  • i just lost respect for achilles. this actor sucks.

  • Is this the continue of the movie TROY?

  • "Agamemnon wants Troy, not her, so why are we trying to kill each other????"

    Funniest line in this part

  • Achilles is portrayed terribly in this..

  • Loool - Hector dies like a pussy!

  • 0:8:00 :D :D

  • OMG, is this the broke back mountain movie?

  • Hector, you imbecile....

  • This looks like a theatre ^^

  • they made hector seem like a pussy in this movie.....weak ass actors...

  • @naturesociety you should read the book. Neither movie has accuracy. Movies are meant to glorify and their was nothing glorified about this war! And Hector was a bad ass, Achilles was too but he had hair, wasn't a giant and he was believed to be evenly matched to Hector.

  • Was this filmed with a calculator? Anyway , i just watched bits and pieces from "Troy" , especially the battle with Achilles and Hector , and i have to say the difference between the perception of Achilles as a character in "Troy" and this miserable pile of ass raped elephant turds is astonishingly painful. Achilles is not a monster or an animal , he is a man looking for glory , and like it or not this was the way to get glory back in the day. I've seen two cells having better fights than this!!

  • This is pathetic.

  • what a faggot that achilles its supposed to be a great fight not some lazy spear throwing not even fair fight O_O

  • this movie isn'y good....who the hell made this....fucking retarded...

  • this movie is not even CLOSE to the real Troy story!!!

  • wtf why r they talking

  • *Paris goes to fight* Mother seems perfectly fine.

*Hektor goes to fight* Mother: NOT MY FIRST BORN!

    favouratism much??

  • he doesn't once mention patroclus? isn't that why he looked to kill hector?

  • WTF

  • so fake dammit

  • This whole scene is awkward.

  • that bald bastard

  • "troy" is a lot better than "helen of troy"

  • Why does no one even mention that the center piece of the entire Iliad comes down to "I don't fight that way!" - "I do!"? This is ridiculous! And don't even get me started on the image of the bald (oh no it's not bold I meant although I wish) Achilles who "stands for Agamemnon". He looks like Vin Diesel! This film is a joke and even less deserving to be mentioned along with the Iliad than the Brad Pitt version. At least in that one they had their cast sort of right.

  • um hector actually challenged one of the great archeans and Ajax volentered just saying and achilles didnt want to fight cause agamemmnon took away brisies which was his "girl friend"

  • um hector actually challenged one of the great archeans and Ajax volentered just saying

  • the bastards have poisoned him and still he's almost winning! he should've won!!!!

  • Why was Hector so slow to react to the spear?

  • 4:05 classic

  • haha! his sword broke! ..........

i might've let you go. probably not. LOL!!

  • haha! his sword broke!

  • this is dumb, nothing like the iliad

  • Well, Why they don't cut the girl whit a knif, just because they faigth them about the rigth or lefth side?

  • Well, Why they don't cut the girl whit a knif, just because they faigth them about the rigth or lefth side?

  • what the fuck hector is being an acutual man who actually fight and Achillies is just a bitch who throws a spear. this movie is to inacurate and just suck everyone is a bitch

  • @Elxonl in alot of ancient cultures and even with the samurai wich are more modern. they all tried to keep as much a distance in battle for a better survival rate. so in a sense this is more realistic. the actual samurai main weapon is the bow not the sword wich alot of western peopel think. or even some japanese people probably. most spartans and warriors used spears first to keep enemys back and throw alot. swords were usually a last resort type of thing. duels could last minutes to hours.

  • Achilles is the MAN!

  • @ShowYourWorking it must have worked REALLY well........lol

  • this movie is stupid as shit and more inaccurate than TROY

  • why is Achilles fat?

  • @snakesrule111 its called muscle

  • Dis Paris get stabbed or posion why did suck after the twirl I didn't see blood???? o-O

  • OMG!!!!

    Hector!!!

    I Cant Believe It!

    He Was My Favourite :(

  • I used to think achilles was cool. Nevermind... Cheater...

  • Menelaus > Paris

  • weew.suspense. they look like kids. the side says"wuhooo' then seconds late th other side cheers aswell.

  • gosh. then the sword goes wheck! laughtrip.

  • Okay, achilles is a hypocrisy this time. Moans about fighting rabble, then cheats against hector? Nice one lad XD

  • wtf achilles had honor, they made him look like a complete looser in this, he had honor and was a fighter who would fight fair

  • Rufus Sewell holds this movie, nothing else is that interesting.

  • @stitchgrl777 such a freaking hotty :)

  • I love how they didn't even mention the fact that Achilles refused to fight for Agamemnon until Patroclus was killed.

