  • well played

  • Damn i dont know what to say

  • Mother must be proud

  • Iha vitun hyvä! :D:D

  • @Jerzzi007 Kiitti, käy ihmeessä tsekkaamassa muutkin videot. :)

  • @Jerzzi007 Kiitti. Käy ihmeessä tsekkaamassa muutkin videot. :)

  • Awesome man. Now you need to cover one of the Shostakovich string quartets. Would sound badass.

  • @falconer6439 Sounds interesting, i´ll have to search for it now. :D

  • @Noitavasara 2 Good ones that would sound badass would be, Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor (II), and Emerson String Quartet: Shostakovich, String Qtet no. 3, III. And hell as long as Im throwing requests out there, haha, should check out Shostakovich - Sonata Cello-piano Op.40 IV.mov.

  • Haha awesome, this is brilliant :D

  • hey isnt this song actually in a fg apocalypse song

  • 0:54, like a boss.

  • Hey man quick question.. would you be interested in collaborating with my band Wurm Flesh and write drums for our song Enshrined In Rot? We don't have a drummer and local drummers are flaking on me

  • @WurmFlesh Thanks for your interest, i'll send you a private message..

  • Look at most symphonic black metal, Fleshgod Apocalypse, epic bands like Wintersun even the solos from Vital Remains songs. I wrote a paper in college about the parallels of extreme metal and classical and I got an A from a teacher who was extremely hard and knew nothing about music

  • @WurmFlesh I agree. :) And some metal guitarists have solo's which are almost like some classical arraged for guitar....

  • Why are select people hating on the mozart piece being too soft. The whole point of the vid is to showcase HIS talent and how its possible to mesh extreme metal drumming to classical music. "Play the drums softer or the mozart piece louder"? Really?

  • @WurmFlesh Thanks, good that somebody has time and will to say this... I dont after all the hatemail. :D Actually if people would know their music, they would realise how much heavy metal and classical music have in common. I know this will sound very controvertial statement, but this is how it is. Knowing only one side of this debate is not enough.

  • c'mon man, you coulda done those blasts with one foot!!!! be trve!!!!!

  • @TruthTheSpeaker c'mon, show me first how to do it and i'll follow your example. ;) Hehe, i'm not that fast with one foot... I can do 210bpm with right foor only, maybe 220, but 240 goes over my footspeed....

Wheew. Darn speedcrazy drumporn addicts! :D

  • @Noitavasara if i had a webcam i would show you.

  • Epic!

  • I appreciate your talent BUT why not either play the Mozart louder or the drums softer?

  • Genius man, genius...

  • Dat bass. Damn.

  • his balls must be bouncing....lol!

  • brutal death classic!!

  • setting on amp like a boss

  • I love your drum throne!!!

  • is he sitting on an amplifier?

  • nice! do us a favour and use a better track for the mozart piece!!

  • @thekaizer666 There are no better Mozart songs; they're all equally perfect.

  • @Zoth77 I agree. :)

  • @Zoth77 no i was saying you need to use better sampling. it sounds like a goddamned 80s casio.

  • @thekaizer666 okay, no, wrong video. what i meant to say was that, the mozart piece should be under overdrive. :)

  • @thekaizer666 oic; I can agree with that. hehe

  • Dude this is fucking ridiculous haha awesome

  • dude why are you are sitting on an amp?

  • @sbormato2 One of two possible things:

    1.) Amplify the keyboard

    2.) No drum throne

  • @RaverWhiteLight sitting on an amp gives you more stability than a drum throne

  • @sbormato2 lack of a throne?

  • fuckin awesome stuff!!

  • hahaahahaha awesome :D

  • HAHAHAA

    LOVE IT

  • this tune of mozart reminds me to 8-bit music from n64 or the game boy... XD

  • goddamn, man, you are a really talented drummer...

  • fai cagare

  • Onko lapinjärveltä video? Tutun näkönen setti ;) ja muutki vehkeet kyllä..

  • How about BLAST BEET HOVEN

  • sounds good,,always keep practicing,,awesome original idea as well!!

  • wow..where can i get such drum stool??...

  • that was awesome

  • lol, sick keys setup

  • What can I say... EPIC!

  • I always imagined that song like this, thanks a lot man :)

  • Ok Vadrum...

  • That 1911 button makes this video a whole lot better.

  • GO,.;:MAKE``;BEATS`;,.ONLINE~;`

  • That is one sexy snare.

  • @thisisformusiconly Hellyea. I wish i'd own that thing... This isn't my own kit. That's Pearl snare, bronze, free floating, darn good instrument.

  • @Noitavasara I will defiently get one, once i have money, and once i get better. . . lol. Everything on that kit is nicer than mine. sadface.

