  • When I'm on youtube and I don't like a video or a song. I don't waste my time to comment or watch. Some people are straight up f***ing haters.

  • this iz one of my fav Jay trackz, the beat alone iz bananaz!!!

  • ONE OF THE REALEST SONGS EVER MADE.....HE SPITS THIS WITH NOTHIN BUT TRUTH AND HEART

  • THIS SONG IS SO SICK.

  • @Bankallday ya blacky i am a white boy and, o yeah i forgot you grew up with jay z. you was his but buddy too faggot. fuck you WHITE POWER. your a poser bitch just like jay z

  • jay z aint no dope man and never was. wat a fucking studio gangster

  • @xXDarkestRevengeXx Shut up white boy. Jigga been certified and got niggas that will vouch for his history. He was definitely a d-boy in his younger days. I don't know where you heard he wasn't.

  • At age nine, saw my first hate crime

Blindfolded, expected to walk a straight line

Mind molded, taught to love you and hate mine

Climbed over it, at a early age, Jay shined

  • solid track

  • Im what hope floats mannn..O.g for real

  • FREE MUMIA!!!!!

  • Shout out to Six Figga Digga for the beat

  • Jay z is the best alive and known! His flow is insane, he puts words togeather with almost to much ease. and brings style, swagg, and most importantly the business espect of self promotion, marketing, and making urself a RELEVENT brand name.

  • i dont give a hoot about 50 cent, but if Murder Inc. was that "deep" how did 50 cent bring them down?! so is most of this shit jay z spitting is just his fat lips right

  • yo if jay z never made takeover, Nas would have fell of back then, Nas wrote to many fake storys that he aint do. every Jay cd that came out, was hot, n he still killing them, Nas aint put shit out till stillmatic, He should tell jay to call em out again..jay moving the nets to brooklyn, what the fuck nas doing, writing alot of bullshit. Jay the king...

  • Even your fav rapper has got a wack song...the difference in emcees is the one with the least number of wack songs and Jay is a monster!!!

  • His ryhmes are crazy wack now! 2011

  • @FAIRLEYBOI Everyone says that about Jay-Z each and very year. People always say they miss late-90's early 2000's Jay-Z, but back then, people were calling him wack too. So yeah

  • realist song jay ever made ........listen to what he is saying straight realness wit a twist....

  • the google search engine says dope man is two words

  • fuck lil wayne this is the best rapper alive

  • @cookdacrook62 lil wayne?Hes not in jay-Z,Dr Dre or especially Eminems league.

  • @cookdacrook62 i cant sat fuck wayne but yes hova best rapper dead or alive

  • hey all yall just shut the fuck up god damn!!

  • Hi Tiki1220 comimg to u live from N.W.A News. I am here live today n New York City with Shawn Carter A.K.A (Jay z) Hi J. I believe many people envy you Jay, because u have such a big ego. (a) Well! What can I say? As he laughs out loud:). Maybe people should understand "I am a very hard person 2 understand". "It's not my fault, because I was born with this style and grace". Maybe, just maybe, others need 2 get their Swagger back!!! Hov! Oh! that's right! they have none, haters!!!

  • y'all all stupid NAs Won C'mon sun.. that was a fake battle dont eat this shit up u will get constipated this is JAyZ best album i agree but that aint saying much cuz the best track watch me that beat was made by dr dre.. wake up anyhow this old news JAyz and Nas , Nas is way betta u heard his last 2 albums, Jayz is good at delivery like big nas is better lyrically like pac!! move on now to a nu discussion they both got u buttfudgers buying the shit up huhhH?

  • This is way Jay is better than NAS and Eminem. He just put his self on trail.

  • still the hardest beat i ever heard

  • @historyghosthunters werd that beat is crazy

  • does anybody know where i can hear the original version of Dopeman? the one with the sample Clue couldn't get cleared. he played it on the radio like a month before Vol.3 dropped never heard it again.

  • PromiseNYC BODIED this beat in his DopeMan freestyle.

  • @crysisdood I think so, Jay looked like paul peirce a little bit when he wore it

  • Hard Cut!!! Beat is by Platinum Producer, Darrell 'Digga' Branch. Check em out!!!

    Sixfigga Entertainment

  • Takeover breaks over niggas god MC me jay hova

  • I love Jay music he one of the best to do it BUT He is a grimmey back stabbin unloyal snake and rat. thats truth cant respect him and it takes away from what he says

  • Jay shoulda used the Guilty Until Proven Innocent video for this song

  • Bank$ killed every beat of Jay-z's that he flowed on

  • jay-z after biggie and pac took the rap game to a whole different level. he show dudes that artist can reach the exec level. amongst other things. this cat must live on the planet from the sun

  • bp2 and vol.3 are my 2 fav Jay-z albums (besides reasonable doubt of course) =)

  • @DrStu2 bp2 sucks

  • Does Mrs. Carter knowel of you wanna see wut her husband dick taste like? This iz music, not online dating....Wesifalif...NIA.