  • @NS17 yes i know and achilles was very upset with agamemnon because of briseis

  • did they put posion on the darts or something? cause he started going all funny after he cut himself.

  • Despite what people think, i believe they did a good job staying true to the Hector vs. Achilles fight, since it wasn't some huge fight like the movie "Troy" made it out to be, and at least in this version, they actually kill Paris

  • @Lumadil paris doesnt die until later. he kills achilles, and then later a friend of heracles kills paris with heracles's bow and poisoned arrows.

  • @zz13x I know, i was just stating apart of why i liked Helen of troy better than the movie Troy. aye, the arrow had the Hydra's blood on it. Paris must of stunk leading up to his death

  • @lordaltair if he threw it Achilles would still live Achilles weakness is his heel hector does not know

  • @lordnaruto415 in "troy" when achilles and hector fught, hector aimed six times for achilles's heel

  • Wow, each part, Agamemnon just becomes more and more of a fucking bastard. Just sayin.

  • Hector Hector Hector... this is a battlefield not a drama... when the enemy offers u first through and u could kill their strongest right then and there... do it or be prepared to die, such an idiot.

  • out of all of the films i have seen and the books i have read that has to be in my mind the most unheroic death of Hektor, " i do not fight that way" sorry but then you choose terms that you will fight to. he was in a dual in which he refused to fight the oponent. homer would be displeased with this part of the film.

  • I'm not sure if you actually read "The Illiad", but in that, Hector originally ran from Achilles. he was chased by Achilles around the walls of Troy 3 times, before Athena deceived Hector into stopping by appearing as one of his friends claiming that he'd stand side by side with Hector to fight Achilles. In this they portrayed Hector as an honorable warrior. if he would of won by throwing a spear at someone's back, it wouldn't be a real victory.

  • oh God what a movie, grow some balls, you Greek heroes!

Menelaos to Paris: Can u walk?

    Soldier: WTF????

    ROFL

  • Brendan Fraser fighting the mummy of Achilles would have made a better idea for a movie then this script,it's ridiculous! It has nothing from the Iliad except the names of the characters, that is where all the resemblence stops...

  • 4:12

    paris is like

is this fool crazy? or pathetic?

  • i totally saw that guy at 6:16

    it was f-ing funny

  • achihlles was not dishonourable in his fights.

  • Menelaus is younger in this movie, in the other versions he was old and fat. He's not very barbaric in this version, hes rather arrogant and rude at times.

  • Why can't Archilles at least have hair?

  • i know right lol

  • Oh, man. they got archilles all wrong.

    he's not that cruel ;o

    poor hector.. =(

  • Achilles from this movie looks like that big bald giant from that movie Trot, who got killed by Achilles in the opening scene.

  • I love the guy at 6:16 who is totally like "what the fuck!"

  • Hector. ]:

  • Achilles was such a brutal bastard in this movie

  • He was brutal, but he is incorrectly depicted in this movie. He was not a skinhead musclehead. He was a far more complex character.

  • @furtherdefinitions fucking agreed

  • Achilles doesn't seem to have much emotion in this movie. In the old version, and the remake version, Achilles is a rather more good looking fighter.

  • that was cool the god must be on your side...haha

  • why is achilles all fat and overweight too and out of shape.... this version sucks compared to Troy

  • 0:25 is hilarious. I love how his face just says stop it and then at 0:28 he's like I said stop it.

  • Menelaus was a nice guy. Helen should have just stayed with him.

  • ACHILLIES ! ! ! ! ! ! !

    Str8 G

  • Achilies is such a heartless bastard in this movie....

  • Wow, the fighting is TERRIBLE in this movie.

  • actually, it's just more realistic than in other movies. that equipment was HEAVY!

  • Well this part of the movie just took a big steaming poop on Homers version of events.

  • I hate Achillies in this version-saw it before I saw Brads-I liked Brads

  • In fact this is my favorite part.

They made Hector such a weakling in this movie. In fact they made all the main characters weak in this movie. Except for Agamenon.

This is supposed to be about War. Not some soap opera bullshit.

  • Hector was kind of overrated, in the odessy he did get injured quite alot.

  • @loren1283

Which explains why Troy lost. Their best warrior was injury prone.

  • @coldlynx I agree with the characters being weak, not much of a nice script actually. But I also think that this is not a war movie, that's why it's called "Helen of Troy", I believe that's the point, putting the story from another point of view, which would be Helen's (in some kind of way) and making it more historical drama than action movie.

