guau! maravilloso por un momento pense que tenia un cassette dentro jeje y que tocaba solo jeje pero mis respetos para ese talentoso ninho observen que ni siquiera se pone nervioso y la toca con gracia pues la vive de principio a fin
Dear everyone: These comments are hilarious. You realize he's a grown man now, and has a huuuuuge repertoire... If his parents forced him to play like many of you suggest, he would have grown to hate it and wouldn't have stuck with it, now would he? But he still plays piano a lot even now!
@raditzthecabbage oh wake up moron... so any kid that learns a language by the time he's 6 is a geniUs too? cause music is just another language you know..
the brain is a sponge at that age, and a proper teacher and motivation can get any halfwit to acquire proper technique... it's stupid thoughts like this that keep aspiring students down.. thinking "well i'm not a genius" when it has nothing to do with "genius" and everything to do with the right musical education
@pinkfloyddwc He's six for fucks sake, I bet you can't even play pieces like this and if you can, then you're very cruel. I'm sure Chopin would have loved to hear this fun piece being played by someone of his age.
@raditzthecabbage just saying he's not a genius ... just a kid that started early and had a good teacher... not sure what's cruel about that lol ... he's very lucky in fact!
look around on youtube you'll find hundreds of kids doing the exact same thing.. it's seriously just like learning a language
we'll see if he's a genius when he reaches the age where he can interpret the music
@pinkfloyddwc dude. apperantly he was only taking lessons for SIX MONTHS!!!! look hi up now. he is older and like a pro pianist. he was a musical genius.
good god. just the fact that this kid can reach the pedal is astounding to me. those who criticize, regardless of musical skill or knowledge, have to take into account that at six years old, most kids are playing twinkle twinkle, not chopin let alone the minute waltz. kudos. I played this piece a few years ago (i am a teenager) and never played it nearly as well, despite the lack of emotion in the video. Nevertheless, I am blown away, and any less would be an insult to this kid's potential.
OK I must admit he plays good, but still - everyone can learn the notes and play the song, but music is about HOW you play it too. I see many people playing very hard pieces of music (like this one), but there is no emotion in there. I think people should learn about the song too, and then, when everything is good and when you are ready - enjoy while playing your song:) *I hope people, who read this, understand, what I am trying to say here*
@WingDemon1 Firstly, not everyone can learn the notes and play the song. That comment tells me that you are not a pianist.
Secondly, this kid is six years old. He hasn't begun to understand the nuances and phrasing that is required of a Chopin piece. However, I see so much potential here. Considering he's only been studying music for 6 months at this point, I'd say he has already picked up some of the emotion of the song.
I understand what you are trying to say, and you are still wrong.
I love how all pianists have their little quirks... I have this really weird thing where when I play Fur Elise, my left hand starts to move... but it's kinda comforting :D nice job~~~!!!!
makes u sick- awfull robotical " child mind devours info" kinda performance- to play fast means nowt - he shuld stop b4 he ever gets to bach or mozart or beethoven- twat!
haha i bet when he got on the piano, alot of the parents were thinking "aahh another boring childish piano show", then when he started busting the keys, everyones like...."fuck"....
i agree.....The head of keyboard studies at B'ham Conservatoire told me that great pianists play well when they CAN play the piece rather than laboriously memorising the piece robotically. Often mistakes occur when a piece has been over-practised.
no i mean...there are better ways for a child to spend his time improving.... learning a larger number of easier pieces means more combinations of notes acquired
Yes, he is amazing. That's not the point. But he is not ready at this stage to perform this piece in public, would that be a school auditorium or elsewhere.. Guess he's a bit stage shy also, playing before an audience is always sraring depending on the individuals and their experience. Was I his teacher, I would have let him play the pieces he plays perfectly, not this one...not yet. But again, amazing talent, no question about it.
He did. This was recorded in 1986. Did you read the description before you decided to criticize his playing? Let's see... a six-year old on a wretched upright in a school auditorium.. I think it is a bit unreasonable to ask for multiple degrees of tonal finesse.

"Pianists with 8 years of experiance starts with something like this"... I would also suggest some remedial English lessons be on your list as well :-)
First of all.. Sorry for beeing hungarian. Second; No matter what gift or tallent a musician has,he needs to develope feelings and techniques that require years!! And there is no way around it. Plenty of musician like the little kid up there will lack the ability to play meaningfull, gracefully, with dignity and nobility.
Cherny etudes, sonatinas,Bach, mozart sonatinas is what the little kid should play. Shame on the teacher...
