  • as usual a land rover saves the day

  • hopefully he killed it before he took water in the intake

  • @bghsdb36 if he killed it water would also be sucked up the exhaust, kill the cat (at least) so it is a double edged sword... :)

  • my 97 year old grandad can 4x4 betta dan dat

  • That is not even an off road car. By the way next time you go on a off road trip get a winch, your friends might not be there to get you out.

  • ha. ha. ha. ha... hydrolocked if it aint got a snorkle! u never go in that fast.

  • Dumb lymies.....

  • And he did it without a snorkel!

  • I want to Marry your Wife shes awsome. Mine would have called me a Dumbass and Cussed me out!!! Your lucky!!

  • H-H-H-H-HYDROLOCK!!

  • A redneck's last words - "HEY Y'ALL watch this!"

  • thats what happens when u take a truck that isnt lifted through a fucking creek morons

  • pussy my 99 rodeo made it across something similar with mud but than again i was 17 and didn't approach it like a pussy hopping out the window

  • @bendadickarnold you if where smart you would realize hitting water fast is the stupid thing to do. all that does is push the water right up the Air intake. Going a decent and steady speed is the key,

  • @MrPenobe Yes I realize that, this isn't my first rodeo (pun intended).

  • @bendadickarnold fair enough.

  • lol

  • that is what happens when u just slowly drive in to anything... u should have had a running start and u could of cleared it mabe could of saved u money

  • your lucky that thing isn't hydrolocked.

  • Should of takin the rangie through it first

  • Never ever take a vauxhal offroad, you can see why..............

  • you cant killa rodeo

  • Grade A dumbass

  • if there is a swift current, its not a puddle..lol

10 signs your not driving through a puddle: lol

  • yes you can kill a frontera

  • i havent seen them drive into it and im already depressed

  • This is why there is a difference between cars and boats

  • im no expert, but i think his engine is flooded.

  • thats what happens when drive on the right side of you vehicle

  • @iloveadres Hate to think what happens when you drive on the wrong side

  • LOL, that sucks.

  • @SpectreOfNorway If he shut it down before the water got sucked into the cylinders, the damage would be minimal, drain the oil, take the plugs out, and crank the engine over dry for a couple minutes, dry it for a few days, re-assemble. No biggie :-)

  • I don't understand why everyone fights over which 'brand' of 4x4 is better than the other. You could have the 'best' 4x4 but at the end of the day if you don't know how to drive one properly, you're going to bog it, flip it or whatever and look like the dick head that you probably are :P

  • @WhiskeyMiss - One of the more sensible comments. Brand wars = tedious, people get defensive as they're keen to defend the money they poured into something. Clearly certain vehicles are better suited from stock. Each to their own at least these guys gave it a go. I wouldn't have attempted that without first finding a very long pole to test the depth of the water and tied on a recovery strap to the back end. Thankfully though being as it was a frontera, nothing of value was lost ;-)

  • phale

  • why not get out and maybe use a stick to CHECK HOW DEEP IT IS?!

  • lmao there isnt even a snorkle on it no wonder it stopped

  • Fuckin stupid poms, get a real 4 wheel drive

  • Ive done alot of offroading and i still dont understand why people drive their trucks/cars up past the floorboards in water for. I'd just go buy a boat if i was gonna do that lol. But, to each their own..

  • @2:19 vauxhall frontera.

    not izusu or any other.

    a shity vauxhall

  • Haha. That's an Isuzu Rodeo with the 2.2L four banger. I have the same engine in my 2wd Roady and it's WEAK AS HELL. Something like 130hp. It would be ok in a smaller vehicle, but not in a 3,500 lb SUV.

I'm really surprised Vauxhall paired up such a weak engine to a 4wd transfer case.

  • @fhantazm i owned on of those but it was a 3.2L and a six cylnder. it had some nut to it but i would never take it to deep into the woods or though anything like that.

  • shoulda put it to the carpet my truck would went through that in reverse and 2wd

  • lol izuzu rodeo lmao

  • stop bein a cheap skate an buy a land rover

  • @2pacsofcrisp dont by a land rover buy an old ameerican truck with true 4wd

  • maybe you'd make it with a jeep :)

  • Floor it! hydrolock that p.o.s.!

  • Izuso power,

    What a joke

  • @kuzco170 I'm not a big isuzu advocate...but they do build the Duramax Diesel engine for Chevy and GMC. And I don't know about you, but those D-max's have more power than more, if not all (I'm Cummins guy, so I prefer it over Duramax) stock vehicles on the market buddy lol.

  • Thats awesome, it sounds like a fuckin boat with the exhaust under water.

  • I don't know why people think trucks are boats. they don't come with oars. funny.

  • bridge = no puddle

  • Frontiers aren’t 4x4s

  • how can you call that a baby puddle.... it has a bridge built over it......

  • @KingMB29 dont steal other peoples comments retard

  • OMg so stupid....pfff.........

