  • S4: we use 6" tsunami swimbaits. They work really well! Although the South Florida water management district has managed to kill all the vegetation in this lake. It's not the same as when I took this video. It's been taken over by catfish and is now a murky mess.

  • This video is amazing. Those are some big shad. If you didn't say they were bass busting, I would have thought this was filmed on the intracoastal in saltwater!

  • GET UR POLE MAN!!!!!!!!

  • What state was this in?

  • Its in south Florida

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick !!! q:D

  • thats wat i want to see

  • That really brings back memories. Thanks! There is this nearby state lake that at one time was full of threadfin and gizzards. Before the state decided they were a problem and got rid of them, you could go out there during the summer and early fall months and motor out to one of the many shallow flats. The shad were always there. A big black mass all over the shoal. Soon, the stripe and largemouths would move in and wreak havoc on top. A Cotton Cordell Crazy Shad usually did the trick.

  • Nice! Sorry to hear they screwed your lake. Im working on a camera mount for the Gheenoe. Hopefully Ill have some new vids up this winter.

  • dude, WHERE is your rod at?

  • At that point in the day we had already landed over 40 fish. Decided to start filming instead.
