting and it was beautifuly read

  • Thanks for watching!

  • Stefani, so beautiful, your passions floweth once again. I love the lighting effect here too as if you are reading by light of candle. You take us back to the period of time.

  • "If" and "Invictus" are tied for my favorite.

  • ......that's actually an amazing poem. I've never really had a sense of awe before (when reading or listening to poetry), but that's quite worthy of awe. That's the kind of poetry one only dreams about writing.

  • nice reading :)

  • Another great reading ... Thanks

  • A well presented lesson.

  • Have you ever performed in a play? i think you should :)

  • Some of the soundest advice ever given. And quite well presented.

And now, I'm sorry, but a bad literature joke...

First man: Do you like Kipling?

Second man: I don't know, I've never Kipled.

  • My sweet poet,,,Beautiful poem,,so true!

  • Thanks poetess, as ever, that was beautifully read. I do think it's good to keep

reading classic poems. Those of us that love poetry are fighting, against great odds, to keep poetry alive and relevant in the 21st centaury. No surrender!

  • I love this poem and it applies to some things going on right now...

    Thanks for reading it here!
