  • Have you ever heard of "Hover Balls" ?

  • @xXTomSaywoodXx There is NO fun in using hoverballs. Obviously you have no idea what wire mod is about.

  • You fail, I've made a contraption that uses nothing but thrusters to hover and move, it works like a helicopter. The only thing that affects motion on it that isn't a thruster is an applyForce() system that works as a break.

  • @Teh1337bix are you blind or retarded? or both? hes using wire mod, using just thrusters and rangers and some other chips. so in other words, hes just using thrusters, and i bet yours is alot worse than this one

  • this is gunna sound stupid but how did you get the side panels at a 45 degree angle? cos im working on a hovercraft and i need to know how.

  • shift+e while holding a prop makes the prop spinnable in "45 degree mode" (if you understand what i mean - sry german^^)

  • it's like this: He made a few rangers faceing every direction, and if one of them detects teh world, that means that the satilite is leaning in that direction. so, it activates, making it upright again.

  • lol i tried to build it too and werid is i had the same design as u did and it acted the same XD i think u need like to make the thrusters force to check with the distance cause if distance realy shot than u want it to use greater force that will fix the problem i guess :S

  • Learn to use delta chips with the rangers. Use them in an expression chip and it won't wobble around at all. Perfectly stable.

  • but you have to use 1 chip per thruster ^^

  • Yeah, each thruster needs its own delta value. Though the re-wiring needed is a small price to pay compared to the results imo.

  • using expressions a little more complicated becuz u need to kno wut to place in the input output

  • Actually it isn't any more complicated, you just need to know what to write in there. If you're doing Java or something then parts of the code will seem familiar, but it's pretty much all math and you don't need to be a programmer at all. Check out the wiremod wiki for different expression... expressions.

  • Learn yourself some basic equations and here ya go so you dont have to go searching

  • if you also use a range on the comparison chips it will become more stable

  • You need to add delta chips before wiring the thrust to the thrusters, this will remove the serious over-compensating.
