@bluewulv DN3D isn't free, you have to buy it. DukePlus is a modification so it requires the original game to function.

@nucleareactor007 No, you can play EDuke32 using the old 8-bit render. EDuke32 is superior to DOSBox in pretty much all ways - no need to use that anymore.

That cycloid emperor did surprisingly well; I've never seen him fire from that angle before but then again that's because there was nothing else for him to hit till now that is :D

Mind you one thing that always bothered me about the original fight with this guy was it was just too easy due the wide open area; however in the day I did find him harder though because I never really adapted strafing and only ever got into strafing when I played Unreal tournament etc.

I downloaded the Dukeplus program and everything works fine but could you please tell me how did you select the battlelords to be your allies or tell me where should i go in the dukeplus menu cuz i searched everywhere and i couldn't anywhere :(
