So II really have to thank you for making that money available at low interest rates and I thought you'd like to know that I benefitted from it. And Howard is letting me keep the house even thought the roof cost a lot. But we still got a good deal on the roof. I could see daylight through the old roof which was a wood shingle roof. LOTS of daylight. And he got work done on his house which had a floor about to cave in. So I am very very grateful to you and President Obama. Thanks.

When I am working for Amanda Elliott on Mainstreet during art activities or face painting, I am safe. And she is promoting a PAL Halloween party. But I am not going to that alone. I am staying home. I went to a PAL Christmas party without an invitation once and got hit with something I think they call jet fuel. I left out of there so fast you could hardly see me go. Also you are not safe if you go to a Macdonalds around here and order a happy meal without having a child with you.

They have a much better teachers union in San Francisco than they do in this county. They gave me an hour and a half to get to work from when they called me. At the Acalanes Union School District they let me know that no, it wasn't going to be that way there. I had 15 minutes to get there. Of course I cannot fly there from Richmond. Well we all have to know our limitations. I wish you the best of luck. You deserve it.

Sorry to miss you at the yard sale tomorrow. I think I had better stay in Richmond since I recently had a cold and that's foreign territory to me. I went to the Iron Triangle and volunteered but practically no one showed up and I got very ill the following week. There's a lot of nuts out there who don't like face painters. They think it's the work of the devil. I can sit in front of the market here and paint faces and maybe make a few bucks and do it safely.

And then they got me to call PGE and complain about a leaky wall furnace, I thought, because they put a skunk smell in the house. And PGE turned off the gas to the wall heater so I had no heat. I got a kerosene stove while I waited 2 years for an emergency loan from the city. Then I was relocated here.  The problem is the house needs new wiring, a new back deck, a new bathroom, etc. I might need major surgery. I will find out next week. Howard bought me a new roof thank God.

My house is all paid for. I bought a house on the freeway route in 1975. Then the freeway relocated me in 1988. It was quite a struggle to keep my house. They took my kid when he was almost 16 years old and sent him to his father in Hawaii, where I could not visit him. So I was cut off AFDC and had no income. But I had done newspaper business with the mortgage holder so he did not foreclose and waited two years until Social Security finally awarded me disability back payments.

I was tricked by Wells Fargo into thinking that I was getting a loan modification, so I wouldn't file Bankruptcy. Then by using a foreclosure company that was not Wells Fargo, and not giving me my 90 day notice by proper service, my home was foreclosed on. My home was not underwater, i owned it 15 years, and only owed 216,000 . The current market value is still 700,0000 and the address is 1080 Noble Lane, San Jose, CA. I have also been jobless two and a half years, and homeless in my car.
