cool game, but not the best in any way, tekken, mortal kombat, soul calibur, and many more have evident better gameplay, specially soul calibur.

perhaps if you like this over the rest is because you have a particular liking around the combat style :/

this was the first game i got for my playstaion when i was 7 i loved it i played it so much they should make number 3 for 360 and ps3 and batsu was my fav he was a badass and the dude in the white and the music was fuckin epic

reason why this game WAS the sheee-et is bcus it was one of if not the first tag team type fighter. you could switch in your partner and do team hyper's. i loved it for the whole school aesthetic plus King of fighters type teams.

@Kaymikes23 Ha dont even try that. Tekken 3 was one of the greatest fighting games of its time. Theres a reason it was a greatest hit while this shit amassed a little cult following. I'd take bloody roar over this hands down.

@escaperoutebritish Well to be fair I was kinda trolling a bit. Im sure I wouldve enjoyed this game back in the day had I known of it. But these days Capcom is a very shitty company. Thats no lie. I will never buy a capcom game day one EVER because everyone knows half a year down the line they'll just release the "Super/Ultimate/Arcade/Pro" edition of whatever the game is and all they do is slap characters in there that were ALREADY on the disk you bought. Con artists...

@thangQanime Absolutely spot-on my sentiments also. Capcom have lost a lot of support from fans recently for this, for cancelling a certain third game in a series, and for making seemingly silly choices at every possible chance. I am in complete agreement with you :)

@JIMPACHRAL Whereas they are both 3D fighting games, I very much see Rival Schools as a 3D version of 2D fighting games, as opposed to a complete 3D fighting game like Tekken. The character design, sprited backgrounds and cheerful music makes this game feel more like a 2D fighter than Tekken does.
