Man, I just read on the Dead Space wiki that the Necromorph that attacks Lexine is actually McNeil. That sucks, but I guess it explains how Weller was able to marry her, considering how over the course of this game, Lexine makes it very clear that she hates Weller.

Really enjoyed that, thank you for posting this. I definitely think this is more immersive than darkside chronicles, but I think the game would have been better from a story-telling aspect if it was designed in the format of Dead Space and Dead Space 2. That exploration aspect of the other two games, combined with the feeling of loneliness are what made the other two games so great.

Nate just died sooner on and so did gabe. gabe married Lexi so i don't know what happened there because gabe and lexi would've been dead. Well..gabe would've been cause lexi shot the pistol. Anyway if tyou want to know more look up dead space 2 severed. You'll find lexi and gabe. maybe nate.
I honestly don't think the necromorph that attacked Lex in the shuttle is Nath. The infestion requires the person to be dead before it can turn them. As far as I know, there has been no one that got turned while they are still alive and except for the missing arm, he wasn't in bad shape, at least he didn't seem like he was close to dying.
Since we know Gebe survived for another three years, it most likely that the final necromorph snuck on board the shuttle somehow.
Well they were gonna get fucked over if they went to the Sprawl anyways but that would have been a neet if they lived and made it to the Sprawl and you meet up with them and they helped you beat Dead space 2.
It is definatly nate becuase even though the necromorph has two arms, if you look at the first guy who gets kiled at the begining of dead space, you see that it's arms come out of the guys shoulders.
It was probably nate, gabe lives and so does Lexine.Plus since the cells of necromorphs replicate through dead cells even a bit of necro blood on nate's stump could infect him.
Then again the transformation would have taken a while and they should have noticed it and the slasher had two arms so it was probably just a marker induced dream.

I can only say that perhaps, Gabe woke up from his sleep and shot Necro-Nate. Thoughts?

lexine and gave isn't dead. There will be a DLC for dead space 2 called (Dead space 2: "Severed" , you will play as gabe, and try to get yourself(gabe) and lexine to safety. It will include 2 chapters. It will be released later this year
gabe and lex are alive, you play with them in the next dead space game coming in march or april. i saw some screenshots of the game and you can see gabe wearing a badass armor. the game will take place at the same time as the main storyline in ds2. and yeah nate is dead T_T
@XxXOmegaPivotXxX honestly i doubt that it isnt coming to the pc, they are just waiting for some reason, probably to make money. the PC would most likely get it for free whereas consoles have to pay, and they know that if they initially release only on consoles the people who would be more inclined to get it for the pc would have to get it for console to play it.
If you notice at the end, the necromorph has 2 arms with a hand on each, hinting that it's weller, also, it seems to stagger upwards from where weller went to sleep at. Also, if he got shot in the head, that wouldn't kill any necro instantly, so I don't think lexine survived.

I looked closely at the part when they're running into the ship the creatures ( I don't play DS but I do know some stuff) if you looked close an infector got on Board the ship because they didnt pay attention and therefore I believe the guy you play as got infected. Also some of the flashes before the necromorph attack that chick there was a quick glimps of an infector attacking someone
If they are going to the Sprawl(I think Weller says "I've never been so happy to be going to the sprawl")then that means the ending was not a dream and Nate got infected through his missing limb and killed Lexine and Weller then came to the Sprawl and infected that
Don't remember who actually transformed into a necro, but I don't think it was the guy missing the hand... It's up to you whether you believe it or not, but right when the necro is about to kill the girl you see her reach for the pistol and then the flash of white. It's debatable whether she actually died or not.

the sprawl is from dead space 2 so is that how the incident happened after extraction and dead space 1 is that they picked up the shuttle from the extraction game and they have been attacked and now all hell breaks loos in dead space 2.
I know exactly how dead space 2 is gonna happen.......at 0:12 we never really saw if the door closed could it be possible that one of those thing flew in and infected the guy just like in downfall....and since the ship was already on auto pilot directly towards the sprawl it could have took 3 years to reach the sprawl where issac is located and it crashes there and the necromorphs start infecting people and dun dun dun dead space 2

i think i know how this relates dead space one, when that military ship receives the distress beacon they say that "we have also recieved your escape pod" which was carrying them...well whatever was left of them after that necromorph got em, then the infection broke out on that ship and ever one died = D

Of course, It might just be a nightmare vision. I mean, the strongest evidence I’ve heard was that there was a heartbeat in the Necro vision b/c each “freak out moment” has a heartbeat. I really don’t know.
But, everything will be made clear in about one month, hopefully. I hope all three of them are alive.
I’d like to believe that it was some stow away Infector who aimlessly wandered in the Shuttle (since the freakin door was open the whole time throughout the game) and hid until Weller passed by and attacked him, turning him into a Slasher. Necros have been known to wander aimlessly, if there is no one to kill, and hide, waiting for someone to come by and surpise attack them. Even slashers play dead and BAM your dead.
Now, as to what just happened at the end. I’ve heard a lot of clues that can point to Weller or Nate being a Necro, or just a stow away Necro. If I had to choose b/w them both I’d say Weller b/c the Necro has two arms with hands and Nate doesn’t, and it ends with Weller falling asleep and waking up as a Necro. Even though none of them got infected by an infector, there could be some other way of being infected. If they were, that infector could have been Nate who attacked and infected Weller.
Now, I think that the Sprawl will be infected because I saw an image of the Ishimura docked on the Sprawl, and since Dead Space 2 takes place around 3 years later, it can’t be Lexine’s crew.
You know what happend right? At the end, since ther was no bat thing to turn him, he was all like "Mwuhahaha! I was a necromorph all along!" PLOT TWIST!

