  • Really? THIS VIDEO IS A LIE. I'm American-Chinese, born and raised in America but I visit China almost every summer. Rarely do I see any of these so-called Chinese policemen that 'enforce cruel laws.' I only see them in movies. You may hate the Chinese, but know that not everything you see through a second-hand source is true. Also, every Chinese person is an individual and different, just like any other person. Don't be ignorant and say "I HATE CHINESE PEOPLE." You're hating billions.

  • in the end there can only be....

    one nation

    one country

    one rule

the spirale of death will not diminish unless we are one.

  • One country

    One people

    One leader

    Motto of Nazi Germany

    Just sayin'...

  • Thank you for this video. I love Tibetan rituals and monasteries. There is a good documentary on youtube that showcases Gaden Monastery, currently relocated to Mundgod, India - Tsem Tulku Rinpoche Goes Home!! (1). Nice to have a glimpse of Tibetan monastic lives through the video.

  • FREE TIBET!! SAVE TIBET!!!

  • Free my ass!!!!

  • Free Tibet

from all the LOOTING, TORTURING, KILLIING and all sorts of other nasty stuff that the Colonial chinese communist party has been doing since they INVADED independent Tibet 60 years ago.

1,200,000+ dead were reported to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. (not tens of thousands)

  • Only 1,200,000+ dead??? They have been lazy then. How about kill all the fucking tibetans??? The fucking retard race, no contribution to human race at all!!!

His Holiness the Dalai Lama???? What a fucking moron, He thinks he is holiness, my ass, what a fucking liar.

You fucking tibetans please do this world a favor, kill yourselves all, I am fucking sick of your bullshit Free Fucking Tibet. Who gives a shit????

  • The MORONS at the top of the Chinese Communist Party are the RETARDS pal.

You do not get a Peace Prize for lying !!!!

The chinese communist partys Central Propaganda Department has the BIG LIE technique sorted, and manages to fool most of the world. But some of us are not brainwashed by chinese communist party LIES !!!!!

You care because you comment and I care because I bother to reply.

  • "You do not get a Peace Prize for lying !!!!"

    This is a lie

  • You might have been watching CCTV too often.

    CCTV = Corruption Central Television

  • Is this a joke....If dalai lama doesn't deserve Nobel peace prize... who do u think should get it??? Mao ...who is responsible for the death of 20 million people around the world. Or Hu Jintao?? who declared martial law in tibet in 1989 to crack down on peaceful protesters.

You definitely need to get ur facts right. Be human and think about ppl suffering inside tibet as a human being.

    CHINA LIES..PEOPLE DIES......FREE TIBET

  • Holy my ass. He is a lier.

  • On behalf of all decent and honest Chinese people I want to offer the Tibetan people our sincere apologies and I hope that one day they will receive at the very least the true autonomy and freedom that rightfully belongs to them. I'm also ashamed at how low some low-paid CCP agents on YouTube will steep to promote their lost cause. They are just starving dogs who enjoy eating their own vomit and bathe in their own excrement.

  • I DID NOT WATCH A SINGLE MINUTE OF THE BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008, NOT A SINGLE MINUTE, I DID NOT SEE THEIR FIREWORKS OR ANY OTHER OPPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA. keep buying Chinese product and you promote Communism, and if you buy UK and USA products you sponsor secret covert worldwide governments, black water, Enron, halliburton secret private armies, like the ones we all saw after Katrina Hurricane, it's all about world domination. Then what do we do? who do i buy my crap from?

  • This was over 50 years ago. As an American living in China myself, how about you guys put effort into the current massacre happening in Iraq? Tibet is part of China. It is highly unlikely that this will ever change. Don't forget that the Tibetan monarchy was extremely brutal before the Chinese arrived.

  • Please ring a university in the US and ask to talk to a history professor. She will tell you that Tibet and China are separate countries.

The chinese communist party has been in Tibet 60 years too long. Tibetans are not happy at all and would very much like their country back.

  • Tibetans have been subjects of China for thousands of years. Tibet can't modernize on its own either. In fact the Chinese have improved the lives of many 1000s of Tibetans by installing hospitals, roads, trains, sewers. Again, realize that the Tibetan monarchy was considerably more oppressive than Chinese rule. The idea that Tibet will be a separate is ridiculous. Would the US allow Hawaii to separate? No.

  • Hu will believe U

  • I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO BELIEVE HIM

  • Tibet was NEVER part of china and NEVER under Chinese control before 1950.

