  • what is that instrumentall at 14:00! that is HOT!!!

  • Great video, guys!

My church, Newsong LA, is actually getting ready to do a series called THIRD CULTURE (starting Jan. 23). The definition of the word “culture” is quickly becoming muy ambiguo. It is time to apply God's truth to our generation’s unique cultural diversity. In doing that, we hope to learn how to foster and live out genuine unity in our intercultural relationships and multicultural settings.

    Much love to you both!

  • I come from a Latin american family, i grew up in a latino church but now i serve at an chinese predominately Malaysian church, at first the cultural differences were difficult to deal with as chinese tend to take a long time to open up to new people but soon you realize that what brings us together is the Love of God, i consider them family now.

  • I see you Nua!! Slammin on that runnin man haha! Thanks for sharing your culture with us and clearing up those myths.

  • yo this video was hilarious and dope. two thumbs up

  • Justin what do you think about the Illuminati?

  • I want to attend a diverse church so that I can invite my friends to come and they can feel more comfortable because people in my church are too judgmental when non-Blacks come in. I wish we weren't segregated because we are 1 body in Christ.

  • @Smarty2able Its already very very bad when church member are judgmental...WHY even go to church then? what they learning?

  • @AlphaMusicGroup1 Its an Imovie video software music snippet, comes with the software ...

  • yes, minority exists in cultural and racial barriers, but with Jesus, all of those barriers break down. i think the true minority lies not in racial barriers, but by people in your life who know, and are close, to you because they now know you are a christan.

    but, that's what i believe....from experience.

the girl looks familiar btw o_O LOL!

  • in fact, i felt more of a minority when i became a christian because the beliefs of my family, especially my parents, were soley based on hardcore catholicism. my parents didn't like it because i started going to a church where i felt Jesus spoke to me and was able to teach me more about who He is. in fact, they thought i was crazy for a bit. i also started becoming a minority amongst my friends & the ppl i spent my time with.

  • Jacked up!!! lol

  • to answer pastor Justin's question on his description: yup! ^^ i was a "minority" at one of my churches. i'm a filipina who went to an all black church (well, most of them were black), but it didn't even bug me. in fact, i felt pretty dang cool because i was the only filipina there LOL! it felt like a breakthrough in barriers because with Jesus, there are NO barriers. i felt very comfortable being there because of Love (Jesus), and people loved me back.

  • I am an asian chick who goes to a "black church" ... so called intl (by faith) lol. P.s. I love it! Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom :)

  • lol I'm Chinese and I don't know about her, but I know we DO eat all parts of pig too, same with cow...chicken... eerthang haha

  • Yo baby girl is FLY! I'm about to go to your church and bag her UP! Cause I know you NOT doing NOTHING Pastor!

  • Eeeii These Two kind of look cute together -N- the pastor wasn't married Right!!!?

He pastor Justin, If she is not yet married, i really advies you to catch the fish in the water before it Runs away!

A man can't stay too long without a wife!! haha God gave us a good example: Da catholics!

One LOve haha No Hard feelings! God Bless!

  • Bomb.com

  • Thank you Pastor Justine for another great video! I attend a multi cultural church. I love my Pastor and love my church. This is a message that all Christians need to see. Keep making these great videos. God Bless

  • Church is Church....stop the separating by race.

  • @monkeyology1 AGREED!!!!!!! its STUPID!!!!!

  • Its not just chinese culture that does this. I've been brought up to take your shoes off in (not only my house) other peoples homes not only because its a sign of respect but for sanitary reasons also. Very informative video though.

  • haha @ 11:30

I love how he asks her to dispel some chinese myths and she starts talking about insects on a stick.

And then when he says that just as insects are disgusting to african americans, pig intestines are disgusting to asians, she makes this funny face. cause i bet she was thinking the same thing as me "actually.....we eat that TOO" hahaha

    o chinese people.

  • haha @ 11:30

I love how he asks her to dispel some chinese myths and she starts talking about insects on a stick.

  • you should do white people too and teach them the harlem shake!!!

  • yay!! i luv asians!

  • So cool! Lol!

  • LOL!!!!!

  • This is so great! I now have the courage to go attend this church down the street from me that I have always been too afraid to go to because I was scared of being the minority. Praise God for using you to relay this powerful message to us! Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks again Pastor for this video. I spent a summer in Beijing. I felt uncomfortable in many situations. However, I learned a lot about others and myself during that time. I recall that feeling every time I see visitors in my church. Oh, and she is correct about the food on the stick. It's street food. I have pictures. LOL!

  • Thanks again Pastor for this video. I spent a summer in Beijing. I felt uncomfortable in many situations. However, I learned a lot about others and myself during that time. I recall that feeling every time I see visitors in my church.

  • Lol this hilarious! Good stuff.

  • This video gives me an even greater confidence to witness to my Cambodian and Laos friends. Thanks

BTW, DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THE TUNE THAT STARTS PLAYING AT 3:55 ? It's so relaxing.

