@nuthenry2 Well, no, if you remember the Ohm's law, I=U/R, where I is the current, U the voltage and R the resistance. Given a constant resistance, we see that the current is proportional with the voltage. So it's actually the electricity that kills, volts and amps together :))
I bet the bearings in the hairdryer's blower motor fail after this. The water washed all the grease out, as well as corroded the parts.