China and Tibet were controlled by Mongols at yuan and by Manchus at qing !!!

The overwhelming majority of Tibetans in Tibet were happy before 1950, which is definitely NOT the case now !!!!

Tibetans would like their country and freedom back !!!!

  • It's like a medicine for my thinking and I think it's time to wake up all the Tibetans in the prison.

  • have you already seen this unbelievable tibetan guitar player?

his name is tsering purtag, and i guess he's from switzerland. check out his live performance, keyword: purtag. he simply blew me away!

    free tibet

  • you are unbelievably boring. Please watch

Dispatches Undercover in Tibet (48 mins, on google video)

  • Tsering Purtag is from Switzerland. You can see this video of Tsering Purtag on youtube

    Tsering Purtag@Free Tibet Demonstration,Bern/Switzerland

  • "If the Chinese communists continue their crackdown and this leads to a worsening of the Tibet situation, I do not rule out boycotting the Beijing Olympics if I am elected president," he said. "The crackdown by force has been savage and foolish, and we condemn it severely and demand an immediate halt of it." --Ma Ying-Jeou

  • First of all. Who asked them to? We don't even want them in Tibet. Secondly, China has looted billions out of Tibet in gold, silver, lumber, minerals like borax, copper and uranium. Chinese government airbrushes people out of pictures, rewrites books and teaches lies to their citizens. China is in Tibet for the resources and the strategic military location. The water rights and the land and space itself are a big necessity to the Chinese as well.

  • No wealth flowing back into Tibet? are you freaking kidding me? china pours billions of dollars into Tibet each year. Cut the crap and cut the slander.

  • Can someone give a true reason why Dalai Lama joined PRC first and then fled later? Nothing wrong to ask to seperate if people there are unhappy or ask to be united if they want to ... same like Germany,Korea, etc

  • Can we suggest Dalai Lama needs China, and China needs Dalai Lama? As far as I know, you can not move Tibet to a free world, but without China, Tibet can not have peace ... Please comments ...Dr Cool

  • What I can see from this video is indeed ONLY HATE at cost of depicting PRC as completely evil. Sorrow felt by exile Tibetans is understandable, since their noble families were driven out for being privileged class in the slavery system before 1957. BUT it is dangerous if only their voices can be heard internationally, which is unfortunately the current situation. (These voices from exile Tibetans are selectively enlarged even when they twist the truth)

    PEOPLE, judge yourself.

  • western gov'mnts should revoke visas of chinese, boycott olympics, communist liberation HA that's a joke, restrictions on internet access, no free thought. China bought the olympics now they are going to see the real price of trying to westernize. Truth about tianemen square, Nepal, Tibet.

    BOYCOTT OLYMPICS

  • boycott chinese olympics, do everything you can to stop these atrocities. FREE TIBET NOW

  • Buddhism is a peaceful religion, focusing on personal practice for searching for kindness and ways to calm other hearts. BUT a political system based on Buddhism? THEOCRACY! As dark as medieval days in Europe.

Just read the terms in so-called Tibet exile gov, only when Dalai Lama agrees, one implement... DICTATORSHIP!

Get a rest. Free Tibet people. Are you sure about what you are fighting for?

  • Dear Charlie, IM not fighting for anything, (except mental freedom and happiness) and if you check out the Dalai Lama, he isnt either! From what I know, DLama tried to reform politics in Tibet, he knew it needed changing, I think he has quite libertarian ideals, opposite of a dictator. My Tibetan friends are the opposite of this too, otherwise I wouldnt be so happy in their company....good to chat with you..interesting!

  • IM not absolutely sure but I think I theocracy involves an all powerful God, and there is no God in Tibetan Buddhism...I will check it out..I find your arguements interesting...as you can see my practice has given me and open mind...do you have an open mind too?

  • greenishheart, I definitely do have an open mind. I have read both sides of story, but my argument is still pro-China.

I think u do need to read some historical work about the political Buddhist caste system(actually a slavery system) in Tibet under Dalai Lama before 1959. Then u may understand why noble Tibetans fled to India and why even today Tibetans(that used to be slaves) still hang Mao's picture on their walls, while in other parts, most Chinese have stopped doing so for decades.

  • In other parts of China, we have temples & monks too, people(e.g. my girlfriend) go to temples for praying, etc, but monks there are not leaders of gov.

  • BTW, greenishheart, Lamaism does not equal Buddhism. The inventor of Buddhism, if I remember correctly, is a prince in India. The original idea is to fade away and limit as much as possible one's own practical life, but devote more in one's spiritual purification so as to apprehend essence of life and to search for ways to calm other hearts. The origin is completely not relevant to practical politics. But in the Lamaism system, some monks are politician as well forming a privileged class.