  • @thisisformusiconly Same here... I'm bying Yamaha stage customs one by one at the moment... I dont have money for really pro level set. (yet)

  • @Noitavasara Lol, you just got get some bitches and put on the corner, thats the best way to make money. I will probably buy a new set in like 3 or 4 years once i am settled(i am going into college need to save some money). And that snare is going to be first.

  • @thisisformusiconly Ha, like it would be that easy. :) Well i don't mind hacing a mid-range set... It's very easy to get decent sound out of mid-end kits... Good heads + tuning works wonders. :D

  • @Noitavasara indeed it is my friend plays in a band and his set was like 1000, and it sounds amazing. i have to replace my old tom heads, my god. They are literal just dents, nothing else, they also sound like shit. Also when i tune my highest tom after an hour or so it goes out of tune. . . wtf?!?! What kind of pedals do you have?

  • @thisisformusiconly What heads you use? Try Evans, i have some five year old heads in use and they sound as good as new. Evans heads can take a ton of beating and still sound damn good. Earlier i used Remo, then changed and never looked back. (Remo is as good soundwise but Evans heads sound good for years..)

  • @thisisformusiconly What heads you use? I use Evans. I have some five year old heads in use and they sound as good as new. Earlier i used Remo, then changed to Evans and difference is like night and day... Remo's are good too soundwise but Evans heads can take aton of beating and still sound good for years.

I use Yamaha DFP-9415. It's few years old model, direckt drive, very stable and responsive pedal.

  • @Noitavasara Nice man, i still have the 100 dollar PDPs you get at guitar center. . . they are so bad. I am looking to get a new pedal something i will play for a while, i was thinking about getting axis people have said good and bad things about them. I have Remo's and yes they do sound great, my bass drum sounds so heavy after i put one on, i have remo everything basically, but i am too "poor" to buy new ones every few monthes(cause my parents wont let me).

  • Dude this video is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! i keep returning here to listen to this :)

  • @CrawlingCadaver And soon you'll have new stuff to watch if you like my playing... I've just miced my kit and and i will be making more videos in few short days... ;)

  • Seriously dude, this is amazing.

  • @EthanGray11 Thank you... You know, i'm amazed how good feedback im still getting about this. It's old vid and sounds are crappy. Good to hear people like it.

  • cool vid, great playing

  • @sewerdevil12 Thanks... There's more coming in next few weeks, i finally have got thing to roll... More Doom music ahead..

  • Wow that's it! he's an exceptional actor....

  • "Don't mind me, just blast beating while sitting on a speaker."

  • @Likeyoucare lol

  • cool

  • Dude, your throne is magical!

  • Nice seat..... Asshole

  • and people say drummers dont add to a song i seriously think the drumming is the most important part when its used right

  • Thank God, Mozart is not alive anymore... :)

  • @Schatzmannn20 Aye.

  • @Schatzmannn20 Aye. He's headbanging in his grave.

  • Are you sitting on an amp?

  • Thats awsome

  • We sell drummer thrones at my shop :P

  • young jordan mancino? :P

  • @Dr8co1 Who's he? :D

  • @Noitavasara he drums for the band As I Lay Dying, you might wanna check them out if you've never heard of them before :D

  • @Dr8co1 Maybe i'll check it out... Does my playing hold some resemblance to his then? =)

  • @Noitavasara Nah, you just look kinda like him. lol :p His drumming is a lot slower. You're way faster than the stuff he does with As I Lay Dying.

  • @Noitavasara uuuum, it could, but from the camera angle you just look like him lol, he is a good drummer though :D

  • @Noitavasara Drummer of As I lay Dying.

  • @maniacspidertrash133 Thanks for clearing that up. :)

  • that's bad ass hahaha

  • 29 people can't play blast beats!

  • good sir, you are jesus.

  • Aaaahaha. Loistava idea! Varsin toimivaa kannutusta.

  • FUCKIN AWESOME IDEA !!!

  • I love your throne haha

  • man blast beats go soo well with sooo many songs!!!

  • pls record this in a Studio!!!!!

  • my seven months old daughter just dancad her ass off looooool

  • super tight

  • Cool chair (-;

  • Awesome stuff!

  • Woo!!! KICK ASS

  • Sitting on a speaker is definitely god-like

  • Damn! I got Axis pedals and I cant get that double bass out! What china do you use, sounds zildjian

  • Dude that was really cool :) It went together perfectly.

  • FUCKINGBROOTAL

  • This makes me so happy.

  • I'm honestly not shocked how well it fits. Death metal takes huge influence from not only jazz, but also from classical music.

  • ha thats some funny ass shit

  • Classical music is old-timey metal.

  • i like your drum stool

  • Mozart would be proud.

  • haha! epic!

  • Holy shit, I just headbanged to Mozart.

