The black widow venom is a beast of a ball! I've shot 5 279's with it some 278's a 289 and a 297! I'm about to throw 300 with it :D Has a lot of backend and a very great ball!
I throw the Venow (pin out) and the Solid (pin in) and I love them both. Since I got them 4 months ago, Ive been on the most improved list since.. Both great on any lane conditions in my opinion.
well same i got the normal black widow and the pearl and i just ordret the venom you guys say the pearl is the best at the end but im not that sure i actually like the black widow normal ball better than pearl at the maps we are playing on in denmark i hope that venom is a really great ball since i actually dont like my pearl that much sometimes my spareball is better:O
im sorry but i strongly disagree. i just bought the venom 2 days ago and 10 minutes after getting it drilled i threw 15 straight. it is definately the strongest ball in my line up. it has soo much back end and i can virtually throw it on any lane condition and have massive amounts of hook
Now remember the Venom is the newest hammer ball and is the most aggressive but i found for my shot the venom is a better shot because its forgiving and is just slightly less aggressive than the venom. They are both Excellent bowling balls and i plan on keeping a strictly Spider arsenal
i have to disagree with you on the vemon being the most aggresive ball, but everything else, but im sure in your statement you meant to say the vemon is slighty less agressive than the bite.
Yeah My Bad the Venom is a little less agressive though claimed to have the Most agressive coverstock by Hammer. I have both the Pearl and the Bit and on the house im at the bit is a beter choice because of its more gradual hook but i found it to hit the pins harder than my Pearl which i keep if i need an agressive snap on the back end on drier lanes where my bite would hook to soon.
I just got the venom yesterday and i shot a 268 my second game with it. The pins erupt every time i hit the pocket! The backend on the ball is great. cant wait to bowl a 300 with this ball!!!
My Venom destroys the pocket, pins fear this ball, i'm a lefty, and when this ball leaves a 7 pin, the pin still shakes around out of fear before the rack grabs it and straightens it out, only to be destroyed by my spare ball
i agree.. my pearl has the most violent snap at the backend even more than the bite.. the only reason i say that becuz the pearl goes down further and the bite, well, its bite the lane early.
I have the Vemon and The Pearl I love both. I brought the Vemon the week it came out and the first night I shot my second 600 of the month. I'm only a 160 bowler so me shooting a 600 I feel great. just with having they Widow twins as I call them I have been able to improve my avg by like almost 20 pins. the vemon explodes the pock and the pearl goes long and hard. I love them both. Lets see what the winter brings using the widow twins

I just bought one the day it came out and shot a 745 in the first set I rolled with it. I love this ball more then my other two widows. It goes long and it hits the pocket like no other ball Ive thrown. I recommend this ball to anybody who can bowl. This is the best ball to hit the market in a while

i threw my first time on a 43 THP and i had a 289...it isn't my ball it was a friend of mine's bowling ball...it's a crazy ball...loved it..

You can make your ball play the lane longer or break a little earlier according to your pin placement.

Id Recommend the Bite its a aggressive ball destroys the pins and is fairly forgiving

yeah man the bite is a fuckin beast but i rarely bring that out.. for me its overkill.. its like killing a flea with a sledgehammer.
