@monstewn you moron this is before he had requested the spelling change of his name in the nhl records because it was being pronounced differently. no one knew it was semyon til WAY after these playoffs. and if you want to get really critical how about you spell his name right for once and spell it "Семён"
yeah, he's russian. the caps are the team in the nhl with the most russian players of any other team. they have five russians: varlamov, ovechkin, semin, koslov, and federov
but varlamov is only one of my favorites (yes, it's very hard to choose) ovechkin and semin are also really cool.
out of 82 games they've played, they've won 50, lost 24, lost 8 games in overtime, scored 108 points, had 272 goals for, 245 goals against, and 1021 penalty minutes. home record: 29-9-3; away record: 21-15-5; record in last 10 games: 6-2-2 (note: these are regular season standings and the caps are currently in the playoffs)
yeah, they just won game 6 against the pittsburgh penguins last night (they won in overtime, so it was a really close game) and game 7 (the make or break game for both teams) is tomorrow night.
Looks like somebody got a little too excited after the game!

Translation from russian.
Varlamov: No, you can't do so. I have a mouth full of shaving cream, shit!
Voices (Ovie? + Semin?): Don't dry, don't clean it yet. Please!
Voice (Ovie?): Simeon, Simeon.
Varlamov: I confide in this leg-pull, Ovechkin...

OV means "Son of" - basically Varlamov - is a son of Varlaam.
Fedorov - son of Fedor.
Swedish surnames, I guess, have the same root structure.
