....in charanam, the lyric says "kaasiyile ithai kayilai enru.....",: the sweet impact of this music makes you realise that clear direction, gathi, is offered here, some times i think all one has to do is to close the eyes and listen to this excellent rendering......to get some clue for that suopreme direction. thank you very very much for this!
Does'nt sound the SAME as Bihag in Hindustani classical! The seminal work in Bihag is Bhimsen Joshiji singing 'Lat uljhe suljha re balam' or Kishori ji singing 'Mohe jaane de, kanha sang milan jaane de' both drut bandishes, would love to upload both versions but I dont know how!I
It sounds good

May their sweet voice live long for centuries to come to cherish the hearts of people like me who feel music is everything and music is divine!

Even though they have different voices it sounds the like only one singing, when they sing together!
I just love their voices - especially Gayatri's.. Wonderful!

You,I suppose Mean 'Marry' and NOT 'merry'! You can use 'spellcheck' you know! T think they should allow 'emoticons' as well

The meaning of the song:
"Is this what is called Tillai Sthalam? i.e. Chidambaram. I did not know all these days.
As I am perplexed whether it is this or that (way to attain salvation), this place calls me out to provide me a clear direction to achieve salvation.
People of this world tell us that this place is Kailasam (or Kayilai) - Lord Siva and Parvati's abode. As you seek it, you realize it in this place.
Is this what Tillai is? How come I did not know it all these days!"
