@finowa Surely you jest, Amott's Wah usage draws a lot of influence and is very reminiscent of Michael Schenker. It's used appropriately to accentuate notes and runs, rather than used in a constant sweeping motion like Wylde tends to do. It's hardly comparable.

Same goes for the scale usage, Amott barely uses the pentatonic as much as Zakk and when he does his phasing is far more unique and melodic, as opposed to the straight box-shredding you see from Wylde. A silly comparison, truly.

Mike is wayy more melodic and has a more "metally" aproach whereas Zakk has more influences from hard rock. I think they are both equally good, and i love them and admire them both. Zakk could never play like Mike, but neither can Mike play like Zakk, their styles are too personal and unique.
