This was released in I believe 1965. Little Cindy was a child evangelist, and the original promotions for the record implied that she was divinely inspired, had written this herself (actually Burl Ives did) and that there was something miraculous about the recording (aside from the content). She was supposed to be about five (she was actually eight). The record cost $5, extremely expensive for that time.
