  • Im 12 years old, 6th grade, '5'11", 150 pounds, and imma startin DE for Jr. Midget... I play with 8th graders

  • Those swims look like really bad form....

  • i was a DE at Auburn university drafted by the dallas cowboys 14th overall..im rated a 94 in madden 12 my naem is chuck norris

  • 45,487 defensive ends but only one can be the best In simpler terms MEH!!!

  • shouldnt be swimming over the top of his head.... it should be a punch through over the shoulder, going over the head reveals too much of the side and allows the offensive lineman leverage on the defensive end

  • @ben44mlb I agree, plus they are pushing the dummy to high making it very unrealistic, if they can do that in a real game then they don't need to swim.

  • nope chuck testa

  • Search up Edward Cadougan 2011 watch that highlight tape! :)

  • Im 5'8 too

  • Also Im 5'8

  • 14 yrs 166 MLB for jv

  • Freshman in highschool starting defensive end for JV, but my year got cut short due to a torn ACL i had surgery 2 weeks ago, and missed over half the season, as it got torn in practice by hyperextension, now im in recovery to restrengthen my knew ACL, and get back on the football field next year as a Sophmore

  • I first wanted to ba a running back, we only had 4 games left and I was never put into a game. In pratice, I started to play d-end to make the offense better. Little did we know that I would become "the most feared d-end in all of football"-Coach Brodi. I apparently had natural talent in this position and the next game we had, I was starting d-end. I finished with 4 sacks in my first game. I've played a total of 4 games and I have over 15 sacks. Varsity next year. I'm 14 5'7 151 lbs and ASIAN

  • @xmwei who cares that you are asian

  • @damiandrifts well apperently the NFL does

  • @xmwei no they only care about your skills and strengths

  • @damiandrifts well I'm not saying its the NFL because it all starts in highschool, howcome I have to work twice as hard to be noticed on my team, while black and whites already are given a chance to prove themselves. How come I am the only asian that has ever played on my schools varsity team. My line coach told me that the coaches do have a preset racial selection. Im just saying that there is baggage with your race, Asians usually small and skinny, thats why we dance and play pingpong

  • im 6'2 195 d end and tackle starting jv. im 15

  • @WiiFail4life JV starting doesnt really matter. Starting in highschool doesnt matter theres alot of people that r small n suck so u probably suck

  • @TeamRussianSambo thats why i got moved up to varsity.. to start

  • dont do that swim technique cause all the offense has to do to break your ribs is stay low and push hard like there all trained

  • im 14, 5'7 146lbs starting D-End for Midgets

  • 16, 6'2 200 lbs, play Tackle and end for varsity high school AAA in Canada

  • Way to high if you want to be successful d line you need to be lower then the offensive line man. I'm 18 6,1 235

  • swim move is a terrible move rip all the way that way you don't get raped in the airpit by a good o linemen

  • Simply because everyone else is doing it, 164 pounds, 14 years old, 5'11

  • im 14 5'9 166 pounds D-end for freshmen

  • I'm 17, 6'2 245 lbs.

  • I'm 14 5'5 and 120 lbs and play d-end on freshmen

  • im 11 320lbs 5*

  • Im 13 110 LBS and i play end

  • Lucky they get to wear shorts

  • I'm 15, sophmore, 6'2 235 I'm an end.

  • im 17 130lbs and play d end

  • 5'11

  • I'm 16 170lbs. And play d-end

  • Im 15 175lbs 6' and i play end

  • i'm 13. 115lbs 5'7 and i play end

  • I'm 19. 265lbs 6'4 and i also play end

  • number 78 is fat

  • #50 is a beast

  • all i have to say is if these ends were to go up against my offense they would get no where if one of my coaches saw this we would be dooing hit its for hours haha

  • @downtothewire42 my bad I lost it for a sec

  • im 14 going into high school im 6 foot 190 and ive never played on a team and im curious as to what position i should play i was guessing something like center or defensive end but id like other peoples opinions

  • @GusBus74

On my opinion size does not matter, your techniques are what count & how hard your willing to put into the spot you want.

