This was my favourite scene in the books and the movies, now the stage version is amazing, and the way she describes what she will become is amazing, especially with that chant of hers. But when she says all roads lead now to sacrifice, she is telling the truth, many things we hold close to our hearts must be given up for the greater good, to her meaning the sacrifice of Lothlórien.
I saw this on stage and yes, it was scary, but amazing! I'm not sure who says 'You're blushing' but it was said to Sam, who replies 'Oh, no, it's just when she looked at me I thought I had nothing on!'
Thank you,the strength,the sensitivity and joy with which Laura M Kelly gave Galadriel was more akin to Tolkens description,this is a wonderful reminder, I wish a dvd had been issued or at least a fuller cast recording,maybe they will eventually,do you have the other version of Lothlorien?the version the peoples of Gondor adopt as their own anthem at the end,as with all the clips you have so graciously presented should have been on the album, the play's text as with the music was haunting.

What song is this on the soundtrack, or is it not on it? (I don't mean Lothlorien, but this reprise)

I would guess the elvish is the translation of the english verse in Lothlorienne.
" Shine forever Beacon of light Blaze in the air Vanquishing night."
But I would have to translate it, which would take a little time if you still want it, leave a message on my account . Thanks for the wonderful clip.

@Saphirawise
Either that or it was the opposite, and she sang about destruction and stuff. A 'dark' Galadriel might have a different song with the same tune.

Does anyone know what the translation of the elvish is which Galadriel sings after she says 'all shall love me and despair'?
Lanthiriel25 3 years ago
@Lanthiriel25 It sounds like she sings part of the song Wonder in elvish at the end there.

What does (Legolas?) say after (Gimli?) said "You're blushing?"
Woah! Galadriel goes from sweet to menacing in two seconds! I bet this looked really scary on stage.
