  • Nice cut-down of the awards, but you should really tone down the volume on background music in future videos about 20-30%.. or don't use any. Like this its misplaced, intrusive and kind of annoying.

  • I have always had a feeling that the oscars are made only to promote the dumbest movies seriosly the hurt locker didnt have any unique plot or anything its just ... no comment

  • Quentin Tarantino should have won for best original screenplay, my theory is that once it was decided that the hurt locker would win best picture and best director they decided to change the winner of best screenplay to the hurt locker so it would win all 3 big awards of the night, i'd like to think the academy wasnt like this but i have been proven wrong about this in the past, who do you think should have won AG?

  • @cbfdxbxsb I was expecting Tarantino to win. His script was better and way more creative than Hurt Locker. The Oscars have a lot of politics running behind it, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

  • I didn't watch the oscars (for several obvious reasons). Did they have a tribute to Britany Murphy on there? Also I'm still wondering why a film like Ponyo from Studio Ghibli didn't at least get nominated for Best Animated Film, awesome movie.

  • One thing I didn't like was the fact that everything in award shows has to light up now a days like a giant mac. Also I alwasy wondered if there was an internet back in like the 60's and 70's would we have people saying Annie Hall shouldn't have won because it wouldn't last longer then Star Wars (I'm not saying you are wrong about The Hurt Lock, I would just be curious).

  • I was a tad pissed when they put Michael Jackson up there and not Farrah Fawcett. How could they honestly do that?

  • michael jackson did direct his music videos, right? and he was an actor in "the wiz"

  • No and not really.

  • @AGentertainment He was in Moonwalker, though. So he had one actual movie.

  • Michael Jackson is/was considered a "performer" So, I guess that would include "acting" BUT, I do agree that if you had to put MJ in a catagory, *I* would put him in Musician and NOT Actor.

    Agree with ya 100% 1:35 - 3:32.

LOL And DAAAAMN! Anyone see George Clooney's face when Steve and Alec made a joke on him?...LOL He looked like he wanted to kick the shit out of'em.

  • i like movies and all but i'm not a big fan of movies and for 1 reason that get really fast i think they a award thing like the oscars but its not all about the movies like they should something like best book best video game best t.v show best movie but not like let revolve on 1 type of thing

  • I don't really care about anything else, just about Neil Patrick Harris. Hell yes.

  • I have to admit, despite my reservations about Avatar, I was upset by their taunts about Avatar. It was an okay movie, but it did feel like it stood no chance.

I was pumped about Hurt Locker though. I would not have been happy to see Avatar win, though.

  • Did you have any thought on the Horror tribute? I`m still wondering why they put Twilight in it

  • I actually said something about that but cut it. I said it was put in there also to appeal to a younger audience. It seemed so out of place.

And the Twilight clip was the most frightening clip of the bunch, so I don't know why you're wondering about it.

  • MJ was an actor. Can anyone say Captain EO?

  • I guess he was in THIS IS IT... oh wait...

  • He did do Moonwalker, but that was really just a 90 minute music video. Forgetting Farrah Fawcett was something to get outraged over. There were lots of weird things that went on during this year's Oscars, thanks for your thoughts.

  • They also forgot the lady from the Golden Girls. Even I forgot about her :(

  • I hated Avatar and Im happy that he did not win

  • Wait... You mean to tell me that the drama film that went under everyone's radar until about a few weeks before the show won Best Picture?

    *GASP* What a shock!

  • Again, this movie will be forgotten in five years. Avatar should have won. The world saw it and was captivated by it.

  • The show was boring. I was disappointed.

  • I fell asleep last year actually...If I were James Cameron, I would've been like

"F you, My movie made more money than Hurt Locker will ever make."

Even though Hurt Locker was a good movie, It's bullshit thay they won. Something like Avatar should of won for something like BEST PICTURE just because it actually looked pretty good depsite the story. In Hurt Locker i was in a constant state of Paronia whether the damn guy would blow up or not.

  • I only say Avatar should have won Best Picture because Hurt Locker will be forgotten in five or ten years.

  • Yeah, I hated that little dance number they did. Only because it was tooo LOOOONNNNGGG!!!

  • SOOOOO LONG
