this piece, written in the Guaguanco style, is supposed to be savored and able to dance to. Nobody could dance to this if they tried. I am a fan of this choir and wish they would have just felt the music. I performed this piece at an international festival in Peru last month, and the Cuban director who knows Guido Lopez-Gavilan personally, said that the dance we created with this piece was what the composer was going for. The story is about exaggeration. TELL IT don't yell it.

El guaguancó es más pausado en el tempo. y pues... no se comprende mucho el ritmo base...
Además, segun la partitura, hay muchos errores rítmicos, naturales en el aire que intentan interpretar.
Bellas voces, excelente empaste, magnífico director... mala interpretación, errado concepto.
