Beautiful smallmouth, ignore the haters that are too retarded to put 2 and 2 together. Dropshotting is simple. Cast out, let sinker fall, jiggle tip without moving sinker, try to mimic a fish's movement.

I dont think thats a pure smallmouth, its definatly got some spotted bass markings on him. Its gotta be a hybrid, otherwise called a meanmouth. Very nice bass though!

Also when that water gets into the 50s, theres another technique that works really well, can easily get 20-30 fish days with it. Have you ever heard of the float and fly?

Hi click on the arrow down tap in the discription box for full details. Early spring I like to shake the rod tip rapidly more and pause for like 10 seconds then shake rapidly then pause for 10 seconds. continue all the way back to the boat.
