I like to play in drop D, it still give a more chunky sound then standard... I will admit that I can only play basic stuff but I dont give a fuck playing guitar is all about having fun... Heavy metal isn't about how low you need to tune down your guitar. It's about HOW you play it. Most people think that, "Yeah, drop C is as heavy as it gets". But I do agree that it sounds better, but it's really HOW you express your feeling through your music.