  • ah english drivers pfffffffffff

  • omg so stupid

  • FAIL

  • If you were in a Landcruiser, This wouldn't have happened

  • Keep the tires spinning you would have made it ot the other side NP the front of the ccar makes a wave that goes around the vehicle helps keep the engine bay clearer...but yeah that's nasty deep

  • dont brake next time lol good video tho

  • and 4x4 does mean 4 wheel drive but does'nt mean go any where

  • nice camera...

  • Man, this is an Opel Frontera! Just because it has 4x4 doesn't mean it's real off road capable...

  • i not so sure they even sell real trucks over there

  • @rehabib2 DOH heard of Land Rover?

  • well they just stop... you never stop till u no your stuck

  • Should have had one of these ....Hummer H1 Very Off Road Drives Completely Underwater!... rated a best youtube video

  • i like the way a trusty V8 range rover pulled it out of water and V8s and water dnt mix

    funny

  • Muppet

  • nice car boat

  • If there's a bridge built across it, it's not a puddle. WARNING

  • @kbj42016 it was a footbridge

  • Dude nice work, I had my old toyota submerged in mud 3 inches over the roof and it was still going through it. I'm still finding dirt 3 years later.....lol

  • I tried this is an overly deep ford in my 206 haha, it came up to the windscreen and i only just made it out, it was a good laugh but it missfires on tickover now. had a frontera myself for offroading but it packed in. too poor to get another at the moment :(

  • stupid...

  • dumb ass only stock hight on that in a puddel that big

  • Brave for having a go.... I say your lucky....

Frontera not my cup of tea personally, but at least you use her for purpose...

For you guys in North America, you have this as ISUZU Rodeo/Amigo and Honda Passport.

  • Yeah, so crap that many armed forces around the world still use them!

  • You wont get one of them down my garden path though, will you?

  • lamers :)

  • haha! an amfibie would be better..

  • hahaha

  • fronteras are not softroader they areunder estimated, juts need the right drivers. There is no diff in the centre so a proper 4 wheel drive as well as a ladder chassis, just like land rovers, and as for them being top heavy! with a ladder chassis 4 wheels and drive train and engine with gearbox and transfer box, you would need to carry a jag on the roof for them to be top heavy.

  • OI, don't you go comparing those jokes to a Landrover!!!!!

    SHAME ON YOU!

  • Nice sounding range rover

  • you will need a starter , alternator and throw out bearing soon.

  • god what a bunch of damn cocks! Hmmm land rovers are that bad they have been around 60 years and so unreliable the military are still using them... its the only 4x4 for the job, and allways will be!

  • right on!!

  • just not around corners, like every other yank tank:)

  • i could probably do that in my stock s-10 blazer if i had a snorkal, but still cool

  • im surprised, i have a lifted, diff locked, touring setup 78 series landCRUISER, and i would have got through that, but i am so surprised how well the little frontera did! and it still started the next day!! try and do that in a landrover!!!!

    well done mate, nice work

  • Good fun in the end, shame about the comments going over the top

  • why is it that the small looking holes are deep as fuck!

  • What the hell did he think was going to happen!!

  • how not to off road:

    drive a chevy or dodge

  • amen! ; )

  • what about toyotas?

  • @hpiownzilla01 or a JEEP

  • lol, loser...

  • there english they wouldn't know any better...

  • they're

  • Ahaha! that told him!

  • jeep wrangler would go through it :)

  • i'm sure

  • yay for snorkels!!! haha

  • really? dude your surrounded by trees. many trees meant fallen limbs, fallen limbs means just check it i mean its got to be deep because they made a bridge for it... anywho im sure you learned your lesson but come on dude...

  • They soo deserved it, YOU ALWAYS GO WITH A BUDDY and his true 4X4!

  • FAIL!

  • it's a vauxhall frontera smart arse.

  • lol

  • aha should have gotten A Ford and if you dont have a snorkel u gotta Put ur foot to the floor and dont let off u let off ur fucked and how many fuckin times do i gotta say the same thing if ur gonna go offroading get a 4x4 and dontuse a fuckin sushi boat jap crap Americans are the only ones that can handle off-road USA!

  • How many times to rods have to fly through a block before people realize that flooring it in deep water only sucks water into the air intake and hydrolocks cylinders?

  • That's why we lift our vehicles and get snorkels..

  • hahahahahha how the fuck are american cars the only one that can handle off road. LAND ROVER. Your shite trucks are to heavy and basically shit boxes. Thanks

  • Hey everybody listen to "captain america" over her. one of those big morons that thinks Turkey is food, and that French is the language spoken in europe. You haven´t got a fuckin clue do you ?

  • It's worse than that, half of them don't know where their own capital state is.

  • Nice vid, I have done the same in my lightweight but slower so it held water and traction with 7 kids in! Screw all the bad comments ,manly left by children, obviously!!

  • The English always have a great time.

No Stress at all over there.

They don't have to worry about Health Care or Medical Bills.

    Love it over there.

  • idiots

  • stupid fucking BRIT ASSHOLES.