  • greenishheart,

Several videos to u. Sorry if some attempt to destroy ur nice image of Dalai. But to keep mind open, we'd better read materials first and then argue with the content of them.

    1. made by a Swiss organization, about inner politics of the "exile Tibet gov in India", maybe more objective something by China.

    watch?v=uQhDll880Y4

    2. I find the comparison of Dalai with Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi interesting.

    watch?v=e6QTb35douw

    3. Tibet Diary by two Americans

    watch?v=fNeGcLoPFow

  • Another thing to mention, greenishheart,

I do find most of so-called evidences provided by exile Tibet gov(I am pro-Tibet and pro-China both, since to me they are not conflicting)that depicts current Tibet as a hell for Tibetans and other Chinese races living there very doubtful and unjustified. BUT many of these untested claims have been enlarged too much.

Maybe u can ask someone from UK who have been teaching in Tibet and other parts of China to know a bit more about PRC's minority policy.

  • what a fantastic short film of tibets history and struggle for freedom...brilliant, keep making more! xxx

  • "free tibet" will be like 'liberated Iraq ':

    Hallibur-tibet you bet!!

  • This videos should be renamed as "FAITH IN SLAVERY".

  • I am lucky that I can practice the dharma from Tibet, and it has saved me from the slavery of negative thinking, and made me a happy person, hey try it? om mane padme hung!!

  • i don't believe that western people support those lama of approving to own slaves!!!!Sigh!!!

  • om mane padme hung.......I am western person benefitting from export of Tibetan Buddhist practice...I thank the Chineese for their actions which benefit so many folk in the west...but ask that newly rich Chineese people look in their hearts and see if they are happy? Maybe they will loose something more valuable than money by eradication of Tibetan culture? Good wishes to you all...

  • Personal practice of Buddhism is one thing; let a Buddhist be a practical political dictator is another. Ur fanship of Dalai Lama harms no one if it stays ur personal practice; BUT it harms people in Tibet, if you call for his return to power!

A lot Tibetans nowadays still hang a huge picture of Mao to respect him, while in most other parts, people have stopped doing so. WHY? Tibetans who were slaves(95% of total Tibetan population during Dalai's rule) thank Mao for liberation. Open up ur mind!

  • STOP being naive! It just gives chances for over-ambitious politicians(including political monks) to manipulate you and pursue their personal greedy political purpose.

    OPEN UP YOUR MIND!

  • It dosn't help that your accusing a peaceful monk of bad intentions and trying to show a communist government who dosnt know what human rights are as the good side.

Just dosn't work in the rest of the world. The peaceful monk is the evil guy and the commi govt is good?

  • klutz2009, u are still playing a cold war thinking. Communist gov = no human right? Haha don't just look at ur own media.

And I never said commi gov is good. BTW China is still under CCP's dominance BUT the content has been evolving to a combination of Capitalism and socialism. Shocking to u? Get better informed before ur next shouting "commi evil commi evil"

The world is never lack of countries applying both socialism and capitalism policies. Don't be a in-well frog anymore. Open up ur mind.

  • well dude I'm not for the American theology of Communism not working at all. It worked well for China in most ways. Worked for Vietnam as well. But I still think the gov has it's problems.

The internet block? Explain that for human rights. What are they scared of? Foriegn media influence? India dosn't worry about that, and we are doing fine as a mostly united country.

  • klutz2009,

I've never questioned your statement that the current gov of China has its problem. We all know that, by we, I mean all Chinese including ordinary Chinese citizens and scholars and some wise people in the gov.

If u don't like censorship, some users of Youtube are even complaining about their comments being deleted. I don't totally agree with censorship of PRC gov, but they have reasons(if not good). I even have met a pro-censorship Swedish. It is an open question ,censorship=/=evil.

  • The gov has it's reasons. Do the PRC's gov decisions account for all of China and it's citizens? Sounds like a dictatorship to me.

I've seen countless Chinese blogs against the firewall. So much for a just and equal gov.

  • Klutz2009, I know u are with good intention about Tibetan people, but the real case if far more complex than u are previously told. U'd better read more materials, not just those provided by exile Tibetans or "friends" "supporters" of them, they represent only interest of 5% of total Tibetan population-- the privileged Tibetan nobles(slave owners).