  • what videos are those?

  • @AlizeCiz 2pac isn't the best of all time. Nas doesn't keep it more real than Jay Z. Nas sold out way b4 Jigga on Nastradamus doin songs like u owe me with ginuwine nd oochie wallie wallie. While Jigga was releasing real gems like this album rite here. Jay has never claimed to be a prophet or a saint- he just makes music. Nas is a hypocrite callin jay a pop shit wen his last album prior to the beef was Nastradamus - lool. Nas has neva sold drugs but calls himself Escobar?! Jay is def more real

  • @zsivaz So does Mrs. Carter knowel about your throwt haven you keep for her hubbie?

  • I prefer Nas to Jay Z... though I understand why some like Jay Z better. They're as good as each other, except Nas keeps it real more occasionally.

But 2pac is the best of all time. If not the best in terms of rapping, the best in terms of God given talent. He was more than just rap.

  • I listen 2 this track all the time & everytime I think (in Eminems voice) "& motherfuckers 4got about Jay"!

  • fuck the system and lady justice i blaze 9

  • This is just my opinion, But clearly Jay won the beef. Public opinion will say the opposite but Jay got became a CULTURAL ICON while Nas faded away. I'm a genuine fan of both but I'm jus keepin it 100. And the Takeover, in ONE VERSE, were facts lol like that's literally how shit went down, Either was Nas playin the dozens lol. So of course he got more "laughs".

  • best one ever... greetings from macedonia

  • Dame, Biggs, Lyor, Kev' and Russell Simmons

  • people dont seem to understand jay-z lyrics .. you have to be raised in the streets to understand the lyrics really understand not just bop your head

  • i say reasonable doubt , vol 1, vol 3 and blueprint 1 classic albums the other ones was hot but not as good as these albums

  • @GizHiTek I feel u but as far as classics go i wouldnt say vol 1 only cuz he had like 3 or 4 diddy type tracks for the mainstream appeal but no doubt it had mad bangers.... I would say Reasonable Doubt, Vol 3, Blueprint, n Black Album r classics but Vol 3 gets lost in the mix people forget about it

  • @ChiCagOh1 true but it did have that hunger and conscious feel to it like where im from, rap game/ crack game, real niggas, streets is watchin, friend or foe 98, lucky me, you must love me....it does have dope tracks that give it a dope feel and even who u wit II and the city is mine have deeper meanings beyond the lyrics

  • @GizHiTek u MIssed theblack album- classic. If ever there was a way to retire with a bang- tis was the perfect album. Agreed with the rest Vol.1 remains y favourite Jay album. I think Vol, 2 is a classic aswell- lyrically it wasnt as brilliat as the other 2 volumes- but the continuity/synchronisation of the album was brilliant.

  • F'n love this song. "I grew where you hold ya blacks up, trapped us expect us not to pick gats up...... destroy are dreams of lawyers and actors". "Blindfolded expected to walk a straight line, at age 9 saw my first hate crime"

  • JAY > Nas

n i got all of jay n nas album

    comparison by albums and consistency

    Jay won

no doubt nas is a better lyricist but jay is just a all around beast

  • @sylentnyte1999 jay z got many more features on his albums then nas they both legends no doubt

  • @sylentnyte1999 Nas being a True Lyricist verses Jay (Now) bein fake... jay-z use to be good in his prime old times but now.. hell no only Niggas In Paris thats it tho. all bout his old shit. but even tho. Nas touched more through his stories/lyrical structure. Nas > Jay EveryDay.

  • VOLUME 3 IS SO UNDERRATED! ITS SUCH A CLASSIC

  • @phoreoneone i do not agree. just because he may never reach the level of Reasonable Doubt again, it doesn't mean that his current shit is wack.

  • Jay-Z>Nas. And i love Nas as a rapper. I cant act like he isnt talented or didnt breed plenty of rappers but i think Jay did so mmuch more and is a better rapper.

  • Every rappers first 40 songs are they're Bio-Tracks a.k.a. Original Shit...

But I think every Rapper to go PLatinum once is more a Fad, but once a Fuckn Rapper does it bigger than them, (meaning not Fad rappers that go Plat one time) and then stays relavent yrs later with sum style, or hood statements that still get used in any culture, at the least they are owed a lasting respect in my book specially after that amount of work, an it's end re$ults...

    YOU FAGGS GET TOO DEEP

    "I MIS THE OLD..."

  • Jay needs a dopeman pt 2

  • i had a dream that this trial was happening to me maybe cause i fell asleep listening to this and i wish i was a rapper

  • @gopio9 Hey man, even if you stunk, you'd still be better than this piece of shit.

