thats a good point. i believe the others foot braked. slowing them down just as much. when you're going that fast, a predrift that fast will scrub as much speed as footbraking. but still ballzy as hell. i can't wait when everyone is neck n neck throwin down drifts like that

foot breaking (with the possible exception of brazillian style) generally makes for anearly break. as you cant really begin your corners while breaking. Pre drifting lets you hold off longers thus gaining you a few feet extra distance on the slower foot breakers. Also its better technique

There were several rides, and some other riders did the same predrift, but none of them was as effective and precise as Patrick :-)