Im 5'9 171, playing defensive-end, I was put there over a 6'2 240+ guy. Why ? Because I have quick hands & feet & I know my responsibilities, oh and by the way I'm only a Sophomore playing as the 1st string D-End on Varsity.

Well I just wish you the best of luck kid and also remember that you don't only need skill to play the game you need HEART.

  • @JSTARRR34 U LYIN PUNK... U LYIN ON GOD, NO ONE CAN DO THAT IN HIGH SCHOOL AND HOW U 8 AND IN HIGH SCHOOL, PLUS U AINT GETTIN NNOWERE IF U 90 LBS, U THINK WE STUPID!!!!

  • @334xThrilla

Calm down there guy.. he was kidding lol

  • yoooo #76 u suck at swim move......u might be a good gaurd

  • I'm 8 I weigh 90 and i'm 4ft 7 I bench 450 and squat 975 I play D-end and I start for my highschool Varsity team I had 45 sacks and 70 tackles and by the way my dad is CHUCK NORRIS.

  • there get off is slow

  • @22cannon22 Lol brother all kids that talk mess tend to suck.

  • I am 15 and weigh 230 and im 6ft 4in, i often use the swim move but the blow delivery that your doing doesnt work to well unless you have longer arms than the guy infront of you. My coach teaches us to almost punch and hold the hip and should at the same time, I find this more effective because you can throw to the tackle or guard to either side to get to the QB and jam middle. Thanks great video.

  • #76 would drown

  • I'm 6'0 and 14 years old, weight 195, going out for D end for Muskegon Big reds freashman team, i squat 300 punds max and bench 160, only problem i got is, HORRIBLE STAMINA

  • hey guys im 5'5 and im going to be in the top 100 d-ends in the contary see yall soon. give me some GOOD tip

  • im 5'6 and weigh 140lbs going into the eigth grade, the only reason why i havent gotten a sack was because my coach wouldnt put me in enough to let me have a chance, im one tough S.O.B and my agression takes up for my size

  • I'm 5'6 160 currently run a 4.8 had 22 sacks last season . I'm pretty short though but I have power I can get through line and locate the ball. Wish I was taller though ):

  • @Vest223 wow lol your exactly my height and weight and we play the same position and i ran the 40 a little faster.

  • Im 5'10 200lbs. run a 5.3 fourty and Im one of the faster DL. Bench 310 and squat 405. Should I play DT or DE?

  • @jtjjohnson365 Im 5'11 210. run a 4.75 fourty Bench 350 and squat I have no clue TBH. Im a D-END :) Just thought id share

  • @jtjjohnson365 u can be a great quick dt if u put on some weight

  • I'm 230, 5'11'' and run a 6.3. Im slow but, im one of the faster lineman on my team. Last year I was a Nosetackle but, im faster now and the coach is thinkin' about puttin me at DE. What do u guys think?

  • @abcdefnfsmadden11 u definitely have the size to play DE but you should work on your speed

  • What about I am 6 ft 180 run a 4 .87 bench 185 squat 280 i think about playing line backer what do yall think ?

  • @naaman350022 d end

  • @Telos247 this is fullbackfreaklogan.. i had to create another account cause they wouldnt let me sign in with my other account.. but yea ive been working on my speed and especially my explosion off the line. i lettered as a freshman last year and i went against tackles that were 6'5 340 pounds and handled me like a rag doll. but if i beat tackles or pulled gaurds/tight ends off the ball i should be fine.

  • you guys think ill be good at DE?

im 6'2'', ill be a sophomore this coming year, I weigh 205 as of yesterday, max bench is 270, max squat is 410, and my 40 dash is 5 flat.

  • @FullbackFreaklogan You seem like you could be a good DE though you have to be faster than most people on the line so that you could get the RunningBack when he comes your way. Overall you seem pretty strong, fast, tall, and heavy. Qualities of a DE.

  • Ffs, how light is that sled? It looks weightless.

