Her position is contradictory. You can't say "no matter the cause, we have to fix this problem". Because, in order to fix the problem, you have to identify the cause first. It's like treating a disease. You can't just ignore the cause and just say...ok lets fix this. The first step to treatment is always diagnosis...and so we have to "diagnose" or discern, if you will, what is responsible for global warming. But...it's Palin so I have low expectations to begin with

This is a molecule made of 1 Nitrogen and 1 oxygen. This gas is colorless. In fact, oxygen is a colorless gas. Nitrogen is a colorless gases. My point is that MANY gases are colorless. What you are probably thinking is that the exhaust emission isnt dark so how can it make the air dirty and hard to see through...

Just observing. The last ice-age happened about 20,000 years ago, I think. It wasn't a major one, but nevertheless, glacial (ice-ages) and their following interglacial (earth-warming) periods happen consistently and often (In relativity to the age of the earth, that would be). MAJOR ice-ages only happen every few million years, to the extent of our knowledge. So 'the last ice age' doesn't really make sense to me..

Global Warming is fake. The is no scientific evidence linking pollution to the ice melt or "unnatural" weather. No scientist has ever backed this. There was even an email sent to or from Al gore very roughly saying " don't let anyone know that we have no actual evidence linking humans to Global Warming". CO2 absorbs long wave radiation, absorption of radiation results in retention of energy, this results in heat. Pretty basic physics there. We emit a lot of CO2 that took the earth million of years to sequester and have no corresponding carbon sink when nature was in relative balance in regards to emissions and sinks.

Her position is contradictory. You can't say "no matter the cause, we have to fix this problem". Because, in order to fix the problem, you have to identify the cause first. It's like treating a disease. You can't just ignore the cause and just say...ok lets fix this. The first step to treatment is always diagnosis...and so we have to "diagnose" or discern, if you will, what is responsible for global warming. But...it's Palin so I have low expectations to begin with

This is a molecule made of 1 Nitrogen and 1 oxygen. This gas is colorless. In fact, oxygen is a colorless gas. Nitrogen is a colorless gases. My point is that MANY gases are colorless. What you are probably thinking is that the exhaust emission isnt dark so how can it make the air dirty and hard to see through...

Just observing. The last ice-age happened about 20,000 years ago, I think. It wasn't a major one, but nevertheless, glacial (ice-ages) and their following interglacial (earth-warming) periods happen consistently and often (In relativity to the age of the earth, that would be). MAJOR ice-ages only happen every few million years, to the extent of our knowledge. So 'the last ice age' doesn't really make sense to me..

I've researched this stuff for years, even tracking down raw data from Argentinian weather stations - you'll be surprised to learn that there were huge gaps in the data. Months without records that were 'estimated' by others. I searched down actual weather stations to see that they were moved into 'Urban Heat Islands.'
But it's irrelevant. The American people don't buy AGW and now Solar-gate will put a nail in the coffin. Game over.

I've researched the claims of urban heat islands and the assertions that they're used for absolute temperatures....which just so you know, they are not, they are in fact calibrated using other weather stations not affected by urban heat island as pointed out by NOAA when wattsupwiththat attempted to assert that this was a serious issue. @garith21 It seems like the 'former skeptic' has unzipped himself(insert 'shudder'). You 'Warm-ers' always assume that anyone who disagrees with you does it out of some kind of mental defect. I always assume that people who fall for it are simply misinformed, until they unzip themselves as hacks.
Every scientific belief I have is one laboratory experiment away from being discarded. Assuming that the Scientific Method is being used with transparent methods and repeatable results.

Yet the results are repeatable and have been repeated and the methods are transparent, even raw data where some people claiming to be skeptic are available in links in the very paper they're claiming to use FOIA on to obviously waste people's time when they can just visit the link. I'm still waiting for you to object to the basic physics of the matter which is what a majority of AGW is to begin with, yet you won't touch it with a 10 ft pole and continue using logical fallacies

@garith21 The Warm-ers have turned science on it's head. First there is some nonsensical theory that disregards the Scientific Method, then you get a 'consensus' that it's true. After this you use 'peer review' to stymie dissent and demand that your theory must be held with stare decisis until incontrovertible evidence is found to the contrary.
You Leftists have pulled the same crap with a number of theorems . Thankfully, the majority of the US population hasn't fallen for it.

Yet there's many lines of evidence that indicate the cause is green house gases, the mechanism is known, and peer review has been followed. If you're talking about the soon/baleonus paper the only reason why it was objected to is because it was so poorly written it shouldn't have even made it past peer review, editors of the journal actually quit when they weren't allowed to even respond to the bad piece.

What (if anything) has the REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED Congress done for the American People since they took power? Has there been ANYTHING for the average working American that we can attribute to REPUBLICAN leadership?
It looks to me like Republicans are assuring FAILURE instead of success, out of fear the President may get credit for improving life for Americans. What evidence is there that Republicans are trying to help at all? Their main obsessions corporate welfare and faith-based hate.

lol, global warming in this case is only dealing with the last few decades, if it's a "natural phenomenon" please do tell what the mechanism is. Keep in mind that it's been rising through out several solar cycles and several ENSO cycles both of which are only short term mechanisms and not ones that would affect climate over multiple decades.

Global Warming is fake. The is no scientific evidence linking pollution to the ice melt or "unnatural" weather. No scientist has ever backed this. There was even an email sent to or from Al gore very roughly saying " don't let anyone know that we have no actual evidence linking humans to Global Warming". It was just a way for them to get money and was a great story to make up but the fact of the matter is that you are wasting your money trying to fight something that isn't there.....

CO2 absorbs long wave radiation, absorption of radiation results in retention of energy, this results in heat. Pretty basic physics there. We emit a lot of CO2 that took the earth million of years to sequester and have no corresponding carbon sink when nature was in relative balance in regards to emissions and sinks.