If you understand the Dead Space story well enough you will know that everyone who is near the marker becomes infected ( Thats why Isaac Keeps seeing Nicole in Deap Space)

@DuvArts I have been chosen to multi closed beta and on the splecial forum there are informations what happened. Isaac survived but has been put into a psyhiatric hospital because of events on ishimura. I have seen exclusive vid showing that isaac looks out of the window and there it is
@Tatkitten I agree with this, unfortunately, as much as I'd rather it not be. He is the last person who's eyes we see through, and then the first flash we see is of his dead team. The shot with the Infector jumping on a body is partially from first-person--I bet one was hiding in the back of that shuttle. Hell, the door was open for the entire level, one could have snuck in.
My HOPE is that it's just a delusion, however--something like Isaac had at the end of Dead Space. Fingers crossed...
also i really liked the cast of this game. im sure they are all alive there is no such thing as spontanious necromation so im sure it was the captain guy having a nightmare. wouldnt dought it after the shit he went though

If they are going to the Sprawl(I think Weller says "I've never been so happy to be going to the sprawl")then that means the ending was not a dream and Nate got infected through his missing limb and killed Lexine and Weller then came to the Sprawl and infected that

Don't remember who actually transformed into a necro, but I don't think it was the guy missing the hand... It's up to you whether you believe it or not, but right when the necro is about to kill the girl you see her reach for the pistol and then the flash of white. It's debatable whether she actually died or not.

@AngelMikey22 um ya. the only way people can turn into a necromorph is if they get directly exposed to the weird crap on the ishimura or if an infector actually infects you. unless an infector got on the ship the attack was just a hallucination.

the sprawl is from dead space 2 so is that how the incident happened after extraction and dead space 1 is that they picked up the shuttle from the extraction game and they have been attacked and now all hell breaks loos in dead space 2.

I know exactly how dead space 2 is gonna happen.......at 0:12 we never really saw if the door closed could it be possible that one of those thing flew in and infected the guy just like in downfall....and since the ship was already on auto pilot directly towards the sprawl it could have took 3 years to reach the sprawl where issac is located and it crashes there and the necromorphs start infecting people and dun dun dun dead space 2

As for how the sprawl got infected play the demo of Dead Space 2 and pay attention to the intro and u will have a good idea of how the sprawl got infected

i think i know how this relates dead space one, when that military ship receives the distress beacon they say that "we have also recieved your escape pod" which was carrying them...well whatever was left of them after that necromorph got em, then the infection broke out on that ship and ever one died = D

Of course, It might just be a nightmare vision. I mean, the strongest evidence I’ve heard was that there was a heartbeat in the Necro vision b/c each “freak out moment” has a heartbeat. I really don’t know.
But, everything will be made clear in about one month, hopefully. I hope all three of them are alive.

I’d like to believe that it was some stow away Infector who aimlessly wandered in the Shuttle (since the freakin door was open the whole time throughout the game) and hid until Weller passed by and attacked him, turning him into a Slasher. Necros have been known to wander aimlessly, if there is no one to kill, and hide, waiting for someone to come by and surpise attack them. Even slashers play dead and BAM your dead.

Now, as to what just happened at the end. I’ve heard a lot of clues that can point to Weller or Nate being a Necro, or just a stow away Necro. If I had to choose b/w them both I’d say Weller b/c the Necro has two arms with hands and Nate doesn’t, and it ends with Weller falling asleep and waking up as a Necro. Even though none of them got infected by an infector, there could be some other way of being infected. If they were, that infector could have been Nate who attacked and infected Weller.

Now, I think that the Sprawl will be infected because I saw an image of the Ishimura docked on the Sprawl, and since Dead Space 2 takes place around 3 years later, it can’t be Lexine’s crew.

from the looks of it, it look like gabe weller is starting to have a dream, because people couldn't sleep when they found the marker, sleeping pills didn't do well

If you understand the Dead Space story well enough you will know that everyone who is near the marker becomes infected ( Thats why Isaac Keeps seeing Nicole in Deap Space)

@DuvArts I have been chosen to multi closed beta and on the splecial forum there are informations what happened. Isaac survived but has been put into a psyhiatric hospital because of events on ishimura. I have seen exclusive vid showing that isaac looks out of the window and there it is

@Tatkitten I agree with this, unfortunately, as much as I'd rather it not be. He is the last person who's eyes we see through, and then the first flash we see is of his dead team. The shot with the Infector jumping on a body is partially from first-person--I bet one was hiding in the back of that shuttle. Hell, the door was open for the entire level, one could have snuck in.
My HOPE is that it's just a delusion, however--something like Isaac had at the end of Dead Space. Fingers crossed...
