does'nt matter what it is mi amigo, an artform IS what it IS irrespective of type or genre, wether its flamenco, d&b, classical, incredible playing or rubish playing or or none of the above!

i know what its like to play on this miserable island lol! not thought of using the outer joints on the fingers like that it sounds really wicked and u manage to do it at great speed. impressed mate, someday your name will be in lights saying simon hayden tonight ;)
The rhythms aren't drum 'n' bass at all. These are more about 16th triplets and sort of swung stuff...electronic music is all about straight 16ths, sometimes at fast speeds
Yeah I remember the time when d'n'b was all about "straight 16ths, sometimes at fast speeds". Like Limewax and Tech Itch who've never done this shit, and used to do all types of rhythms... D'n'b isn't ONE thing... Not to mention that all it is now is techno with more accent on the snares than on hi-hats. So explain to me this - what the fuck are you on? Dumb self indulgent moron...
wow wow wow easy with the names man... i know dnb isnt just straight 16ths but its not stupid to say there are lots of str8 16ths in it - thats what i had in mind. read carefully and think before calling someone a moron :)
well it sounds kinda spanish and stuff but the truth is the first time i heard this i thought it was a melody that goes over a dnb beat... so yeah its probably dnb influenced.
c'mon guys, I can understand from the comments that the video probably has a slightly misguided title, but considering all the sound is coming from a solo played guitar its not a bad take on a drum and bass vibe!
You are such a fool. Where is the bass then? all i hear are bongos....no snare drums (which is what d'n'b use) You'll never win this argument, there's too many dnb fans out there who actually know something about music
you are the fool, there is no bongos here it is all done on one guitar by hitting out the rhythms while playing his guitar simultainiously. as if you are going to recreate real bass sounds and snare sounds from an acoustic guitar. its obviously in the style of drum and bass otherwise there would either be a computor, drum machine or a set of drums and a bass player! weirdo!
sure am glad that speaker was in the way, I hate being able to see everything they're doing. (ha ha) Seriously though, he's a great player - his percussive sounds are VERY authentic - looking forward to hearing more !!
Love this. Check out my dubstep guitar videos

hiya dude, its just beating the guitar whilst trying to pluck outside in this windy damp island!
basically my thumb used to act as kick drum and the top outer joints of the fingers as the snare!
I havent played that style for a while tho!
Studio version of this track is on 2006 album 'Nylon...for now' and also coming out on a live album from the Coventry Jazz Festival in 2005.
anyway cheers for the comment!

That's one great guitarist. It's nowhere near DnB, this is just flamenco/jazz. Great music, but no DnB.

Ya sry about that. But if that's the case then why can't this be d'n'b influenced. The though here is the accents and downbeats are similar to d'n'b.