  • no doubt charliezhu, As a person from India, I really undertand hidden politics. The crap India faces beacuse it's instigated from outside forces is obvious to me. I'm sure the tibet ordeal is the same for china. Matter of fact I wouldnt be surprised if India was helping the D lama under the table, just to cause instability. Just as China did with India-Pak relations.

  • klutz2009, it seems u have agreed that Dalai Lama is peaceful monk of bad intentions, have u?

If u have and insist as well that communist gov is evil, then who do u suggest to be the one to lead the Tibet region then? U or ur gov or UN?

U'd better read more PRC's minority policy towards all minorities in China including Tibetans. If u still argue with that, we can keep on discussing when I have time. Good luck.

  • yes he is peaceful. But when the dalia lama's people are in danger anything goes. If my family is in danger, anything goes. Bad intentions become strategy.

There dosnt have to be anybody to lead the tibet region. The Lama just wants an autonomous region. Let them live alone. They don't even want independance. Let China rule, but as a brother not owner.

  • klutz2009,

I am pretty surprised that an Indian like u are as aggressive as westerners on some internal issues of others as if you are entitled by some god to "tell" others what to do. I understand your compassion of lamas, since India is also a religious region. BUT Lamas =/= all Tibetans and u'd better know the real life of Lamas(or ordinary Tibetans)in Tibet now and then start your criticism. It's not fair to just listen to one-side story from the exile Tibetans(former slave-owners).

  • yeah i guess it's true i am being one sided and havn't looked at it from China's point of view. My question to you is simple.

    1. Why wont the PRC hold talks with the Lama without calling him an evil this and that?

    2. Why would the PRC have to attack tibet and reconquer it if it was already their's. Why not just move in. And if everything the PRC is doing for tibet is so awesome why are their so many Tibetians in Tibet and outside crying for freedom?

  • 1. The talk has started, under rude pressure of the west.

    2. Discontent is of course there, but has been enlarged 100 times since many are easily still manipulated by religious factor(this is why we don't support theocracy)

Discontent in Tibet have complex reasons, for this u'd better read more history. Oversimplification does not help.

If u refuse to see materials from both sides, ur attitude is not academic and objective. I have been watching and reading all versions of story for weeks.

  • charliezhu01 it is not for you to decide what people believe in. You can use all sorts of terms such as theocracy, but the fact remains that your government invaded Tibet. A country that has its own culture, its own way of thinking and its own language. Tibetans are being killed as you read this just because they are Tibetans and the iron fist of a few in your own country. Have some respect. I am for Chinese and Tibetans uniting.

  • funambularist, I respect ur attitude. And I respect the Tibetan buddhist society as well. Your definition of "invasion" is based on what u have read. But what about those u have not read?

I am not forcing u to believe anything. U have the right to hold your angle and opinion, but it doesn't mean ur view enables you to point fingers to those who disagree.

  • China knows itself better. Whatever claim about "the Tibet started to be part of China since the 1951" is biased claim for international political reasons.

For this, u need to know

    1) Old Tibet's political system.

    2) Tibet's historical relationship with ancient Chinese dynasties

    3) Constitutional law of ROC, and whether Tibetans were involved in it.

    4) Constitutional law of PRC, why there was conflicts, for what reason PLA was involved.

What is ur current understanding of these?

  • Actually, I respect any Tibetans, provided that he or she obeys the law and rules of a modern society. And I am curious of and respect the Tibetan Buddhism and the monks. The conflicts are part of China's revolution.

Today, what I agree is callings from Tibet should be fairly handled. BUT independence is impossible. There are also American educators with experience of teaching in Tibet and other parts of China. Trying to find some of them and asking them their view might be helpful to u.

  • klutz2009,

From where have you known that China rule as owner of Tibet and not as brother?

    1) Have u read any terms of the minority policy of PRC?

    2) Have u really communicated with a real Tibetan living in Tibet?

Actually I have quoted some comment from user serenasha. I guess serenasha is a non-exile Tibetan living in U.S. now(not sure about it though), maybe u can try to contact him about the real life under current autonomy province of Tibet or other areas with Tibetan population).

  • Again, if the PRC treats them like brothers why are their outcries for freedom halfway across the world. Now don't tell me the evil dalai lama contacted some secret organization in SF and told them to protest. That's absurd.

  • BTW, there have been many Youtube users, (e.g. UglyDucklingHans, TrueFaceOfChina, etc) exposed to be paid by Dalai Lama, CIA, MI6 to spread lies, cause confusion and arouse hate on China. If u doubt it, watch their comments on video "Tibet Truth, A political history"(this video is indeed a bit PRC propaganda, but at least gives u the other side of story).

