  • i grew up on this music. my mom loved her. andshe played this song for me when i got pregnant at 18 and the boy didnt want anything to do with me or the baby. its a sad song but at the same time it reminds me how strong single moms have to be

  • Thanks for posting :-) Is it Dolly Parton singing harmony?

  • Watching the photos, Tammy was really looking her best when she wore her hair down, especially when she had bangs or parted it over her eyes - it was her look. I didn't like beehive or high-hair in the '60s, and it wasn't becoming to her. But it sure didn't affect her voice.

  • love this song kevin, thanks!

  • Thanks so for this kvncttn, it's so nice. Doesn't seem possible it's been so long since I was fortunate enough to meet and talk with Tammy. She was indeed awesome!!

  • What a beautiful and wondeful lady she was. Never will I forget how very nice she was to me. I still love you so Tammy!!

  • love this

  • She does an awesome version of this great song.

  • Growing up I was lucky to have seen every artist that I loved live in concert except for Tammy. I never had the chance as an adult. I can tell just by some of the songs she sang, I missed one hellava show.

  • Tammy has always been one of the founding female vocalist of country.

  • Love it, this should have been a massive hit.
