These galaxies couldn't have been around before the big bang, so now we believe the universe is 13.7 billion. This is not our last telescope folks. I guarantee when we discover a galaxy 20 billion light years away, we will then say the universe is 20.7 billion years old. Oh look 30 billion, must be 30.7, and so on for infinity.

Why would a God care for our little lump of rock and iron, floating around a star in a galaxy filled with billions of solarsystems, in a universe packed with billions and billions of galaxies and maybe in a multiverse with countless universes.

This "big bang theory" is described in our holy book, as are many other scientific facts that were just recently discovered. It's very interesting when you think and realize that these facts discovered a few years or decades ago, were already written in a book from centuries ago.

We have no idea what happened before Plank time. You apparently miss the concept of a space-time singularity, as there would be no "atmosphere," which is a property of celestial bodies and not the universe itself. There was no ball of fire, no explosion, rather, a rapid expansion of space time. Simple rules, just like the laws of nature, can create infinite complexity just as fractals do. The vacuum energy is plenty enough to account for the mass in the universe.

I know there is no god who created everything but I think the big bang theory based upon the echoing of the bang and the expansion of the universe is just....poking in the dark. I don't think anybody really has a clue about the beginning. I also don't think we will ever reach the nearest star because we just lack the recources and intelligence to do so. Why would a God care for our little lump of rock and iron, floating around a star in a galaxy filled with billions of solarsystems, in a universe packed with billions and billions of galaxies and maybe in a multiverse with countless universes.
In about 4,5 billions years from now our star will die, i hope by then we have built spaceships to venture to the stars and inhabbit other worlds because i dont think there is any God saving our ass from extinction.

This "big bang theory" is described in our holy book, as are many other scientific facts that were just recently discovered. It's very interesting when you think and realize that these facts discovered a few years or decades ago, were already written in a book from centuries ago.

You apparently miss the concept of a space-time singularity, as there would be no "atmosphere," which is a property of celestial bodies and not the universe itself. There was no ball of fire, no explosion, rather, a rapid expansion of space time. Simple rules, just like the laws of nature, can create infinite complexity just as fractals do. The vacuum energy is plenty enough to account for the mass in the universe.