Be careful when tending to agree on what they claim to be the "truth".

  • Idea needs to be spread fast! they will come up with stupidity to try and stop it.

    pajamapanda dot blogspot dot com

The IDEA OF FREE THOUGHT IS FLAWED is flawed and overvalued.

I have spent a lot of time coming to this realization.

I have come to a completely new understanding. propaganda is not the problem . The idea of free thought is flawed. We should think of thought as free market and properly judge the value of ideas.

    Post this everywhere.

  • I CAN'T believe this movie!

It is just so so so far from what I know about china, BUT please, I am CHINESE !

    what a holy shit !

  • Just another CIA propaganda

  • getting some famous retards to agree with you dosent make you right, do any of them actualy have a degree on tibetan history?

  • I had the good fortune to visit Tibet in 2002 before the railway mentioned in the video. Sinofication (process of bringing the Han Chinese culture to an area) was in full force, with the building of a monument directly across from the Potala Palace, and areas with tacky palm trees indicating tourist centers. I'm not sure of the impact of the railway, but I have heard lack of opportunity is causing dispare for native Tibetans -- they can't find work. No surprise there is an uprising.

  • it is a shame that a tortureous regime

should be honoured by the olympics

only the dull will be impressed

    and let themselves be fooled

  • RIGHT ON

  • Of course, you stupid. Any one in any country breaks law of that country is sent to prison. This movie is so dumb.

  • wth dint u hear wat she said they sent to prison just cuz they do buddhist pratice or put a pic of dalai lama! seriousely wat kind of law is dat

  • Thanks for replying. But kindly people may not know that she is lying about the truth in this video. I don't think China band any religion, especially in such a stupid way. I know it because I have seen that many public owned temples and churches are prosperous, practicing PUBLICLY and PROUDLY. They are well maintained, and FYI, most of the funding are from government.

  • Mao Zedong banned religious belief/practice as it was regarded as backward and superstitious by communist leaders. The communist party has become more lax on this policy, but still says that religious belief and membership are incompatible. Tibet, when faced with invasion, tried to stop it but was horribly out resourced. The "winners" report that Tibet "resisted peace" when actually they fought for their freedom. Monks I met in Tibet 5 yrs ago feared to practice their religion ~ it is so sad.

  • FREE TIBET

  • How do Americans treat Indians in the past and now?

  • what indians? are there any left?

  • I am not a supporter of the Chinese government. But I have to say this, and that is Tibetans are fed up with the Han Chinese is NOT because they are surpressed, but because they can't gain independence from China. In other words, if Chinese Hans were nice to the Tibetans, preserve culture whatever, we will still see the uprising, because Tibetans' goal is to be independent, not to hope Chinese Hans will treat them nicely.

  • Tibet is Native American in China

  • hillarious!

the communists didnt take power in 1950, the army on the video were not the communism army(red army), they were Black army who betrayed China, lost the war and run away and hide in Tai Wan till now.

do some reality check and research before coming here miss-leading others, u low educated low-life.

  • funnyfunnymoon111 you have a small mind with narrowed views. read a bit more accademic history before you go and post some more hillarious messages on youtube ( ROFL)

  • I am also against with the killing of the monks. But just face it, it's the reality of the world. Tibet has been under the rule of China for centuries, even before the US exists. What do you think the government will do to the rioters?

  • Tibet is belong to CHINA, and all the rests SHUT YOUR fxxxking mouth, son of BXtch!

  • haha you know what Tibet is? i dont think so..u think Tibet belong to China bc your commie gov wants you to..fukin dumbass chink..ur dad is probably one of those gov official who extorts his own ppl for you to study abroad and have internet access

  • yeh, all u damned Chinese want everything to belong to China..that is why u kill your own ppl when they have something to say..ur actions, ur thinking, ur philosophies are still the same when the Confucius and Eunuchs were running ur country..i bet that ur dad is one of those gov official who extorts ur own ppl so that u can go to study and spy abroad and have internet access to spread ur commie gov

  • Free TIBET!

  • Free Tibet?

:D such a stupid question. are you the grandson of the slave masters?

I don't think most of residents in Tibet support such small rascals, while they ask for democracy, they're killing, robbing. That's criminal, violence, understand?

  • I was born and raised in China, and all I have to say is that, I didn't learn anything about Tibet, in the text book it mention that Tibet is been part of China for centries and have a lots of history.

