Jason obviously wants to have a baby with Sam and not with Liz. Regardless that Liz is a nurse doesn't make her better than Sam it just make her a nurse. And the fact that he wanted to marry Liz doesn't mean he loves her, he just wanted a family. He also wanted to marry Sam when she was pregnant but when he propose to Sam again even after the baby died and after they lost Hope that just shows you that his heart and love is with Sam.

Sam is the better woman for Jason. She is the only one who has ever excepted Jason for who he is without trying to change him. Besides that she flows with his life and is willing to have his back no matter the situation. Carly rules, no need to defend her, no matter what you say she holds her own. Laura Wright has quickly made Carly her own and doing quite well.