  • She got those dances moves down pretty quick! My childhood best friend was Korean, I remember always taking my shoes off in the house. Now I even do it when I go over to a friend's home. Great video showing how Christ brings people together.

  • It's known in Korea dogs are eaten.

  • lol yeah thats easy lol... i got saved in a all Spanish speaking church. I was the only white person singing a long. I stay there for 5 years. But for the glory of God the lord used me to introduce Christian hiphop. When i didnt even know it exsisted. I love this dude. Praise God for his grace and mercy. Check out my video pastor Justin. I go to crossover church where they host flavor fest.

  • hahahah this is funny cause im a black guy in a mostly asian church so im like the opposite of her lol, also, here in Canada, every takes off their shoes in any house, and i felt weird when i went to America to visit family and a lot didnt take off their shoes lol Culture shock. It really changes the perspective of ppl when different cultures collide and i encourage it, it breaks very strong social barriers.

  • I SAW THE DOCUMENTARY "SIMPLY RAW" REVERSE DIABETES IN 30 DAYS.SO I TOOK THE CHALLENGE, EATING RAW GREEN FOODS HAS COMPLETELY HELPED AND CURED ME.I TRYED THE RAW FOOD DIET FOR 30 DAYS AND USED ORGANIC CAYENNE WITH SALADS,VEGETABLES AND FRESH JUICED VEGGIES AND MY DIABETES WAS REVERSED.ALSO MY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND CHOLESTEROL LEVELS WENT BACK TO NORMAL.EVEN MY SKIN CLEARED UP I LOST WEIGHT AND MY EYESIGHT IMPROVED. IT FELT WONDERFUL TO SEE THE CHANGE RAW FOODS HAD IN MY HEALTH AND MY LIFE!

  • Definitely cool-o-mania. This reminds me of how the Christian groups on my campus come together (different races, nationalities, etc.)...it's really important.

Jesus died for us all...let's just be like Him. He's our everything!

    Peace and Blessings.

    Jesus First! Final Answer.

    (Smile!)

  • Pastor Justin I love you but I need you to realize that conversate is not a word. It's converse.

  • My church is predominantly black. I'd like to go and visit multicultural places of worship more often :)

  • I'm black, I go to a predominantly white church. On most sundays the bench that I sit on is usually empty, and the ones in front/behind me are usually full. But they seems nice. I guess they're scared of me. I had put my name on the list to become a member (twice) but they never got back to me.

  • hahahahaha. OH lord. Good stuff

  • You two would make a cute couple.

  • It's normal to take the path of least resistance and just be where you are most comfortable which is with people who are of the same culture you are, "your own people".Sometimes it just does not make sense to make the effort and take the hard road if there is an easier path that takes you to the same place.

Unless you're an asian girl who wants to find herself a nice black dude ;) Another stereotype come true lol

  • I enjoyed the video. real stuff

  • I'm African but personally will not go to any African church nor black church (unless I'm in Africa). Most of my life I've gone to non-denominational multicultural churches.

  • Omg!! This is awesome! I'm always telling my friends about visiting other churches and breaking out of the box... I visit very frequently, a Korean church right down the street, and brought my sis and friends, since then, the church has become more diverse... They welcomed us so warmly, and didn't make me feel, "brown" I felt loved just for being there.. I tell yah, the love of God, has NO color!! Thanks for sharing.. :)

  • lol the myth part had me laughing.. "go into business"

  • Dance in the kitchen, eat in the living room :-P hahahaha so ridiculous

  • Grace Christian Center in Killeen,TX one of the most diverse churches in American.People from all cultures attend. grace christian center dot com

  • It's a wonder they didn't all gang up on you and take your red boots. Ha, ha, ha...just joking. Cute red boots. I think we need to stop with all of the "stereotypes" we've been taught about one another. Never judge a book by it's cover. We're all individuals. No one represents an entire race of ppl. Hey, those painting behind you, what are they saying? I can sort of figure out the number, at, and the last one can't make out. Some even eat cow brains.

  • This is great. Cultural issues are a big problem in a vast majority of churches.

  • Awwwww...I love her! =0) Filipinos eat fried chitterlings called "bulaklak"sp? with spicy vinegar. FYI!

  • RoyalMBC ( DOT ) ORG If anyone thinks I'm a liar. Anyways, is it just me are Churches also segregated. I've been to a ton of revivals and everytime, I'm definitely the only "light skinned" guy there. It really bothers me, not that I am the only white guy, but that there isnt more multi racial Churches.

I mean seriously, maybe its the Charleston, South Carolina thing or something, I dunno. I still see this is a problem, not that I am nervous, but because The Body of Christ IS separated.

  • I goto a Church where me and another white guy are the only two in it. Theres almost 2000 members too. It's right in the middle of "a black neighborhood." I desire to see it multi-racial, but I also desire to see EVERY Church multi-racial. If we could break past tradition and embrace that factor, I guarantee the power of God would show up in a way nobody has seen, since The Book of Acts! I guarantee it, but let's be realistic, people are still on that black and white separation thing.