I felt like I'm being lied to

  • 1936 = 2008

Olympic Games in Germany = Olympic Games in China!

    Free Tibet!

  • Tibet belongs to China long before 1950 idiots!

  • And much longer than those west european colonists stole lands from other continents including the land from the Indians. Tibet will always belong to China as long as this kind of society continue to exist!

  • yes, China conquer Tibet way before 1950s, but Tibet ruled themselves

From the early 1600s the Dalai Lamas, commonly known as spiritual leaders of the region, have been heads of a centralised Tibetan administration (at least nominally),[2] and are believed to be the emanations of Avalokiteśvara ("Chenrezig" [spyan ras gzigs] in Tibetan), the bodhisattva of compassion.

  • In 1751, the Manchurian (Qing) government, which ruled China between from 1644 to 1912, established the Dalai Lama as both the spiritual leader and political leader of Tibet who lead a government (Kashag) with four Kalöns in it.[3] Between the 17th century and 1959, the Dalai Lama and his regents were the predominant political power administering religious and administrative authority[2] over large parts of Tibet from the traditional capital Lhasa.

  • Don't say you know history of China. In Qing govement, they ask Dalai to govern Tibet, but all the Dalais should be permitted by government, grant them this power, and even arrest one because he didn't obey their religion rule, what do you think? which means Qing govern Tibet. And even when the Communist party start to rule China, Dalai and Banchan also sign the treaty like other province to accept the new Chinese goverment.

    Understand? now conque! Silly.

  • the chinese govnt kills monks. I don't careif china owns tibet, you have no right to kill humans let alone monks. Spiritual beings, peaceful people, they dont have an army!

It's all going to come back to bite china. The home of China's true religion in Buddhism is being policed by china's government. You should be ashamed.

  • I am also against with the killing of the monks. But just face it, it's the reality of the world. Tibet has been under the rule of China for centuries, even before the US exists. What do you think the government will do to the rioters?

  • Free TIBET !!!

i urge all of you supporters of Free Tibet to go to every Youtube video site that has anything to do with TIbe and post FREE TIBET!!!!!!

  • CHINA IS NWO

    FREE TIBET!

  • They conquered Tibet and now they keep them inside their country.FREE TIBET!

  • this is for sjhwqh..since when tibetan, mogolian and korean are chinese languages..OMG! u're sooo ignorant..see u don't even realized that ur dum ass leader brain washed u..u're totally messed up..as for tibetan languages..tibetan language is came from india and it has a strong sanskrit base..u should educate urself..

  • china my ass..free tibet..whoever thinks china is grt!! must be really ignorant..red chinez do u even know your history..ur dum azz leader changed the whole history of ur country..u're talkin about manchu dynasty..tibet and china is totally different countries.. FREE TIBET..china now its time to let go and outta tibet

  • America's arrogant critique on the human rights of other countries are always accompanied by a deliberate ignoring of serious human rights problems on its own territory

  • American ignorance of what goes on in the world outside it is not in question but I'm American and I live in China.

America is ridden with problems like the rest of the world but I would never compare Americas human rights with Chinas.

NO COMPARISON AT ALL . China has years to go before it's even on the map compared to the states.

  • Civilian massacre in Iraq committed by US soldiers lets not forget that to.

  • America has its evil side as well, such as the systematic encroachment of native Indian lands and their enslavement in reservations.

But lets not forget, THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON OF CHINA AND AMERICA, THIS ABOUT TIBET! The whole world want's Tibet to be a free country and many of us want Uighuristan (another country invaded by Chinese in the 50's), to be free, too.We all keep a close watch on Chinese Govt. behaviour - this will ultimately determine how well Chinese goods will sell overseas.

  • did Tibet have a army at all?

  • The Chinese are the new Evil of the world.

The Chinese also torture and slaughter dogs and cats. Pollution, slave labour and greedy consumption are what China represent. In America pet food made in China was recalled off the shelves because poison was found in the food. A siberian husky I rescued and homed died as a result of this Chinese dog food. People need to stop buying Chinese products.

  • You'll be naked and all your goods will cost more than you could ever afford if China got cut off.

not going to happen any time soon

  • Tibetans don't need chinese plastic ware and beeping toys, Tibestans are accustomed to a simple livestyle in harmony with nature

  • is that your excuse for killing and hurting monks? The monks that brought Buddhism to China? The monks who introduced Shaolin Kungfu for which Chinese are so famous?

That's your excuse that the world will be naked without china's cheap goods?

