@xWeMakeVidsx Accuracy, stabilizing the your sidearm by reducing the length of the weapon to your shoulder. They teach you to do this in the American Military.
@xWeMakeVidsx Gets the muzzle on target early on and helps you build up your sight picture - sights might not be at eye level but the gun is already pointing at roughly the correct location, and should be on target as your arms lock. I think Magpul had a pretty good video of this vs "bowling" and "fishing", explaining things.
You see most "tactical" draw feature it, it's just really slow and pronounced here. When reviewing my own range visits, I've noticed I do it also...
