  • Oh, come on that music is cool :D

  • @McDiDi419SK Damn right it is :P

  • what mission is that?

  • you know guys i don't think those are "glitches"... irl, choppers of that time did not fly any faster, if you did, it gets shaky...

besides, with some rudder, sorry, i mean rear rotor, 140kph are doable on the bell, and 80kias on the hrs3...

that violent jerking to one side is because of the momentum(r8 word?) of the main rotor, similar to autorotation but the other way around. helis just have one side they like to turn better than the other... this is very helpful at times...

  • @pdittrich

So in real life if you go too fast in an HRS3, it will violently shake side to side about 5-6 times per second generating a shock wave inside suffiencient to rip a human to pieces?

  • @Shuttheheckup735 dunno, i ain't no pilot... but i know that this shake was implemented on purpose by flakiten, it is called asymetric lift (not momentum as i said be4). this is a quote: "If you exceed the VNE (165kph) the helicopter will turn to the left. The shift will be more violent as the speed increases. To avoid it set speed below the VNE." (whatever VNE means). look here sas1946 dot com/main/index.php/topic,7862.0.html this is were the hrs3 appeared first (maybe where you got it?)

  • yah these things are crazy to control

  • You got Black Hawk in that?

  • Well, you invented Kamikaze Bell here. ;-) You seem to have a lot of fun with the helis, just like me. Fun video!

  • @BammBammBering

I don't have any fun in sense of being effective against the enemy... more or less just fun in blowing up my own allies in funny ways for no reason :D

  • Hey, did you see the new "AI Flyable Helis" mod? It's over at freeil2modding and SAS.

  • @Ninjastripy I'll go check that out right now, Thanks!

  • damn ..too bad they're so glitchy. :(

  • @zodwik Just avoid high speeds :)

  • @Ninjastripy "High Speed" is 100 km/h... good luck avoiding that lawl

  • @Shuttheheckup735 100 km/h in a Bell 47... but in a Sikorsky "High Speed" would be 100 mph or 160 km/h :)