WOW, you are a true disgrace to your buddhist ancestors, if your chinese. Don't tell me they werent buddhist. You know danm well they were.

  • these fucking barbarians are so jokingly stupid to comment on china

  • hahahahahaha super china????????????/ my ass!!! long live the dalai lama n free tibet u mofos!! its quite sad u chinese r not man enuff to even admit wat u all hv done to tibet and its ppl!!

  • Bullshit video.

  • burn chinese

  • Because of Tibet more and more people understand what China is. And remember this: You reap what you sow.

  • Free Tibet.

I know Chinese peoople are great. But can you do something good to the other people? If you think killing people can show your "Power" yes, you are super!

    What else can I say?

  • no I disagree. Chinese people are not great. The majority of them are capitalist and could care less about humanity, animals or how they are vastly destroying our earth. They need to be educated and brought to justice for all of the brutal tactics they have used upon the sacred Tibetan people and the poor dogs they butcher for dinner. Its appaullling.

  • caucasians invade australia and new zealand long ago, how's that?

  • to be honest . most of chinese don't understand what happen in Tibet , i've just been there .. i think the goverment support Tibetan honestly, even better than Hunor..

  • Dalai and Tibetan separatists are basically tools of anti-China groups, including some western countries and Taiwan. I believe most of the ppl who wanna 'free' Tibet have never been to Tibet of China. It was a state of SLAVERY before PLA took it over from Dalai Lama. Dalai himself is the leader of slave masters. Slaves were punished by eye gouging and other physical sufferings--Tibet had never been free. And 'Free Tibet' is a big fat lie. Tibetans are having more freedom than ever!

  • bullshit straight out of a chinamans mouth. You lie so ugly i hurts me to read your words. Tibet gave all of china BUDDHISM and you say this? Your ancestors would be ashamed of you. Dalai Lama? slavey?

Wow take your ass out of you head.

China better lay off of Tibet, looks like India, Taiwan, and Many Western countries will take advantage of tibet and cause havoc in china.

  • I think if the Sakya panditas have not taught Kublai Khan buddhism, han chinese would have been extinct by then.

  • * FREE TIBET *

  • FREE TIBET. STOP CHINESE IMPERIALISM. China accuses the USA of imperialism but china has bad track record of imperialist aggression against Tibet, India, Vietnam, and even back stabbed USSR after getting everything from nickers to nukes from the Russians.

  • I don't think racist language from either side will solve this problem.

  • Tibet also had it's own government and currency, flag and diplomatic relations with foreign countries. I am also realistic. I do not expect an independant Tibet anytime soon but change can occur slowly, one step at a time. Perhaps it won't happen in my life, but certainly, it will happen.

  • tibet has been part of China since Tang-Dynasty

central government has the right to eliminate the insurgent. Korean you should mind your own problem, you are not a uniform country how all most a century.

  • Um, I said I was born in New Zealand. Also, if you want to say that a country is China's because it was occupied by China in the past, then Korea has to be China, doesn't it? (note sarcasm in the previous sentence). Where's the proof that Tibet was part of China since the Tang dynasty? You should not forget that Tibet also conquered much of China in the past.

  • Anyway, what does the problem of Korea have to do with this? What do you expect this 14 year old to do about it?

  • The Dali Lama is not asking for Tibet to be moved from China, he is asking that Tibet become a truly autonomous region under the protector ship of China. It's the Chinese government that is twisting his words and claiming that he is asking for independence of Tibet from China. China is not negotiating in good faith, and should reconsider its stance with the Tibetan people.

  • LOL i just find it exteremly funny when scums around the world and hope the west will do the right thing...we are not stupid...we won't help you unless we get something in return..i don't think tibet has oil lol

  • Hello, i am not a big fan of china either, but i have to ask do you really think the Westerners really give a shit about Tibet? Tibet is just like another Chechenia, or Georgia hoping the West can actually help them fuck the Russians. you are too naive, whatever you want to achieve will take longer than the j3ws finding a home. Plus, when was the last time ppl look at your face and say you are Tibetan? they probably think you are Chinese!

  • I agree CoolGuy, the west wont' help, but you forget there are others that are gravely intersted in this situation.

The likes of Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, and India will definately help Tibet. In fact India gives The dalai lama protection. The things is U.S. needs a strong ally in Aisa to counter with China's growing influence in the region. India is no doubt the best bet, hence the recent nuclear pact and improvin relations between the 2. The us might in fact help out

  • Klutz2009, Those countries may be interested in the current situation, but I don't see how they can offer any "actual" help to Tibet gaining Independence. I am afraid that the world (whether they like it or not) has to accept the fact that China is going to be a major power. Let's assume it were the US doing all the killings, do I really want to ruin the relationship with US and help Tibet, a country that has less benefits than the US?