  • Comment removed

  • i wish i can be as good as 64(:

will i be a good DE im 6'1 andd im 216

bench about 295 and squat about 3 plates and 25's

  • @PunishingPenguinWAB wat year r u in?

  • i wish i can be as good as 64(:

  • i bench my weight and squat 135

  • will i make a good defensive end im 112 pounds and 5'7 and im pretty fast

  • @tylar135 u need to get heavier.ur wayyyyyy to light for line im a dt/de and i weigh 203 pounds and im 6,0

  • yeah honestly as a d end the rips and swims never work you just gotta beat the o line of the ball and wrongarm pulling gaurds and trapping fullbacks

  • 76 needs some work

  • the swim and the spin move are pretty easy and pretty much instinct but the rip move is a lot harder than it seems...btw on the rip move, you have to get lower so you can get under that linemas arm so you either blow by him or its holding

  • @b1r11a1n the swim move never works

  • @shawdabest yea but it works on running plays when the o lineman lunge at you

  • @b1r11a1n swim move is a pash rush move, definitely not a run stop move.

  • @passthe4lokos you can use it for both

  • @shawdabest the swim move works if, and only if, your nasty. if you dont have it down to an art and dont mix it in with other moves it either wont work or will not be effective enough to get you through fast enough.

  • I'm sorry but those rips and swims are horrible...

  • I PLAY DEFENSIVE END!

  • These are good techniques. For pursuit, you have the tackle off you so you can get the backfield and stop the run to the other end. Also, you have contain of the outside without the tackle so you can stop the run easily to your end. With pass rush, you also contain the QB and sac him or cause pressure.

  • notice how they have the black kid at the back of the line

  • Our coach use to stand on the back of the sled

  • danm ur team is probably beasting

  • Every play you need to stay low so you are more agile and you can fight off blocker, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, avoid getting blocked (which means dont EVER hit the tackle) and use the rip and swim moves so you can keep the blockers hands off of you. Depending on your coach's defense, you should hit the TE so he has to readjust his route. Remember: always stay heal depth. Dont pursue right away, read the play and then move but also remember that your job is to stop them from running towards the outside

  • @Yewtobeguy Also if you are lower you have more leverage to get you blocker up and off of you

  • @jokabananacream lmaosame and if your a fat/taller den me just bone rush with helmet but dont stop moving your feet

  • now all i need is a sled.

  • Hands on Hands on. That is the main tip I can give. Put your hands on the tackle or the TE. because you can assert control and stop from getting blocked. Plus if the team likes to pass to the TE you will knock of the timing of his route by having your hands on him.

  • this isnt really any of the techniques i use, usually i just do a sidestep or a roll to beat my blocker if i have one and then look to contain the football then sack th QB if it isnt a pitch or something like that

  • Thanks this helped. Always had a problem with tight ends as an outside LB.

  • @ZaoHuZhua How?

they block down you come fill? They pull out you take it on with your inside shoulder squeeze it down keep your outside arm free, They release inside you go in your under zone he goes you you go in your under zone. he steps back you go in your undezone

  • Dis video booty cuz I'm 13 n play 4 Miami xtreme and I play de and te and wr and u supposed to contain da outside and go about 5 urfa and box

  • this team must be terrible, I am 13 I play youth football leagues and I am better than atleast half of the people here, and I play defensive what happened to containing and not letting the running back get to the outside,

  • @NUEROGASM We all have to start from somewhere things may look easy ,but they always aren't as easy as they look.

  • @bsuperman3 thats true, also I have been playin defensive end since I was 8 and I played every year in between so I am some experienced and u r right, it is harder than it looks

  • @NUEROGASM I have been playing Pop Warner since 4rth grade but not DE ,but I am a beast on the field when you play with heart and always give it 700% your are beast! You are probably really beast on that field do work!

  • @NUEROGASM I take back what I said now They need more heart in the pass rush of their team

  • @NUEROGASM man your right. im a defensive end and my first responsibility on a run is to force the back to the inside.

  • what?

i was taught swim to grab the opposite shoulder pad

and i think it works much better than how this guy is teaching it

  • #50 is good
