Funny how you start your wife off with a high caliber handgun haha I'm thirteen and have fired a lot of .45 caliber pistols. But I don't like it nearly as much as the .38 which is MUCH more controllable. The First pistol i shot was a P226 9mm. It was too damn light and kicked up as much as a .45 does.