  • Klutz2009, the only way i see Tibet gaining independence is through a world war, and the communist China is defeated. But is it likely to happen? As long as China does not wage the war first, the scenario above will never happen. Will India and the West just declare war on China to free Tibet? Very unlikely. I feel sorry for the Tibetans, they are given false hope by countries like the West and India that they support Tibet's independence, but yet only verbally, there will not be anything done.

  • klutz2009, I am going to reiterate what I said in all my posts. I am not a supporter of China, and harsh realities must be faced. Why would any nation go to war, with the possiblity of losing millions of lives, to just free Tibet? You and I know the invasion of Iraq is not only about democracy. Why would any nation go to war with a nuclear armed nation to just free Tibet?

I am sorry, what you are asking is 10000 times harder than the J3ws finding a home.

  • no sir, india dosnt have to go to war with china. I think there is politics involved, all they need to do is instigate a "revolution". Such a revolution could become something big for China. Tibet will be free. You can't make people live under you, not forever atleast. War won't happen, but politics will. The chinese commmis moved in to tibet in the 50's, for absolutely no reason. If it was really their's why would they have to come in and occupy it?

  • turn away from china, buy india goods and services, help to make India an economic force. They believe in peace.

  • burningdwn, u are really funny, nonsense and a typical arrogant American shouting loud for a lot of things but actually are so innocent and lack of knowledge.

    watch?v=6BNIaToBjeA

See these Americans in the above video? U are one of them.

"Indians believe in peace" hahahaha, what an innocent claim. Don't u know the constant military conflicts between India and Pakistan?

Get more education first, then argue reasonably. Till now u have just been barking bullshits.

  • charliezhu please dude. India has a constant military conflict with Pakistan. It maintains it borders. Just tell me the last time India invaded any country for territorial reasons. Even personal reasons. India never has attacked. It's not completely peaceful, but way more peaceful than China. Sino-Indian war...ring a bell? Surprise attack..ring a bell? You territorial commis.

  • Well, talking about maintaining borders of a country, ask urself who moved into the region under debate before Sino-Indian war at first. China? I don't think so. Don't play double standard here.

Sigh...when would some Americans give up their arrogance...Maybe never, and this is why U.S.'s strategic superpower is fading away becoming less popular in world community. U have lived in propaganda of ur gov since birth and ur age is unable to give u enough experience to penetrate established lies.

  • klutz2009, u have lived in propaganda of ur gov since birth, u trust west media, this is understandable BUT ur age is unable to give u enough experience to penetrate established lies. While many Chinese with international experience can compare system of west and east, sensitive to whatever political propaganda(PRC's or west's) and own more objective view of how to improve China and better maintain harmony of world. It is just most westerners still have not realized this reality.

  • I hate us propoganda man. I despise it and never believe it. But at the same time, I don't think China is all truth. and no Kashmir was never yours. Don't tell me China was re-establishing boundaries. Go find one credible source on the net about the Aksai Chin being CHina's. Never was. You don't see us trying to establish boundries. Even if we could India just dosn't attack.

  • klutz2009,

You have a lot of established opinions on this issue. And surprising to me, if u are really an Indian, since u are as aggressive as some arrogant westerners as if u have known all and are entitled by some god to charge in issues of others.

    Several simple questions to u:

    1) Do u support THEOCRACY?

    2) Have u ever talked to Tibetans living in China now?

    3) Have u watched the videos I mentioned to user greenisheart, if u have not, do it to get some information from the other side.

  • 1) I don't support theocracy, I do support what I see and I see people crying, and monks being arrested. Monks of all people. Peaceful Monks.

2)No I havn't talked to Tibetans in Tibet or China, I've only seen them protest.

3)Why would I watch videos, someone else might tell me to watch the video on this page. Same deal back and forth

  • About Sino-Indian war:

    QUOTING user serenasha's comment on

"All Thanks to The McMahon Line of British India. The People's Liberation Army fought for us in November of 1962 in order to recover our homeland—Southern Tibet. We supported them with anything we possibly can think of. Their entire supply line was formed and directed by more than 150,000 volunteered Tibetans and 30,000 yaks. 5-to-1 to support 30,000 PLA troops. That's 15% of the entire Tibetan population in 1962."
