thanks for this video...This human pyramid in is done to break dahi handi(yogurt/curd earthen pot)hung high only during "Janamashtami" in Mumbai.

It is signifies the childhood play of Lord Krishna.

I know that... thats why I am surprised that this is done during Ganesh puja.

Its not during Ganesh puja, just that the person posting the video may not recollect or know the difference between the Ganesh and Krisha and related festivals. Or it could be both the festivals came around same time ;) (very less likely though)
