First, most of the "titles" like "Christian" are simply created. They have no meaning. How can you convert Christians to Judaism if their mother wasn't a Jew? What really confuses me is if my mother was Jewish and I became atheist, I am still considered a Jew, yet if my mother wasn't a Jew but I keep all the laws and follow all of the beliefs but never go through the formal ceremony I am still a non-Jew. When the first temple was destroyed the Rabbi's created their own way to worship YHVH that had nothing to do with the laws of YHVH. These traditions have lasted up till now. They revere the Talmud over Torah and believe that any laws they create YHVH has to obey. I know for a fact that YHVH did not go into covenant with this thinking.
@MrVirtualCoder Rabbinical Judaism (or Talmudic Judaism as it is sometimes referred) is not a subset, it is a replacement (I suppose one could even argue that it is anti-Christ in that 'anti' means 'in the place of'.). All Jewish sects adhere to it. It has replaced Mosaic Judaism. There are, however, more and more Jews realizing that Mosaic Judaism is the right path and have accepted Yeshua as their Messiah. This is now called Messianic Judaism, but is really Mosaic Judaism.

First, most of the "titles" like "Christian" are simply created. They have no meaning. Paul (Saul) was still recognized as a Jew when he stood before the Sanhedrin to testify his actions with regards to Yeshua. Titles mean little to nothing. How can you convert Christians to Judaism if their mother wasn't a Jew? What really confuses me is if my mother was Jewish and I became atheist, I am still considered a Jew, yet if my mother wasn't a Jew but I keep all the laws and follow all of the beliefs but never go through the formal ceremony I am still a non-Jew. Seems a bit like hypocrisy to me.

@ValRoyD I really mean that we don't have to KEEP the old Law anymore. Love the Lord completely(all of your heart, soul, mind) and love your neighbor as yourself are the two greatest commandments. All the Law and the Prophets hang on those two(Matthew 22:36-40).
It's getting rid of the old system in exchange for the new, despite that the new meets the old and still supersedes it. All the same, we would be given freedom from the law, but not to be held in bondage in sin again(Romans 6:14).

@MrVirtualCoder Rabbinical Judaism is just like Roman Catholicism in that, men have taken the Word and supplanted it with their own laws and traditions. When the first temple was destroyed the Rabbi's created their own way to worship YHVH that had nothing to do with the laws of YHVH. These traditions have lasted up till now. They revere the Talmud over Torah and believe that any laws they create YHVH has to obey. I know for a fact that YHVH did not go into covenant with this thinking.

@MrVirtualCoder Rabbinical Judaism (or Talmudic Judaism as it is sometimes referred) is not a subset, it is a replacement (I suppose one could even argue that it is anti-Christ in that 'anti' means 'in the place of'.). All Jewish sects adhere to it. It has replaced Mosaic Judaism. There are, however, more and more Jews realizing that Mosaic Judaism is the right path and have accepted Yeshua as their Messiah. This is now called Messianic Judaism, but is really Mosaic Judaism.

The Jews which began with Abraham were suppose to be a chosen peope, a priestly nation. That was a long arduous journey, going around the mountain, which by the way didn't take a 40 year journey even then. The reason it took so long was with all the signs, (Jews require a sign), they were constantly reverting to the pagan practices and falling into disobedience. Im listening to the 2/84 audio file at bejewish.org, and I want to say that I do not prioritize converting Jews to Christianity, but give every human equal weight. And perhaps there are Christians that believe that the new testament teaches that jews are to be prioritized, but they would be in error. Just an FYI.
