  • anyone try to facebook search Jon Chaffee?

  • lol i wish I could go back and get some of that brand new 93 technology

  • @PhilM662 Why? I'm sure Goodwill has tech from the 90s if you wanna still live in the past.

  • @nintendogsyo wow, that's weird that you couldn't tell that that was a joke.

  • @PhilM662 Wow, that's weird that you couldn't tell that that was a joke. :P

  • I really miss this old commercial! I loved it!

  • it's pronounced chowda! i like boston accents

  • Circuit City SUCKED....Glad they're DOA

  • hey its Austin O' Brien at 1:22

  • R.I.P The 90's

  • And RIP Circuit City.

  • they had to move all their crap online

  • So then technically, they're not out of business (though their stores have already been liquidated)..right?

  • all the stores here have been closed. but they advertise online

  • "The "Circuit City" brand is now owned by Systemax, which uses the brand to sell electronics as an online retailer. On May 11, 2009, Systemax bought the brand, trademark and e-commerce business at an auction from Circuit City Stores, Inc. Systemax had earlier acquired CompUSA and TigerDirect which now operate as online retailers. Systemax in April 2009 signed a stalking horse agreement for $6.5 million which is an initial offer for a bankrupt company's assets." ~Wikipedia

  • I got laid in Circuit City 3 TIMES!!!

  • i went there today and it looked wierd becuase there were no tvs on the wall

  • REST IN HELL circuit city

  • You have obviously heard of Circuit city's Demise, come and watch "The disgruntled Circuit city associates." I hope you Enjoy and leave your input or possibly a memory you have had at the oldest retailer in the Nation.

    your friend Mig Vee

  • hahaha i remember the big red thing being pluged in.. ever time i go by a circuit city i think of that . it sucks they are going under

  • what's going to happend with my warranty?

  • no worry with your warranty we never had in house warranty they were always backed third party by Assurant Solutions

  • wow...i liked the "where services are state of the art" slogan...i think the main reason that circuit city failed is because it stopped focusing on customer value and enhancing services (in this they mentioned it as 'sales counseling')...if u compare to todays CCity commercials, they mainly focused on advertising lower prices and sales...but o well...i worked for ccity for a year and half as FD tech lead...& ive witnessed the terrible customer service happening...(i even had to save a few sales)

  • Ditto..that slogan should've been kept..not to mention the catchy jingle.

  • LOL...sorry couldnt help myself...lmao..

  • it's sad Circuit City is gone after 60 years...

  • Circuit City was the top performing stock of the 1980's.

  • If Circuit City today was like it was when these commercials were made, it probably wouldn't be going out of business right now, hah!

  • i hear you bro, they should have never got rid of commisioned sales i was a victim feb 5 2003 I say "serves them right"

  • man i miss the 90s

  • I want the 90s back dammit!

  • sans DVD, BLU RAY, PLASMA, LCD,DIGITAL TV'S

  • I've always liked Best Buy better. It wasn't so much a pricing issue, just a better selection of merchandise and a more fun atmosphere. They are closing the Circuit City at the Mall of GA and discounting all their merchandise. 30% off, whooptie-do! I can get a better deal on the same electronics on a regular friggin' sale day at other stores. I walked out so disgusted and glad they were closing.

  • electronics where made better in the 70's 80's 90s & they cost more too and they lasted longer the stuff they made now don't even last 5 yrs

circuitcity was one of the best stores in the 90's i dont remember there being a best buy where i live in until the late 90's

  • push it, click it, press it, click it; technologic. technologic.

  • I can see Circuit City's strategy has worked and it shows because they clearly dominate Best Buy now.

  • This, by far, is the best Circuit City ad campaign, the music and the song gets into your head and you can't stop singing it!

  • All of us in CompUSA's Business Services Department had ties up until last year that is lol :P

  • why is the manager wearing a tie lol they dont anymore

  • that was a sale associate not a manager

  • haha one goal... to please the customer... HAHAHAHAHA yeah i work there and i dont think they're very pleased at all with our customer service haha it sucks

  • Very cool! Loved hearing SunSpots voice talent Charlie Glaize doing the voiceover at one point. I learned the voiceover "smile" from listening to Charlie do those Circuit commercials on tv and radio.

  • I miss that jingle.

  • Whats granny gonna do with that Boom-box?

  • damn i remember them commercials i was mad little

    good ol' days...lol

  • Welcome to Circuit City. Where Service is State of the Art

  • I remember these commercials and the slogan, too! Wow. I kinda miss those.

  • how to find such a song.....hmm

  • man i missed that commercial

  • That's a Kenwood KM-208 preamp in the beginning of the "theme song" I have that full Kenwood system amp/preamp/tuner/etc....wow.

  • Many thanks for posting this!

The "anthem" commercial from 1989 is one of the best ever done (starts at 00:59 and runs to about 1:12).

Does anybody have the full version of "just" that?

  • Ahh how times have changed.