  • @Danyhg92 its between realistic and non. war was very ceremonial bacl then many duels to make decisions and alot of this type of stuff, honor was a big deal back then to most people. unliek today in war for the most part. you also have to consider people were more careful then. sense a minor would could mean death. duels lasted for long periods alot of the time. swords were last resort weapons usualy people preferred spears and shield for throing and the range. battle wise its realistic

  • @WhiteTheTruth alot of modern peopel seem to think chargeing in head first and swinging like a maniac and blood everywhere is the warrior way, wich in reality that gets you killed in seconds. now without weapons that mgiht work alot but in actual combat calm and being alert is better and when you do strike strike like a lion. just how natures predators hunt. they calm quet and focus there strikes tell the last moment.

  • @coldlynx Actually, to the ancient Greeks, war and soap opera bullshit are the same thing.

  • @JakobDailes That makes no sense?

Are talking about the Greeks being into art, theater, science, philosophy, etc?

What the hell does that have to do with this horribly acted and produced movie?

  • @coldlynx If you actually read the Greek myths (from the original sources) war is a soap opera to them. Ever read the Iliad?

  • @JakobDailes Your an idiot if your trying to compare a "soap opera" to the "Illiad". One of the greatest stories ever written.

  • @coldlynx Oh really, so throwing a hissy fit when your girlfriend gets stolen by another guy, crying to your mom, and throwing ANOTHER hissy fit when your boyfriend dies, then crying to moomy again, then... that's not soap opera material?

  • Agemennon was the best thing in this movie.

Everybody else were a bunch of sissy bitches.

  • I liked achilles when Brad played his role.

  • Agamemnon handed him poisoned spears, Menalaus knew it was wrong to kill Paris under the circumstances, but it doesn't mean he had the right to treat Helen like a whore on auction.

Here Paris loved Helen, to Menelaus she was a prize a thing.

  • Hector's honour forces him not to forfeit despite everyone's calls. maneleus should've said something...it's his and paris' problem. ahh

  • F*** U, Achilles!

  • I HATE YOU ACHILLES!!!!!

  • "Tell Me, does she ever speak of me?" Awkward!

  • lmaooo thumbs up!

  • ya none of this goes with the book. Troy was more accurate than this.

  • so menelaus really loved helen after all. andit wasnt lust he felt but love

  • u couldnt tell it from the begging ooo wow

  • is archillis the bald guy by any chance.

    And wtf? another killing.

  • Okay, what. the. fuck???! Achilles was nothing like that in the Illiad. Hell, the illiad was in many ways, mainly about Achilles being the greatest greek warrior of all time! But in this movie they make him a cheap fighting lil bitch. They make Hector out to be weak pussy also, but Paris the strong warrior?? What??! And what about Patrocles getting killed by Hector which drives Achilles to engage him mono y mono? And where's Hector's impenetrable armor?? These problems totally ruined it for me.

  • man achillies was not fucked this movie is troy with brad pitt shows better facks dont belive this shit

  • men and there testostarone

  • ha Paris has no testostarone, he's more of a female than Helen is. I mean if he can't fight for her than he doesn't deserve her.

  • Paris was poisoned - this is why he couldnt fight!

  • i agree at first i was on paris' side. but after this fight, im starting to like menelaus' more.

  • Fuck you achilles if he was like that, he is not even worth to remember. i hope he suffered when paris shot him with his bow ( In real he died that way )

  • this is stupid why are the greeks reported as the bad guys? paris and the trojans are the bad guys here!

  • i agree

  • i dont fight that way

    i do!

  • I hate Achilles in this movie!

  • brad pitt makes a better achilles ( no homo)

  • agree.

  • achilles = the most blood thirsty badass of the trojan time

  • dont forget he is bisexual :} im not hating on that

  • Paris looks like a giraffe at 01:21- 01:22 xD And I like the chat scene between him and Menelaos. Another funny thing is the soldier without neck at Menelaos' right side (left side as we see it) at 08:00.

  • rofl

  • Agamemnon uses poison?

    SO UNFAIR!!

  • i think paris should have died because he wouldn't want someone stealing his wife lol

  • ...its his wife..but they are not really inlove... true love is paris and helen

  • I know right lol

  • menelaos is a nice guy but has a bad influence from his brother.

his brother is greedy for power

and achilles is just an asshole

  • well in the movie troy brad pitt was hot lol

  • oh i know!! achilles was awesome in troy!! here he is just creepy....lol

  • i know right lol

  • what was up with paris' arm? it was only a cut..

  • Menelaos's sword was poisoned, so, when he cut Paris with it, Paris had the poison in his blood that weakened him^^ I was confused, too, I wondered why he would fall asleep during a fight =)

  • spear..not sword...:)

  • the end of the javelin has poison

  • it was poisoned...:)

  • the extra at 6:16 "oh come on now!" ROFL!!! xD
