The end of this game was the most awful thing I've ever seen. It was literally disgraceful. The NHL, NBC, and the refs should've been ashamed of themselves. At least the Flyers suck so bad that they couldn't even win when they tried to give them the game.

I don't think this was a bad call looking back at it now. The puck was covered up in the crease. This call still bugs me though since they didn't give shit to Gaborik when he was completely hooked on his breakaway only minutes before.

The CBC announcers did a great job. If you heard the NBC guys, they were a disgrace. Openly rooting for the Flyers to tie it. They never even said what the Callahan penalty was. We in the US had NO IDEA what he got called for. Those guys are such schmucks. The CBC guys were great. I wish I could have had this broadcast. NBC should be ashamed.

People keep saying that McDonough covered the puck in the crease, which if he did, yes a penatly shot should be awarded to the Flyers, according to Rule 67.4. BUT... look at 0:17 to 0:24; watch Lundqvist's left leg. When McDonough flies across the crease, his body pushes Lundqvist leg, which of course pushes the puck to the right side of the net, until it gets dugged out. Sorry guys, Lundqvist leg covered/pushed the puck, not McDonough. No Penatly Shot.

The puck wasn't in the crease. It was at the side of the net. It has to be definitive, the refs and linesmen clearly lost sight of the puck. Wrong call.

@southCnjsCatcher Rule is you can't cover the puck with your hand. He did no such thing. He slid across with his arms and knocked the puck out of there. He didn't cover it with his hands. Watch the replay at 0:24, you can see him hit the puck with his knee.

McDonagh got called for a bullshit delay of game call about 10 minutes before this also when he was pushed by Van Reimsdyk into the net. Then Cally has an open net, gets hooked across the neck, and somehow gets called for embellishment. Then after Mcdonagh makes a fantastic play to save the game, they call him for this bullshit? Give me a break. I've never seen a more blatant attempt by officials with an agenda to drum up more drama for a game.