  • @WhosSherbet Pfftf. Not very impressive.I teared up a pant headbanging and pretending to direct to beethoven's 5th.

  • Fucking awesome. The snare's got an awful lot of ring to it though. I know that helps with faster tempos but it is quite high-pitched.

  • It makes the song much better ;D

  • HILARIOUS! I actually thought about the idea myself, I just never thought going all the way :p

  • 0:53 - 0:56 best face ever

  • @xXParanormalPunxXx

The Richard Christy kind of face.

  • @xXParanormalPunxXx haha. :D That end part is damn hard to play tightly, explain a bit of the stupid face. :D

  • Thats how it would look like if mozart had an techdeathmetal band.

  • i enjoy watching this video, now when i play it on piano it makes me wanna blast beat the piano hahahah, nah but seriously your drumming pops into my head as i play haha good job

  • look at your epic chair :D

  • Excellent job, bitch^^

  • Are you really sitting on your amp?

  • con'td: It's the mid tempos you got to look out for. With those going around 130 to 180. When you start trying to add 32nd's in there it's real hard. Because the song song behaves as if it's at 260-360bpm. So, some of those songs seem to have fast quality to them without being all that fast. combined with quick chord changes and the overall tonal changes with fast vocals. The songs are technically faster. Not sure what my point was, but, um, great playing! :)

  • I actually consider using the speed of the 32nd note (or 16th) to determine the speed of the song when comparing. if there's no 32nd's then the 16th. For example, Dragonforce usually is at 200bpm with 16ths, however the chord changes are only about every 2 measures. Which means they are only at 100bpm going at 32nd's. That's why the songs are sort of slow sounding, but with fast playing. Speaking of 240bpm, Frantic Disembowelment is at that speed, fast shit.

  • gaddamet! love it man keep it up! cheers from the philippines! ,\../

  • that was SICK man! loved every part of it!

  • PURE WIN!

  • dude, that was AWESOME,whta gear are you using? i THINK your bass pedal is an iron cobra? or a gibraltar? just guessing, take care man, keepit brutal!!! lml

  • @Boztongore68 The drums are some Pearl series, dont remember which one. Good cans anyway. Snare is some custom model, free floating with brass shell. Helluva loud thingy. Nope, i use yamaha DFP-9415. Its few years old now, Yamahas direct drive model. Good pedal and rather cheap. It has nice response and power, i like it. :)

  • @Noitavasara Can you go fast with those pedals?

  • @zoso445 These days maybe @ 220pbm to 230bpm i guess...

  • @Noitavasara 16th notes?

  • if only I could do that at my orchestra practises.... "sigh" AWESOME DRUMMING!

    YOUR TOTALLY ROCK!

  • If only I could do that on my orchestra..... "sigh"........ AWESOME DRUMMING!

    YOU ROCK!

  • now that's what you call technique.

  • This was really cool man! Keep up the good work!

  • it's perfect!!!! you are a great drummer men!!!!!!

    keep it!!!

  • kewl! but try some slower rythms also!

  • @tix666 I have lot of slowerstuff under work. Things are just taking their time again.... But when i finish my Doom ost compilation, there will be all kind of styles used. ;)

  • haha fuck yes! nice throne bro!

  • classical and metal mixed can't get any better then that

  • @anyrock22 Thank you. =)

  • Mozart was death metal artist ^^

  • I don't really like the way it sounds, I guess I am a purist when it comes to classical music.

Buy you've got skills, that's unarguable, and you have the best throne I've ever seen!

Oh BTW, I don't want to argue with you, but you are actually playing at 120 bpm to, it's just that, for example, if you were playing 16th notes originally at 240 bpm, now you are playing exactly the same notes, but in 32th notes at 120 bpm.

Remember that different timing should only be used with no compatible timing

  • @OZPerpetue Haha, thanks man. You're right, the song/click goes at 120 and i play 32th notes, i posted these ideos in horry and sutff.. Didnt exactly think about theory etc. (If i had a change, i'd put the metronome to 240bpm on this, would have been easier to play with it.)

  • belive it or not classical music is a fundament of rock

  • how can you drum like that while the amp's sound is tickling your ass o.O!?

  • @6Metal6Wolf6 The amp isnt on... I used it as a throne because i didn't hae anything better to sit on.

  • mozart is the heavy metal of the reinassance!!!!!!!!

  • haha nice job man, i like your throne too, im guessing that kinda works like those buttkicker things u strap on ur seat?

  • that is fucking amazing.

  • hahaha, fucking awesome.

  • dude thats sick it combines the most i guess relaxing for some people music and extreme drumming

  • hahahaha i love your throne! lol :)

  • mozart wouldve been proud

  • Have you ever had lessons?

  • @TheProwower Yes, two years when i was kid, after that, self taught... Why you ask?

  • ahahahaHAAAAA