  • @gopio9 lol!!!!!

  • Songs like this is why no rapper living can fuck wit him.

  • @blackricktheruler *cough* Eminem???

  • @JayZisgarbage *cough*Groupie???

  • @blackricktheruler *cough* you???

  • @JayZisgarbage I see you have comments from 2 months ago on this song,yep,you're a groupie,LMAO!!!

  • Let's rename this, "Gropeman". I mean, Jay-Z did strangle hip hop and leave it lifeless. Thank you Jay-Z for making my jokes so easy, they write themselves.

  • @JayZisgarbage lol ur the biggest hater i laffed wen i saw ur name jayz goat bitch

  • @74gangstafolk6 Yes yes. Thank you. As if it wasn't obvious enough that I'm a hater, you just had to tell me that I'm the "biggest hater". I must be doing something right. But make no mistake friend, Jay-Z ain't no G.O.A.T. He's a camel. Period.

  • @JayZisgarbage wrong niggas that have haters are doing somethin right lol yo bitch ass u love jay z on the in side u look up all his shit jus to hate lmfao

  • This song should be a lot biggr than it is. barely anyone even heard this song and it is literally one of the best songs ever. Meeanwhile Soulja Boy's gettin rich off turn my swag on.

    JAY 4LIFEE

  • @LilDtherapper dude, its because it cant be played on gay terrestial radio stations. they cant play this song on public radios stations. but i agree it is his best song i think...seriously i love this song and i agreee withu , but thats why not to ,many people know about it.

  • "I'm a prisoner of circumstance/ frail nigga, I couldn't much work wit my hands"

"At age nine saw my first hate crime, blindfolded expected to walk a straight line, mind molded taught to love you and hate mine"

  • true story of every young black kid trying to make it out there..

  • what about obama?? or is he white?

  • This is definitely one of his best songs ever...that last verse was crazy

  • @ChiCagOh1

i kno right! all my friends say i'm overrating it

  • @ChiCagOh1 yeah he bodied it on that last verse

  • the best of all time

  • yea it looks like there are some interesting interviews used in that video clip. wouldnt mind chekin out. Anyone know?

  • what are the real names for the videos in this video?

  • @103jinx

Hard Knock Life Tour, the movie is called BACKSTAGE.

  • i like how you did this video keep doing yo thing. ROC 4 LIFE

  • In my opinion his best album(PERIOD) straight through and through can listen and love every song.

  • this song alone is better than any song of the bp3!! period! vol3=classic

  • @raoulhery HA HA!! Jigga's my dude and BP3 is my shit, but you're TRULY RIGHT!! LMAO!!!

  • @raoulhery Vol 3 is a classic, but BP3 wasn't chopped liver on any level

  • @raoulhery No disrespect but thats complete bullshit you wrote. I'd put Blueprint 3 up over any song on this album. Volume 3 was lackluster, PERIOD!

  • @Jemini29944

No disrespect 2 you, but i have to say YOU Just wrote complete bullshit. You could said BP1 and I'd agree, BP2 even better, but The BP 3..... REALLY??? Better than lets do it again, dopeman, so ghetto, big pimpin? watch me? NYMP gorillas ??? I'll respect to your opinion, but that's quite asinine if i say so myself, I stopped listening to Jay's albums after the Black Album

  • @SithLordNefaar022 What the? Brother I could barely read what you wrote, seriously mann, learn some sentence structure. Anyway, your opinions are flawed and based purely on total bullshit. Do me a favor, either come up with an intelligent debate, or back the fuck up. Jay-z FOREVER!

  • @Jemini29944

Ok i was in a hurry before, now I'll slow it up for you. You must be a fool to have the nerve to say BP3 over any track of this Vol. 3 album, all the tracks I listed off this album below are testament to how street

the Life & Times were. If you said Blueprint 1 was better, I'd agree with you. The Blueprint 2, even better.

    But not the Blueprint 3.

You're the one trying to put an ALBUM over a SONG, but my opinions flawed???

    Ok buddy...... Young'ins.......... smh

  • @Jemini29944 so ghetto,nymp,its hot,dopeman lackluster?like fuck,how long have you listened to ay serioulsy

  • @murph277v NYMP, it's hot, and dopeman are only 3 songs on a 15+ album filled with horribly produced beats by Swizz. Listen, maybe your a little slow............3 songs out of 15 does not make a hot album, lol. Can you do basic math?

  • @Jemini29944 welll i also left out anything, the hova song,s.carter..there was only 1 or 2 ok songs on bp3,so ambitious and doa..and them beat like on to the next one were horrible

  • @murph277v Don't get me started on the Blueprint 3 song roster: What You Talking 'bout, Thank You, D.O.A., Run This Town, Empire State of Mind, Real As It Gets, On To The Next One, Off That, and Reminder. Everything else on the album had the potential to be great but they lacked direction. Any of these songs completely towers over Volume 3. Jay-z said it himself that Volume 3 along with Kingdom Come were his worst recordings.

