  • Nice but to slow!

  • And the point of that was?

  • Cool!!

  • Awesome. Great work. Try to make the Oars to dip into the water more. It will move much faster. But overall. AWESOME!

  • well you could try to move the oars down so that it is pulled across the water quicker

  • Good ;)

  • The best way to propel a lego boat is putting inside an Lego Pneumatic Engine. It really powerful, fast and it's waterproof.

  • i made one wich goed deeper inside and wiuch goed much further, its gone 5 ties as fast as this one, also made speedboat, wich im still bussy on

  • i made one of those but it super failed.

  • it fell on the water? and got shock? :(

  • @legoman909 no. it just moved slower than a fat kid on a tread mill

  • theres actually movement coming from that fat kid? O_o

  • @Dirtboy101 lolz how?

  • perhaps you can try paddle wheels. Im working with them, but the boat hulls i have sink way to low in the water for the boat to go anywhere

  • maybe you could extend the oars into the water a bit

  • You could increase the speed with other, simplified and more effective mechanics.

  • OK, please, how I could improve my design?

I was thinking about it. But that is the best mechanics I could do within the boat dimensions and my set of pieces.

  • Hi

I think the key reason is the movement of the rows. The rows on your boat make a round (circular) movement. This means that they make the same way (distance) up and down like forward and backwards.

Now you have to make a mechanic which converts this round movement into an elliptic movement. Like this, the forward/backwards movement of the rows is increased, while the up/down movement is the same or decreased.

I'm building an example right now. I'll uploading a video tomorow.

  • @chasplas You should put the "flippers" more in the water so they can give more power.

and did you ever thought of a "Wheel" that spins in the water like the First Steam engine boats =D

  • @chasplas put bigger gears ang make paddles go in water more

  • It would prob work better with longer rowers or whatnot??

  • Exlenete trabajo, sigue produciendo para inspirar mayor creatividad.

    Hasta Lego

    Eryaguero

  • I would hate for that to fall over!

  • wow 3 inches an hour!

  • everything u made was impresive! u make me jelous

  • i had the same lego boat hull but no motor

    cool cool

  • thats realy cool

  • Qué friki, tío...