  • She picked up the running man (aka the MC hammer, lol) pretty fast! Some people don't get it as fast....

  • This is more that courting, and how it should look.

  • The Fumes!! lol, much love pastor Justin :D

  • I wish you would have asked her what her family and friends felt about her being Christian. The Chinese culture is Buddist, I think, so I wonder how she is handling that cultural diffence.

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent Actually there are many Muslims and Christians there. Type in "Jin rapper Christian" on youtube.

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent

Her family could be christian. I have a friend who is Chinese raised in Indonesia and her whole family is Christian. Well good question maybe will see something about it in the future.

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent - it really depends where the chinese person is from. Yes, historically the culture was buddhist, but it is not the predominant religion in the chinese culture currently. Mainland china is currently atheistic and most people don't have any particular religion. Hong Kong and Taiwan have more religions, but there are quite a few chinese christians in those locations.

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent

Good question. But she seems ABC to me, (American Born Chinese), meaning she was born here like me. and generally many of the Christian ABCs that i know were raised in a Christian family.

If you want an answer you should definitely ask a Chinese Christian brother or sister who was raised in china, cause more likely than not they're the first to accept Jesus in their family

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent Actually their are many chinese and asians that are Christian. The Korean Church is really awesome experience and the Chinese Baptist Church is a sight to see. You should research it and look at the different cultures who are christian from the traditional white and black churches.

  • @ExcelAndBeExcellent In Hawaii, a lot of Chinese are Christian.

  • Thanks!! Your videos always inspire me to be a better Christian.

  • the contrast in personalities is hilarious. i'm glad to see an african american preacher making this type of effort. segregation is one of the things that bothers me most about the church. p4cm isn't a typical church, so i can imagine the environment being more welcoming than the typical church. great video!

  • some places they do fry the chitterlings... but most places do boil em.

  • why do Christians label their church black, white, asian? why not just church where believers fellowship and worship the Lord ?

why are Americans go on about race.....even those that believe the scriptures?

  • @MANCKIE they mean if there are mostly black people, it is labeled a black church. It''s not like a big sign outside the church that says we are a black or white church, even though it shouldn't happen it naturally does.

  • @MANCKIE Thank you! at least someone has a real question here.

  • @MANCKIE Because the stats show the churches are one of the most segregated places to attend

"Ninety percent of African-American Christians worship in all-black churches. Ninety percent of white American Christians worship in all-white churches," said Chris Rice, coauthor of More Than Equals: Racial Healing for the Sake of the Gospel.

  • @JIX9ISLER1986 Also people normally flock to other people who look like them. If we have a choice that is what we usually do.

  • @JIX9ISLER1986

"stats show the churches are one of the most segregated places to attend"

In America different peoples live in long established areas, white, black, Hispanic and so the churches in those areas will reflect the people in those areas. common sense m8

most likely if you look at those churches with a wide variety of believers they are in new towns, college/uni areas etc.

a bible believing Christian doesn't see race, he sees brethren. only different people are those unbeliever

  • @JIX9ISLER1986

what saddens me the most about American Christians ist heir love of the world and obsessions they have with pagan, atheist culture. American churches have been the home of massive heresies and the growing apostate doctrines.

maybe concentrating on a real problem rather than using the atheist world view to create one with help

we are one body. get off your butts and look at the jehovis and mormons, how many of your churches members go door to door spreading the true gospel?

  • @MANCKIE race has always been an issue in the States. it's pretty much ingrained in their culture.

  • She had the runnin man down lol

  • nice message

  • This is great Pastor J! For the past few months I have been visiting different churches and as a black person I used to be apprehensive about visiting a church where the majority of the congregants are white but I prayed about on it and God delivered me from that fear. Now for the past month I have been attending a multi-cultural church in MD and I LOVE IT! The pastor is great and I believe that he has written books on multi-cultural ministries.

  • She is soooooo Beautifully Awesome!!!

  • im from Chile, the cultural minority thing its diferent here, race is not really a problem, the population is very homogeneous, but there are no myths about other races, like, nobody will think the black person will rob you or the asian is a bad driver, but there is a big discrimination problem regarding monetary wealth or social class and neighbour countries, and this is a problem that we see on churches too, how wealthy people will not go to a poor people church,

    its so sad.

    thx & God Bless

  • I learned a lot from this.

  • Is there non cross culrural ministry?

  • @BuyaahKazan lol

  • Wonderful message pastor! Break the stereotypes and take a stand for unity!! :D AMENN!

  • the cabbage patch pastor? Seriusly lol (sigh) well praise the Lord you didn't teach her the beyonce lmbo

  • Thats cool, I wish more people would do this. Sharing cultures is apart of developing connections and I believe going to a church where I would be a minority, would be a blessing.

  • Awesome, glory be to God! We are breaking out of that stereo type of hanging out with only " our kind". Continue to break us free Lord.