  • @Jemini29944 ok run this town empire state of mind real as it gets on to the next one and off that were horrible, and jayz is my favourite rapper!the beats were horrible and lyrics wise it was average..and kingdom come was a hot album,it just got seriously over looked..seriously ,how can you say on to the next one is good?swizz produced a lot on bp3 too uno

  • @murph277v Hahaha, I just realized that you know absolutely nothing about music production. lol, you must be just a fan who can't actually preform the very craft in which you critique. especially if you consider Kingdom come a good album considering Jay-z himself discredits the album as a mistake. I was expecting more of an intelligent response from you@murph277v, I'm disappointed. Laters :(

  • @Jemini29944 im sorry but beach chair, lost ones can n not be discredited..maybe there the 2 only decent songs on the album, but its still better than a lot of the shit these days

  • @murph277v I liked Beach Chair and Lost Ones, but only as 'standalone' songs. They seemed completely out of place with the rest of the songs on Kingdom. Listen, this is way you're a fan, because you like a song for all the wrong reasons. To properly judge an album, each track has to have relevance with every other track on the album. For example, what made The Blueprint so good was Jay-z's choice to use 60's R&B and Rock as a melodic theme. THAT'S HOW YOU DECIDE IF AN ALBUMS WORTHY OR NOT.

  • @Jemini29944 well i am happy there is still fans like us that can argue whats jays best albums, its a credit to him

  • illumianti!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • easterknight your a fuckin goof he doesnt steal shit from anyone hes fuckin jay z

  • Yes he duz im serious there's a whole documentary

  • He steals most of his rhymes from Big L though. There is a whole short documentary bout Jay-Z's plagerism and rhyme stealing. Without a reasonable doubt he is a great business man in many many ways. He shud stick 2 that. Yea i know u reading this rite now thinks im hating whatever wot i'm saying is true.

  • 4 You 2 Say U Herd Soulja Boy Rhymes Better Den Jay Jus Probe Your Hating Oh And You Shud Check Ya Reserach And U C Most Rapper Swagger Jack.

Ntw Takeover Was As Good As Ether.

  • @Easterknight2461 Where is your proof?

  • @Easterknight2461 He's not a biter, he's a writer for his self and others. If he says a Big L, Biggie, Cam'ron, 2Pac, or Eminem verse, he's only bigging up his brothers. He's bigging up his colleagues, he's big enough to do it. He's that thorough. Plus he knows his own flow is foolish.

So that hate with flames you bring about, put it out. Jay's the best, East, West to the South.

Oh shit, I just "STOLE" and Jigga rhyme and flipped it. Uh oh. Time to start hating on me. LMAO!

  • 1) Reasonable Doubt 2) In My Lifetime Vol.1 3) The Black Album 4) The Blueprint 1 5) In My Lifetime Vol. 2 6) American Gangster 7) The Blueprint 2 (too main stream for me) 8) The Blueprint 3 (same) 9) In My Lifetime Vol. 3 10) The Dynasty 11) Kingdom Come

  • @JayZisgarbage omg, you're such a hilarious garbage. you're introducing urself as a hiphop fan (probably, i don't care anyway) and you're trying to hit me up about my SPELLING? ahahahhah, go listen to some celine dion, is spelling is problem for you, dickhead. celine dion is great at spelling.

  • let da hater hate,jay-z best rapper alive

  • @JayZisgarbage @JayZisgarbage Why would you name yourself this? You must really envy him. I HATE/DISLIKE soulja boy's music.. but I dont make a nickname with his name in it and comment on all his videos. I JUST DON"T LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC. Saying jay-z is garbage doesnt make any sense you can dislike his music but garbage is just dumb look what he achieved and the quality of his music. For you its not about the music .. you envy his wealth/status .. in otherwords youre just a B!TCH

  • @LRTWR Is this what passes for criticism nowadays? Seriously son, you could do better.

  • @LRTWR Your spirits been crushed, it's unfortunate my name advertises him but it wasn't my intent. Ether, ether, ether, ether.

  • @soljaboyisabitch How has my spirit been crushed? Ether? Thats supposed to hurt me? lol Ether is the best diss record ever made and Nas is one of the best rappers ever. I'm not a fanboy who likes one persons music and hates the rest. I like Nas and Jay-z's music so I don't need to choose.

  • @LRTWR I'm not sure what you mean by fanboy, but if my friends have an enemy it's mine too, I wish my friends woulda used me as a heavy more but go figure they wouldn't even knock out the name on the affidavit.