  • Yeah they can't do anything right

  • fuck you prick, bet you are a fat yank.

no stress tho. yeh they cant drive well but the brits are better than anyone else. wanker, fukin come down dudley west midlands, england and say that ile smash your fukin face in, your just a prick behind a computer slagin us off. cunt

  • Brush your teeth and we might talk.

  • lol

  • LOL fckin idiot

  • Dam it just kept gettin deeper and deeper!

  • way to be stupid ;)

  • Sooooo close. I think the car floated and lost traction, other wise probably would have had it. I know its counter-intuitive, but I think a little less speed might have got it, I think she out ran the bow wave.

  • nice, but I agree you should have tried to go all the way

  • u couldve gotten through. u were most of the way through and didnt try rocking it or backing up and going forward. o well. More speed helps too.

  • That was great. First time I have seen any one get out of a stuck vehicle onto a bridge LOL

  • hahahah i did the same thing twice diffrent trucks same hole hahaha

  • Nice Vid!

  • lol now u know to check properly...if it had a bridge it was probably quite deep...

though if u hit it faster u might have got through xD

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHA i knew at :47 something bad was about to happen! :p

  • he should have never stopped lol.

  • Oars Optional

  • lmao

  • Oops.

  • frontera officially the worst 4x4 ever buy a landy like the other guy :D good try though!

  • haha very true!

  • and what grounds are you basing that claim on? ever had one ever driven one probably not. well i have one and i know full well what they are capable of and that includes going places where land rovers cant, did you notice that the range rover didnt go thru??? thats coz he knew the same thing would happen to him. everyone needs to get over this "land rover's are the best thing since sliced bread coz they arent

  • yes i have driven a frontera as a matter a fact and i base it on the fact frontera top heavy suspension is shit ground clearence hmm.. shit again im not saying it cant go off road and maybe show a defender up atall but for going off road wouldnt you rather an aluminim body so no rust and it has been proven that a land rover defender is the best allround 4x4. hence why the shape has never really changed why change something that is almost perfect for the job it was made for.

  • maybe you havnt driven a sport then, ground clearance on 99.99% of 4x4s are shit till you put taller tyres on them. dont get me wrong i like land rovers but still depending on what kind of off roading you do they arnt always the "best" for everything, id still rather have a reliable 4x4. cost nothing to lift my sport (land rovers =£££'s) taller tyres and there is sod all wrong with it, will follow most 4x4s unless they are jcked up to fuck then pretty much only same would be able to follow

  • and f.y.i defender and frontera have the exact same wading depth, only difference is defenders leak like a bitch so would of sunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mudpluga, did you know that when the military go deep wading they drop the tailgate to allow the rear to flood to aid traction?

I wish i'd remembered that when me and my brother went across a flooded ford or about four and a half feet deep in my 1961 landrover. Oh, and i suspect engaging my free wheeling hubs would have helped too. That way, when the back floated and swung around in the current and i lost all traction, i could've driven out, instead of switching of and getting a tow...whoops

  • dont know how you can say fronteras are top heavy????????they are lower than land rovers so centre of gravity is lower. plus the sports rear part of the roof isnt metal on mine its removable and weighs next to nothing, not top heavy at all. errr no rust on landys you not heard of the very common problem with the bulkhead rusting thru???

  • Do you think maybe the term 'top heavy' was a reference to the fact that they are tits?

  • should have had a snorkel

  • wouldn't have helped that truck

  • lol. probably not but it wouldnt have hurt having it

  • Dammit, talking about a "baby puddle"...

It was deep enough to make the car float...sorta...

  • slowly in first then floor it the way trough

  • dumb pommies, why the hell are they laughing, that piece of shit never had a chance of making it across

  • it did if he was not going as fast.

  • I bet a seadoo would have made it

  • if you had a snorkel youd be all good

  • Bwa hahahahahahahahah i can laugh cause i drowned my disco......checkout the bushbashs and mudsloth channels

  • if you kept your foot on accelerator i think you woulda made it,

you shouldn't have put your foot on the brake even if you would crash...

much cheaper repair than a waterlogged engine lol

  • First, why would anyone with the intelligence to measure the depth of the water first, then drive into it knowing it is three feet deep, and much too fast too!! Second; To all you idiots that think that "Brand X" vehicle would drive through there no trouble, if you care to look, the vehicle is floating! That is why it went sideways! So no matter what vehicle you tried this in, the same would happen unless you had either 2 1/2 feet ground clearance, or allowed your vehicle to fill with water first

  • i hab auch einmal so a Frontera Schüssel ghabt, bin froh das is weiter hab!!!!!!!!

  • hahahaha

  • You need a Series Land Rover

  • thats that really shit opel first SUV

  • GAYNESS

  • If it's got a toyota badge and a diesel engine and it works in 4wd then you would be on the right track...

    Unreal...

  • Interior rebuild too? Woah, you must love your 4x4. Must guys who get waterlogged just fix the motor and be done with it.

    Sweet video :D

  • tell me they inventd lift kits?
