  • Le début il est mortel.

  • Thanks man! Can you please send me a PM? I cant on mobile but I can reply.

  • SG maybe?

  • @iamgreyhound There are two brands that I cherish to play metal. ESP (I have the Horizon FRII) and Ibanez (my RG2550 and RG350), also I use a Jackson RR5 but the two previous I told you are the best in my opinion. Ibanez made -a long time ago- SG guitars, in the 70's mainly. So I would recommend you an ESP-LTD, either the Viper 100 on which you can upgrade pickups, or (and this is better) a good second-hand Viper 300 guitar. Send me a PM, we can talk about it much easier :)

  • any particular Ibanez model in the same range?

  • @iamgreyhound You have any body shape preference ?

  • I've Saved enough for The AV6. Good choice against heavy ibanezs?

  • @iamgreyhound There isn't much difference except esthetics and slightly different controls between the different AV guitars, and overall the Greg Bennett guitars in their series. The AV6 doesn't worth its price in comparison to its "little sisters" AV1, AV2, etc. Overall, a little mid-range Ibanez will kick any Greg Bennett guitar's ass ! More versatility, playability, and a lifetime guitar. I would recommend you a good Ibanez guitar. These GB guitars are for occasionnal player.

  • Hey thanks for the reply mate!

How about the Ibanez ART120 then?

  • @iamgreyhound My pleasure !

The ART120 is a nice guitar :) Powerful and quite versatile sound, also stays in tune very well and comfortable to play ! Definitely go with it if you can ;D

  • I plan to buy the AV3 is it a good guitar compared to ibanez?

  • @iamgreyhound Better than any lowest Ibanez GIO guitar (GRG170, GAX30, GSA60; GRGA42T...). But any higher Ibanez model (RGR321, S470, ARZ...)

The AV3 is still a good guitar, but nothing compared to any mid-range Ibanez guitar.

  • Great!

Check my review of the samick av-1 and subsribe please!

    Thanks!

  • i have one of these. they are pretty awesome and the price is right man. i just got it for €280. that is nothing for a great guitar

  • @zebi62mr Yep, nice price/quality ;) Also a pretty good base for upgrades !

  • i have one of these guitars and i play it through my randall rh150 g3 and a peavy cab with sheffilds in it and sounds grate...im gana replace the pickups w/emg 81's but all in all it plays very well, infact it plays beter then my san demas charvell...the neck is realy comfortable and easy to do runs...the only prob i had was the pots were fouled up and got alot of noise out of the pickups...has anyone had that same problem??

  • @nuckleduster66 Well just cable it properly and armor the cavities fine. Also if needed you can directly change the pots ;)

But normally, as your gonna put on a set of EMG's, you'll have to redo the wiring so it'll solve your problem ^^

  • @k0nrad69 Yep, pretty good guitar for anyone who wants to begin guitare playing ! Quite polyvalent and comfortable to play ^^

    Thanks for watching

  • Got mine along w/ a Peavey Envoy 110 and a RP50 for $150 in a pawn shop when I visited Tennessee.

I like it, but I'm probably going to get an Ibanez or something soon

  • @xMyNameIsMike Go with the Ibanez (if you have any question or need advise, you can ask me ^^), these Greg Bennett guitars are just beginner stuff.

  • @namohasan I picked up a AV3 last week. I was comparing it to the other guitars and it was a whole other class of good compared to the some of the $400-$600 epi les pauls. I pcked mine up for $180 to.

  • @Mrfunnyrainbow Epi les paul are...shitty (imo), rock on ;)

  • dude, i'm in a shitty situation. i'm in a metalcore/melodeath band and im on a very low budget (what do u expect? i'm from poland lol) and i have narrowed down my choices to this guitar and a Dean Vendetta TXM. Can you help me out here? because i need someone to tell me if this guitar has enough sharpness and tone for bridge humbuckin' metalcore, with good palm mutes.

  • @FlushingTurd Well I would not recommend you that guitar for metalcore like music, it's not that much appropriate, unless you buy a good pedal with it, which will reduce your budget. And it's better to put as much as possible in the guitar to get good quality, of course.

If you don't mind can you please tell me your budget ?

  • @namochasn i know right im really gad i got it

  • i bought that same one from a pawn shop for 180 bucks sounds great and came with seymour duncans

  • @mrfantasticification Nice, you made a great deal =)

  • i have the same guitar same colour and i love the s greg benett sign :D

  • This and Vintage V100 are better than Epi LP Standard / some Custom.

    Sorry for bad English.

  • YYyeeeahhhh)))))Cool guitar, i have same guitar , but she is red)))))

  • @Dragon48RUS =D

  • hey... dowsnt it make a high pithched feedback?? when in treble mode???

  • I don't really get what you mean (I'm french ^^) but the only thing when I'm in treble is that we can hear the echo more than in rythm ^^

  • @TheSARNG i got an av3 and it makes a high pitch feedback when u turn the tone all the way up.

  • @usetheforce93 Not mine.

  • I have the avion7. in italy I payed it 355euros...is very easy to play and very beautiful...cool sound

  • hey i wanna buy this guitar but do u recomend it as a good guitar?

  • Yes I recommend it, it's very comfortable to play and sounds really good =)

  • dude how muchis this in us dollars? XD

  • Well it's about $300 sir =P

  • thanks dude=D

  • Salut !
