@TheElephant2009 because cable is extremely broken with viper shot, thanos hypers where way too over powered, and if they where to choose a symbiote it wouldn't be venom it would most likely be carnage or scream if their cocky and they didn't want mvc 2.5 this is 3 so their tapping into over looked characters or people you wouldn't see in a fighting game normally and daredevil would come off as an omega red fighting styled char to me and Ghost rider has that spot already but i could be wrong
@skysheimi Well, in his first two games he was basically the hero of the Ghoul Realm and saved it from....even more evil demons, but the first one ends with him being given permission to invade Earth and a shot of him leaping through a burning city. So he's a good guy to demons, but to humans, not so much. And in the third one he was a straight antihero.

We unanimously on the same page that MVC3 needed an update but an update so fucking soon in the game's life cycle. MVC3 came out February 15th of this year and November 15th is the release date for this one...are you bloody kidding me Capcom? LOL they might be another update next year the rate Capcom is going..I may get this used and enjoy 3rdstrike online until a definitive version of this game comes out.

Wrong, Firebrand is a specific character from that race of Demons called the Red Arremers. He is the main hero of the Gargoyle's Quest games on GB and Demon's Crest on SNES. He's actually got a lot behind him as a character, especially in Demon's Crest.
@ConkerfanX yes while it is true that he had his own game (which me playing it religously on the GB when i was 12 I should have remembered) it's first appearance was ghosts and goblins he wasn't it was know as red arremer at the time much like jumpman from donkey kong becoming mario. plus he dosent have any of his forms from the game.

The only one I remotely agree on is Mega Man. Venom I'd only be OK with if it were the Flash Thompson Venom like Marvel originally intended. Rumor's abound that Capcom did want Venom in, but it was Eddie Brock. When they didn't agree with Marvel, Marvel cut the character off completely.
As for Gambit, hell no I don't want another X-Men, we've got enough already. Besides I also heard that Capcom didn't want anymore X-Men either.
@nepomusik well if you dont want another xmen then they should take out X23 for gambit since its a replica of wolverine or sentinel...there you go (MVC2 had 17 xmen characters now thats alot) it should be cool if they added Jin (towel guy), Hayato (light saber dude), blackheart, and anaris (mummy looking character)
X-23 I'm torn on since I actually do like the character, plus she plays pretty differently enough from Wolverine. Sentinel I've always hated so yeah if he were replaced by Gambit I'd be fine. Jin and Hayato are ones that can be good (though I'm pretty much fine with what we've got). Blackheartwould be great to have back on the grounds that Ghost Rider is here. Ankaris is from Darkstalkers and eh, not too keen on.
I couldn't help but give side eye to how all of those skulls just disappeared at the start. Couldn't Capcom have had them vanish in a puff of smoke, or roll off the screen or some shit!? *continues to nit pick and give side eye*
Being a big demon's crest player myself I honestly can't put my finger on it from any of the trailers past all the shouting and punching. If I had to guess its a GnG remix or it might possibly be a heavily guitar remix of "Legend of the Firebrand" from Demon's Crest.
Personally I was hoping for a bad ass remix of Memorial of the Fallen myself.

Wrong, Firebrand is a specific character from that race of Demons called the Red Arremers. He is the main hero of the Gargoyle's Quest games on GB and Demon's Crest on SNES. He's actually got a lot behind him as a character, especially in Demon's Crest.

@ConkerfanX yes while it is true that he had his own game (which me playing it religously on the GB when i was 12 I should have remembered) it's first appearance was ghosts and goblins he wasn't it was know as red arremer at the time much like jumpman from donkey kong becoming mario. plus he dosent have any of his forms from the game.

@Battossai3000 I can understand gambit his assist where use full and ROYAL FLUSH was just epic but WHY MegaMan is it because Zero bodies teams on his own because I have yet seen a reason for the blue bomber to be in this just to look at him and NO ONE USE HIM AT ALL Give me Jin Ken or Captain Commando, hell give me Juri for capcom over megaman i think everyone is getting to worked up about it just because zero is so good in his own way and venom web would be cool to see on UMVC3

The only one I remotely agree on is Mega Man. Venom I'd only be OK with if it were the Flash Thompson Venom like Marvel originally intended. Rumor's abound that Capcom did want Venom in, but it was Eddie Brock. When they didn't agree with Marvel, Marvel cut the character off completely.
As for Gambit, hell no I don't want another X-Men, we've got enough already. Besides I also heard that Capcom didn't want anymore X-Men either.

@nepomusik well if you dont want another xmen then they should take out X23 for gambit since its a replica of wolverine or sentinel...there you go (MVC2 had 17 xmen characters now thats alot) it should be cool if they added Jin (towel guy), Hayato (light saber dude), blackheart, and anaris (mummy looking character)

X-23 I'm torn on since I actually do like the character, plus she plays pretty differently enough from Wolverine. Sentinel I've always hated so yeah if he were replaced by Gambit I'd be fine. Jin and Hayato are ones that can be good (though I'm pretty much fine with what we've got). Blackheartwould be great to have back on the grounds that Ghost Rider is here. Ankaris is from Darkstalkers and eh, not too keen on.

Being a big demon's crest player myself I honestly can't put my finger on it from any of the trailers past all the shouting and punching. If I had to guess its a GnG remix or it might possibly be a heavily guitar remix of "Legend of the Firebrand" from Demon's Crest.
Personally I was hoping for a bad ass remix of Memorial of the Fallen myself.
